ANGIER - June Sorrell Fulmer, 66, of 833 N. Benton Street, beloved wife, mother and friend of the community, died Thursday. Funeral service 3 p.m. Sunday at Angier Baptist Church. Burial, Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Surviving: husband, Robert D. "Bob" Fulmer, Jr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Robbie and Myra Fulmer, Kenny and Rita Fulmer, all of Angier; brothers, Bobby F. Sorrell of Cero Gordo, Edgar Sorrell of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Traci Jo Musgrave and Justin Steele Fulmer, both of Angier.
Visitation 7-9 p.m. today at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
Contributions may be made to Angier Baptist Church, P.O. Box 130, Angier, NC 27501.

STACY LYNN GROW
RALEIGH, NC - Stacy Lynn Grow, 28, resident of Raleigh, NC died Thursday, May 6, 1999, in Stanfordville, NY.
Born in Laramie, Wyoming, on Nov. 23, 1970, daughter of Russell and Suzanne Klatt Grow.
Graduate of Stissing Mtn. Jr. & Sr. High School, Pine Plains; Cumelaud from Westlyain College, North Carolina.
Ms. Grow served in the Army, during Persian Gulf War, as a military police soldier. She obtain Sergeant from 1988-1992. In addition to serving in the color guard, she was a member of the Army military Police equivalent of a police "SWAT" team.
She is the Interplant coordinator for Square D Co., Raleigh, NC.
Survivors include her parents, Russell and Suzanne Klatt Grow, Stanfordville, NY; a sister, Lisa Grow, Baltimore, MD; three aunts, Vicki Svensen, New Carrlton, MD; Cindy Bielski, Atlanta, GA, Judy Perisho, West Plains, Missouri; great aunt, Madelynn Thomas, Tampa, FL.
Ms. Grow is predeceased by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Klatt, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Grow and a uncle Donald and Susan Grow.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 10 from the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, S. Main St., Pine Plains.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 11 from the Immaculate Conception Church, Bangall, with the Fr. Richard O'Gorman, officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Bangall, N.Y.
Memorial contributions are requested to the Lyme Disease Foundation, One Financial Plaza 18 Floor, Hartford, CT 06103.

AGNES W. GUNTER
LUCAMA - Agnes Watson Gunter, 79, died Friday. She taught home economics at Lucama High School for 37 years.
Funeral, Sunday, 4:00 p.m., Lucama United Methodist Church. Entombment, Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Surviving is her husband, Leon L. Gunter; sister, Albert Phelps of Sims; five nieces and nephews.
The family will be at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Service, Wilson, today, 7-8:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the church at P.O. Box 656, Lucama, NC 27851.

CLIFTON LEROY "C. L." KEEL JR.
ROBERSONVILLE - Mr. Clifton Leroy "C. L." Keel, Jr., 65, received his heavenly reward May 6, 1999. He leaves behind to mourn his passing his loving and faithful wife of 27 years, Sylvia Jean Pierce Keel; daughter, Debra Keel Swain of Charlotte, NC; son, Clifton Leroy Keel III of Robersonville, NC; daughter, Jerri Duanne Keel of Navarre FL; daughter, Paige Keel Scott and her husband Ray of Bear Grass, NC; son, Cecil Payton Keel and his wife Coral of Robersonville, NC. He was a loving and devoted grandfather and is survived by nine beautiful grandchildren: Amy and Bert Swain, Hunter and Madeline Keel, Cayla and Keely Scott, and Jessica, April, and Payton Keel Jr. He leaves behind three sisters: Virginia Mae Catalon and husband Cal of Jacksonville, NC; Joyce Dixon and husband Albert of Cocoa Beach, FL; and Sharon Sunner and her husband Emmitt of Greensboro, NC. He was the Godfather to Guedalupe Maria Melendes, Ashley Lewis Meeks, Emily Caroline Meeks and Matthew Brooks Shackelford.
After graduation from high school he joined the United States Army for two years as a Rifle Drill Sergeant. He came home to farm with a pair of bibb overalls and two mules with a plow. He farmed in Martin County for 47 years and was a pork producer for 20 years.
He was a member of Stonewall Masonic Lodge, served on 4-H Lamb and Swine Show Steering Committee, Martin County ABC Board for 12 years, Farm Credit Advisory Board, and Roanoke River Basin Wetlands Committee.
He was baptized on January 25, 1999 and joined Gold Point Christian Church. He loved to hunt, fish, and play golf. He loved his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and his godchildren. He would like for you to know that each of you can receive the gift of everlasting life just like he has.
The funeral will be held Sunday, May 9, 1999 by Rev. Willis Wilson and Rev. Tom Hill at Robersonville Baptist Church on Railroad Street at 4 p.m. Burial service will be at Martin Memorial Gardens.
He was that rare, faithful, and caring person who touched the lives of those who knew and loved him. He will be missed by many friends, family and loved ones.
Biggs Funeral Home in Robersonville is in charge of arrangements.

