Bennie Sue Wilkinson Dale, 60, of 87 Valley Rd., Lambertville, NJ, died April 2, 1998 in New Jersey.
A native of Rutherfordton County, NC, she was a daughter of Ralph B. Wilkinson and Mattie Mae Story Wilkinson.
Survivors include her spouse, Ronald ``Pat" Dale; son, Ronald ``Ron" Dale of New Jersey; sister, Gaynelle Wilkinson McSorley of Lowell, NC; brother, Donald E. Wilkinson of Fort Myers, FL; 4 nieces and 3 nephews.
Memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, at West Cramerton Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Wilson, officiating.

George William Hathaway, of Atlanta, Georgia formerly of Charlotte. He died Wednesday, April 15, 1998 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mr. Hathaway was born on February 13, 1915 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of the late William E. and Elizabeth Hathaway. He was preceded in death by his first wife Betty.
He graduated from Duke University and served in the Navy during World War II with the rank of Lieutenant.
He worked for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and retired in 1970. He also worked for Consolidated Associates, Columbia, S.C. until his retirement in 1984. The family will receive friends Friday, April 17th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Harry & Bryant Company, 500 Providence Road.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hathaway will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 1998 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1000 East Morehead Street, with The Reverend Frank B. Mayes, officiating. Interment will be private for the family in Sharon Memorial Park.
Mr. Hathaway is survived by his wife, Hazel of Atlanta, Georgia; two sons, Richard Hathaway of Lexington, S.C., and Bob Hathaway of Irvine, CA; and three daughters, Molly Murphy of Charlotte, Ginny Harris of Mosinee, Wisconsin, KathyFinklea of Atlanta, GA; and eight grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Peachtree Hospice, 3600 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia 30340.
Harry & Bryant Company is serving the family of Mr. Hathaway.

Rodney R. Sheline, 68, of St. Paris, Ohio, formerly of Charlotte, NC, died Wednesday morning, April 15, 1998 in Mercy Medical Center, Springfield, Ohio.
He was born April 5, 1930 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Ira and Anna (Snyder) Sheline. Mr. Sheline retired from Amerisure and Shelby Mutual Insurance Company, as a Regional Claims Manager.
His survivors include one son, R. Steven Sheline of Mooresville, NC; three sisters, Eva Hill of Xenia, Ohio, Isabel Cormack and J. Maxine McCabe, both of Springfield, Ohio; one brother, Avery Sheline of Clifton, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Services are being held at the convenience of the family.
The family is being served by the Littleton and Rue Funeral Home, Springfield, Ohio.

Mr. Harold Rice, 51, of 203 S. Linwood Avenue, Charlotte, died April 16, 1998 at Mercy Hospital. A.L. Jinwright Funeral Service is in charge.

Susan W. Bunting, 83, died April 16, 1998. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are by Ridge Funeral Home.

Mr. Crafus Franklin Armstrong, 83, died April 15, 1998. Service is 2 p.m. Saturday at McColl Church of God. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Laurinburg. Visitation is 7-9 p.m. tonight at Rogers Funeral Home.

J.B. ``Blue" Dagenhart, 84, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998. Funeral is 11 AM Friday at Cleveland United Methodist Church. Burial in Cleveland Town Cemetery.

Mrs. Eva Lyman Blanton, 90, died April 16, 1998. Funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at Lily Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cleveland Memorial Park. Visitation is 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.

Sarah Baucom Hill, 85, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998. Funeral is 11 AM Saturday at Lanes Creek Baptist Church. Burial in Hamiltons Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation 7-9 PM Friday at McEwen Funeral Home.

Mr. John Willman Thornton, 53, died April 14, 1998. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Sunday at Harrelson Funeral Home, Caroleen. Visitation is 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Harley Junius Huff, 85, of 2601 Cedarwild Rd., died Wednesday, April 14, 1998 at Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral services will be at 11am Saturday, April 18, 1998 at the McEwen Funeral Service Charlotte Chapel with the Reverend Bill Englebreth officiating, burial will follow in the Evergreen City Cemetery with full military rites, the family will receive friends from 10 until 11am Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Huff was born September 8, 1912 in Piedmont, SC. He was an auditor for the I.R.S., was a member of the Commonwealth United Methodist Church, a WWII Army Veteran and was a P.O.W. He was a loving husband and father.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Katherine Spearman Huff, son James Huff, daughter Martha Huff Lee all of Charlotte, NC., sister Emmie Suggs of Piedmont, SC., 1 grandchild, Kenneth Lee, Jr. of Charlotte, NC.
Memorials may be made to the Commonwealth United Methodist Church, 2434 Commonwealth Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28205.
McEwen Funeral Service, Charlotte Chapel, is serving the family of Mr. Huff.

