Mr. John Douglas Harmon, 55, of 339 Withrow Rd., Forest City, NC, died Monday, May 11, 1998, at Rutherford Hospital Inc.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 1998, at Bethany Baptist Church with the Revs. Marvin Greene and J.C. Sinclair Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today and other times at the residence.
Born in Rutherford County, NC, Mr. Harmon was son of Mrs. Grace Campbell Harmon of Forest City, NC, and the late Ralph L. Harmon Sr. He was owner/operator of Harmon Landscaping Company and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Mrs. Peggy Ayers Harmon of Forest City, NC; son, Chris Harmon of the home; stepsons, Ron Ayers of Charlotte, NC, and Neil Craig of Henrietta, NC; stepdaughter, Leigh Ann Craig of Greenville, SC; sisters, Mrs. Frances Gurley of North Augusta, SC, Mrs. Nancy Womack of Rutherfordton, NC, Mrs. Yvonne Bridges of Ellenboro, NC, and Mrs. Dorcas Long of Mt. Holly, NC; and four step-grandchildren.

Mrs. Patricia Jean Harris, 58, of Charlotte died Tuesday, May 12, 1998, at Presbyterian Hospital.
Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Park, Rainelle, WV. The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel.
Mrs. Harris was a cashier with Food Lion Food Store.
Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Harris of Charlotte; sons, Dana Harris of Charlotte and Wayne Harris of Lewisburg, WV; sister, Madeline Boone of Hinton, WV; and six grandchildren.

Sanquay Grier, 5 months, died August 9, 2000 at Carolinas Medical Center. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at New Outreach Christian Center, 3900 Gossett Avenue, Charlotte. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Gardens of Charlotte.

Robert Fredrick Moore, III of 10015 Woody Ridge Road, died August 9, 2000 at Carolinas Medical Center. The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 16, 2000 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC. Dr. Gregory K. Moss will officiate. Burial will be in York Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7-8 P.M. Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at Alexander Funeral Home.
He was a 1995 graduate of Providence High School.
He is survived by his parents, Robert F. Moore, Jr and Gwendolyn Kitchen Moore; sister, Ms. Tera L. Moore of Charlotte, NC and grandparents, Mr. Glenn Kitchen and Mary Kitchen of Charlotte, NC.

Roselli, Joseph Anthony
Joseph Anthony Roselli, infant son of Joseph Stephen Roselli and Jennifer Vance Roselli died Friday, August 11, 2000 at Carolina Medical Center.
In addition to his parents, survivors include grandparents, Carol and Pat Roselli of Bridgewater, NJ and Garland and JoAnne Vance of Asheville, NC.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery with Father Kern officiating.
Arrangements are in the care of Raymer Funeral Home.

Williams, Ralph
Mr. Ralph Williams, 79, of 4228 Dinglewood Ave., Charlotte, died August 10, 2000 at University Hospital. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at Nazareth Primitive Baptist Church in Charlotte. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Mae Williams; five sons, Mr. David Williams, Mr. Ralph Williams, Jr., Mr. Fred A. Williams, Mr. Harold Williams, and Mr. Curis Williams; one daughter, Mrs. Dianne W. Stywalt, and one sister, Mrs. Ethel W. Brown; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The body will lie in state at the church from 11:00 until the service.
Yeargin, Shirley McDonald
Mrs. Shirley McDonald Yeargin, 64, of Charlotte, died Saturday, August 12, 2000 at her home.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, Matthews Chapel, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn East Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
Born October 24, 1935, in Bladen County, NC, a daughter of the late A.M. and Isabelle Johnson McDonald, she grew up in Bladen County and graduated from Highsmith Nursing School in Fayetteville, NC. Mrs. Yeargin was a homemaker and a retired registered nurse who had helped set up in the Intensive Care and Coronary Care Units at both Iredell Memorial and Lowrance Hospitals in both Statesville and Mooresville respectively.
Survivors include her son, Donald A.B. Yeargin, II of Kannapolis, NC; her daughter, Cherrie Wilson of Georgetown, TX; four grandchildren, Donald Yeargin, III, Kristy Knowles and Travis and Lindsey Allen; four brothers, Sam McDonald of Shelby, NC, A.M. McDonald, Jr. of Winterville, NC, James McDonald of Oklahoma and Brad McDonald of Fayetteville; and three sisters, Elsie Brisson of Wrightsville Beach NC, Louise Cain of Fayetteville and Nell Cason of Williamsburg, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Yeargin was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A.B. Yeargin, and one sister, Jean Schmidt of Columbus, OH.
The family requests memorials be sent to Hospice at Charlotte, 1420 E. 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
Mrs. Yeargin was a very joyful, sharing, caring person who will be missed for her spunky, fighting spirit. She lived for her grandkids.

BELMONT - Carrie Baker Voyles, 83, of 2995 Lake Front Drive, died Friday, August 11, 2000. She was born in Poke County, TN, on October 23, 1916.
Funeral is Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Greene Funeral Service Westside Chapel. The Rev. Joe Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
She was retired from Dixie Yarns Rex No. 2.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Davis, David Lineberger, Shane Mathis, Ben Voyles, Daniel Voyles, and Jason Voyles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Voyles, and parents, Thomas & Margaret Baker.
She is survived by Son and Daughter-in-law, Clarence and Pam Voyles of Bessemer City, Son, Harold Voyles of Gastonia, Daughters and Sons-in-law, Katherine and Randy McClure of Belmont, Barbara and mark Hamrick of Gastonia, brother, Tom Baker of Georgia, Sister, Lissie Weaver of Georgia, 12 Grandchildren and nine Great-Grandchildren.