SAMUEL F. PADGETT III
WARRENTON - Samuel F. Padgett III, 80, a native of Richmond, Virginia, and resident of Warrenton, North Carolina, died Thursday, May 6, 1999 in Miami, Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Shearin Padgett; his three daughters, Joanne Weisenborn of Raleigh, Lynn Marie Padgett-Brown of Reston, Va., and Virginia Elizabeth (Beth) Harrison of Miami, Fla.; his six grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Weisenborn, Laura Nell VanDelinder, Joy Crutcher Harrison, Samuel Sayre VanDelinder, Lesley Ann Brown and John Cowles Harrison III; and his two brothers, Howard Padgett and Carey Padgett, both of Richmond, Va.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, at Warrenton Baptist Church, 226 North Main St., Warrenton, N.C. Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, in Hollywood Cemetery, 412 S. Cherry St., Richmond, Va.
Prior to the graveside service, friends may call at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., Richmond from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
in lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in memory of Samuel F. Padgett III to the Myasthenia Gravis Research Fund of Duke University Medical Center, Box 3403, Durham, North Carolina 27710.

REBA HARRIS CANNON PIGG
TARBORO - Reba Harris Cannon Pigg, 85, died Tuesday.
Funeral service were held Thursday 3 p.m. at the Tarboro Church of God with the Rev. Reid Huffman and Rev. Haywood Preslar officiating. Burial in Edgecombe Memorial Park.
Survivors: daughter, Shirley C. Brown of Pinetops, Margaret Elaine Schwebe ofMagnolia, Texas; Shelby C. Burks of San Antonio, Texas; sons, Edward Eugene Cannon of Orlando, Fla., Lester Melvin Cannon of Goldsboro, Samuel Earl Cannon of Pinetops; stepdaughter, Betty Ruth Brown of Tarboro; stepson, Jerry Pigg of Tarboro; brother, William Eugene Harris of Smithfield; 25 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

LOUISE DICKENS VICK
SPEED - Louise Dickens Vick, 71, died Friday.
Funeral 2 p.m. Sunday at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Julian Thompson and Rev. William Butler officiating. Burial in Edgecombe Memorial Park.
Survivors: daughter, Kathy Louise Vick of the home; sons, Bobby Vick, Speed and Curtis Ray Vick, Tarboro; sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Phelps, Scotland Neck and Minnie Gray Lewis, Aulander; brothers, Norman Otis "Fat" Dickens, Tarboro, Linwood "Frog" Dickens, Whitakers, Maylon Borden "Sonny Boy" Dickens, Hampton, VA.
The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. Saturday.

EDNA ADAMS WILEY
WASHINGTON - Mrs. Edna Adams Wiley, 89, formerly of 116 River Road, Washington Park, died in the Beaufort County Hospital Friday, May 7, 1999.
Funeral 3 p.m. Sunday, First Baptist Church. Burial in Oakdale Cemetery.
Surviving: five children, William R. Wiley and wife Sally J. Wiley, Gayle Wiley Morgan and husband Bill Morgan, Steve Wiley and wife Pat Wiley, all of Washington, NC; John R. Wiley and wife Susan Wiley of Raleigh and Katherine Wiley Lassiter and husband Doug Lassiter of Asheville; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Carter Davis of Chase City, Virginia.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 113 North Harvey St., Washington, NC 27889.
Family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Morgan, 116 River Road, Washington Park, 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday evening.

