BELL ARTHUR -- Mary Daughtery, 84, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002.

BOBBY R. MILLS
BALTIMORE, MD. -- Bobby Ray Mills, 68, formerly of Tarboro, died Feb. 1, 2002.
He was supervisor at the Maryland Ship Yard for many years.
After retirement, he resided in Edgewood Maryland with his wife.
He was preceded in death by his mother Kate Mills and a brother Vernon "Buster" Mills.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie Taylor Mills; his father, Mathew D. Mills both of Maryland; a brother, Thomas H. Mills Sr. of Tarboro.
Services and interment private. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice Foundation.
Friends and family may call at Thomas H. Mills Sr. residence, 508 Palmer St., Tarboro, after Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002.
FANNIE D. BATEMAN
WILSON -- Fannie Driver Bateman, 85, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Rev. Benjamin Poythress and Pastor Joseph Puryear officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ernest Bateman.
Bateman is survived by a son Samuel W. Driver of Wilson; stepdaughters, Doris Furlough of Bethel, Glenda Gardner of Tarboro, Jean Williams of Tarboro, Margaret Bateman of Tarboro, Mary Bateman of Washington; stepsons, Wayne Bateman of Tarboro, H.D. Bateman of Vanceboro; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 US 264 W.
Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Oberlin Rd., Suite 208, Raleigh, N.C. 27605.

ADDIE W. DELOATCH
PRINCEVILLE -- Addie Williams Deloatch, 77, died Aug. 6, 2002.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Highway Temple of Truth Church with Bishop Michael Deloatch officiating.
Burial will follow in the Community Cemetery.
Deloatch was born in Edgecombe County and was the daughter of the late Charlie Williams and Alice Leigh Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Luther Deloatch and was a member of Highway Temple of Truth Church where she served on the Mother Board and Lakeside Community Mission.
She is survived by three daughters Gladys Pippen, Bernice Deloatch and Alice D. Hinton, all of Princeville; three sons, James C. Deloatch and Clinton B. Deloatch, both of Princeville and Oscar Ray Deloatch of Tarboro; two sisters, Maude Deloatch of Speed and Annie Olivia Smith of Tarboro; a brother, Oscar Leigh of Baltimore, Md.; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 2-7 Friday at Dickens Funeral Chapel.

EDITH C. JORDAN
PINETOWN -- Edith Cox Jordan, 85, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002, at Ridgewood Manor. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home in Washington and will be officiated by Fred Wilson, Ben James and Glenn Brickhouse. Burial will follow in Jordan Family Cemetery in Pinetown.
Jordan was born April 19, 1917, daughter of the late William Benjamin Cox and Zadie Sheppard Cox. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie W. Jordan Sr. and a son, John William. She was a member of Pinetown Church of Christ.
She is survived by four daughters, Pauline S. Jordan, Sybil Barber of Washington, Paul Holt of Vanceboro and Mary LaBarbera of Washington; a son, Leslie Jordan of Chocowinity; a brother, W.B. Cox of Washington; three sisters, Naomi Boyd of Pinetown, Dorothy Eborn of Mechanicsville, Va. and Geraldine Respass of Chocowinity; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. tonight at Paul Funeral Home in Washington and other times at the home of her son, Leslie Jordan Jr., 12 Blackbird Lane, Whichard's Beach Rd., Chocowinity.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

BEULAH H. ANDREWS
Beulah Harris Andrews, 80, died Sunday, April 27, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Reginald Silver officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane.
Andrews was born May 1, 1922 in Edgecombe County to the late William Harrison and the Late Martha Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Andrews.
She is survived by a brother, Ernest Harris of Baltimore, Md. and a sister, Rosa M. Hinton of Tarboro.
Visitation will be held from 2 - 7 p.m. Thursday at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service.

She is survived by sons, Wallace Eason Jr. and Vinson Craig Eason, both of Tarboro; a stepson, James Sutton of Baltimore, Md.; daughters, Angel Eason Scott of Roanoke Rapid, Wanda Eason Savage of Tarboro; Hope Eason and Darlene Eason Health, both of Pinetops; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