Mamie Adcock McCool, 89, formerly of Landis, NC, died Tuesday, April 14, 1998 at the N.C. Lutheran Home in Salisbury. Funeral service will be held 11:30 today at Colonial Chapel at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in Landis with the Rev. Dr. Randall Misho officiating. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Park in Concord. Visitation was Thursday night at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Irene Beaver of 606 West Rice St.
Mrs. McCool was born August 27, 1908 in Winston County Mississippi to the late Elizabeth Eaves Adcock and Robert F. Adcock. She attended Mississippi State Schools.
She was a member of Holy Covenant United Church of Christ and a member of the Women's Guild of the Church. She was a member of the Eureka Chapter of the Eastern Star in China Grove, NC and a member of the Woman's Club in Massillon, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer C. McCool who died September 25, 1979.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Marion ``Julie`` Schultz of Massillon, OH and Mrs. Irene Beaver of Landis, NC; 3 grandchildren and 6 Great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to N.C. Lutheran Home, 820 Klumac Rd., Salisbury, NC 28144.

Willie Ardessa White, Sr., 83, of 193 Cross Rail Rd., died Tuesday, April 14, 1998 at Brian Center in Mooresville. Funeral is 3pm Saturday at Caldwell Chapel AME Zion in Mt. Mourne with Rev. Clifton L. Griffa officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-3pm Saturday at the church. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. At other times the family will be at 193 Cross Rail Rd. in Mt. Mourne, NC.
Mr. White was born October 13, 1914 in Mooresville to the late Charlie White and Queen Esther Torrence White.
He was a retired from Sheet Metal Co. He was a member of church where he was a trustee, member of the senior choir, male choir, and superintendent of the Sunday school class.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary T. White of the home; and his son, Willie White, Jr. of Alexandria, Va.
Bryant-Lytle-Young Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. White.

Mr. Pearson Wardrup, 80, died April 15, 1998. Funeral is 11am Saturday at Green Hill Baptist Church. Burial is in church cemetery. Visitation is 10-11am Saturday at the church. McMahan's Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Bessie Lee Caldwell Oates, 54, died Sunday, April 12, 1998. Funeral is 2pm today at Fleming Memorial Chapel at Ebony Funeral Home. Burial will be at Olive Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 1:30 today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Margaret Lucille Alexander Nash Gamble, 83, died April 16, 1998. Graveside service is 11am Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be after the service and at 570 Camrose Circle. Wilkinson Funeral Home is in charge.

Euphra Ramsey Mason, 83, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998. Graveside services will be 11 AM Friday at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation 6:30-7:30 PM Friday at 204 Oak Dr., Lattimore, NC.

Lucy Dortch Hairston, 82, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998. Memorial service will be 11:30 AM Saturday at Church of the Ascension Episcopalian. Arrangements by Piedmont Funeral Home.

Mr. Michael E. Reynolds, 44, died Thursday, April 16, 1998 at his home. Born in Cabarrus County, NC, he was a son of C.T. and Billie Jacquline McCombs Reynolds and was married icon to Patricia Pettit Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was a professional musician and performed with The Blue Collar Band, Concord, NC.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Mrs. Patricia Pettit Reynolds of Concord, NC; 2 daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Linda) Pingley of Midland, NC and Mrs. Shaun (Chrystal) Ware of Harrisburg, NC; 1 son, Anthony Sharpe of Concord, NC; parents, Tommy and Jackie Reynolds of Charlotte, NC; 3 brothers, Patrick Reynolds and Jeff Reynolds, both of Charlotte, NC and Andy Reynolds of Kannapolis, NC; 1 sister, Mrs. Chuck (Jill) Holmes of Charlotte, NC and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon from Mahaffey Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Fort Lawn, SC.
The family will receive friends at Mahaffey Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Funky Terry L. Campbell, 43, 2700 Columbus Circle, died Tuesday, April 14, 1998 at Carolina Medical Center.
Funeral is 2 PM Saturday, April 18, 1998 at Shiloh Institutional Baptist Church with Rev. Clinton Ceasar, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in York Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday 7-8 PM at Family Mortuary.
Mr. Campbell, a Mecklenburg County native, was a Musician Drummer.
Survivors include his father, Arthur Campbell; mother, Rose Campbell; sons, Terrence Johnson, Viccardo Streater; daughters, Shameka Lockhart, Patrice Burton; 1 brother, Dwight Lee Campbell; 4 sisters, Jacqueline Tillman, Deborah Richmond, Cynthia Campbell, Joretha Hagans; 2 uncles, James Campbell, Alec Campbell