DOROTHY A. HONEYCUTT
RALEIGH - Mrs. Dorothy A. Honeycutt, 76, formerly of Raleigh, died Dec. 30, 1998 in Littleton, MA. She was employed for many years at the NCSU School of Forestry.
Surviving: daughters, Ellen House, Susan Honeycutt and Rebecca Threewitts, all of Raleigh; grandchildren, Robert A. Purser Jr. of GA, Sean Threewitts, Tiffany Threewitts, Amy Honeycutt, Anna Bradsher Honeycutt and Katherine House, all of Raleigh, all of Raleigh; two great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Rennie Hobby and son-in-law, Ken Threewitts, both of Raleigh; sister, Edith Nelson
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Ellen Almborg; husband, Robert R. Honeycutt; son, Jonathan Honeycutt; sisters, Ann Olson and Helen Bulger.
The memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 1999, Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 4415 Pleasant Grove Church Rd., Raleigh.
Relatives and friends are invited to the service and reception following.

BONNIE SWART
FEB. 8, 1951 - JAN. 12, 1999
GARNER - Bonnie L. Swart, 47, beautiful and loving wife of Stan Swart, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 12, 1999.
She is survived by her husband Stan; daughter, Susan Swart of Garner; son, James Swart and wife, Stacey of Rockville, MD; stepson, Don Swart and wife, Tammy of Franklin, OH; parents, William and Beverly Hoxie of Camano Island, WA; sister, Carolyn Hoxie also of Camano Island, WA; brothers, Robert Hoxie of Waipahu, HI, Richard Hoxie of Camano Island, WA, BillY Hoxie of Lanai, HI, Thomas Hoxie of Camano Island, WA.
She is lovedand will be missed by her friends and extended family as well.
A memorial service will be held at the Raleigh First Church of the Nazarene 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 1999.
The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to: Raleigh First Church of the Nazarene, Benevolent Fund, 1329 Highway 70 West, Garner, NC 27529.

ELEANOR G. BECKER
CARY - Marjorie Eleanor Griffin Becker of Maryland, formerly of St. Pauls, NC and Raleigh, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ peacefully January 13, 1999.
Born November 4, 1914, she was a devoted, loving, Christian mother and grandmother and loved beyond words.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, five sisters, three brothers and one precious daughter, Gracie V. Russ.
Surviving are one brother, Clarence E. Becker of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; two sons, Neal Harold Griffin of Roanoke Rapids and Jerry Glenn Griffin of Millsboro, Delaware; four daughters, Ramona Smith of Raleigh, Retha M. Reiser of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, Mary Frances Apgar of Millsboro, Delaware and Rena M. Johnson of Belair, Maryland; 25 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, January 16 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary.Service will follow visitation in the chapel at Brown-Wynne. Burial is at Raleigh Memorial Park.
The family requests that any donations be made to Carney Assembly of God Church, 3319 Summit Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21234. Scriptue: John 3:16.

DON COLUMBUS CARSON
BETHEL - Don Columbus Carson Jr., 74, of 309 Cullifer Street, died Thursday, January 14, 1999 in Pitt Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Pitt County and a retired farmer. Mr. Carson was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and served on the church Board of Trustees and the Administrative Board. He was a former town commissioner and attended both Duke University and East Carolina College. He was a member and past Master of Lodge #589 as well as a member and past president of the Bethel Fire and Rescue Squad.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 1999 at the Bethel Cemetery by the Rev. Gayla Estes and the Rev. Ellis Bedsworth.
Survivors include; wife, Daisy Lee Andrews Carson of Bethel; daughter, Jackie C. Carson and husband Hilton of Greenville; son, Don C. Carson III and wife Kathy of Bethel; brothers, Dr. Jack Carson of Grifton, J.R. Bunting of Bethel; grandchildren, Bo and Mark Carson of Chapel Hill, Russ and Sarah Carson of Greenville.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at Walker Funeral Home-Ayers Chapel.
