DOROTHY A. HONEYCUTT
RALEIGH - Mrs. Dorothy A. Honeycutt, 76, formerly of Raleigh, died Dec. 30, 1998 in Littleton, MA.
Surviving: daughters, Ellen House, Susan Honeycutt and Rebecca Threewitts, all of Raleigh; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Rennie Hobby and son-in-law, Ken Threewitts, both of Raleigh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Honeycutt; son, Jonathan Honeycutt.
The memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 1999, Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 4415 Pleasant Grove Church Rd., Raleigh.
Relatives and friends are invited to the service and reception following.

SUSIE INGRAM
FOUR OAKS - Mrs. Susie Bell Ingram, 87, of 2501 Downing St., Wilson, N.C., died Friday at Brian Center in Wilson.
Mrs. Ingram was born in Johnston County to the late Joe Henry and Sara Jane Massengill Johnson.
Funeral will be Sunday 3 p.m. at Minshew Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at the Olivers Grove Church Cemetery. Rev. James Joyner will officiate over the service.
Surviving are: sons, Rev. Joe H. Ingram of Wilson, Thomas Wayne Ingram of Fairfield; daughter, Katie Hinnant of Kenly; brothers, Robert Massengill of Four Oaks, Rotha Massengill of Raleigh; sister, Nellie Johnson of Smithfield; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Minshew Funeral Home from 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday.

LOUISE R. JORDAN
GREENVILLE - Mrs. Louise Riggan Jordan, 86, died Friday, January 15, 1999 at her home.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at Roselawn Cemetery in Tallahassee, Florida.
Mrs. Jordan, a native of Raleigh, lived her early life there and attended St. Mary's College in Raleigh. In 1936, she married Dr. Weymouth Tyree Jordan and in 1940 they moved to Auburn, Alabama, where they lived several years prior to making their home in Tallahassee, Florida in 1949. She was employed by the Tallahassee Democrat for more than 20 years before retiring in 1977.
Dr. Jordan preceded her in death in 1968. After retiring, she made her home in Greenville in 1979. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the Town & Country Senior Citizens, and the AARP. She was also active in the Quilter's and Embroiderer's Guilds.
She is survived by: sons, Weymouth Tyree Jordan, Jr. of Raleigh, William Royster Jordan of Tallahassee, Florida; daughter, Elizabeth Jordan Markowski of Greenville, NC; grandchildren, Susannah and Claire Jordan of Raleigh, Tyree and Daniel Jordan of Tallahassee, Florida, Mike Edwards of South Daytona, Florida, Jordan Markowski of Arlington, Virginia, and Edward Markowski of Greenville, NC; great-grandchild, David Edwards of South Daytona, Florida; sister, Roxie Hatchell of San Francisco, California; and brother, Joseph Riggan of Greensboro, NC.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Greenville.

OLIVE B. JOYCE
STONEVILLE - Mrs. Olive Kathleen Bryan Joyce, 70, of 155 Oak Grove Drive, died Thursday, January 14, 1999, at Duke University Medical Center.
Following a private burial, a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 1999, at the Madison Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the Patterson Fellowship Hall adjacent to the church and other times at the residence.
Mrs. Joyce was born in Spartanburg, SC, was a homemaker, and was a member of the Madison Presbyterian Church where she served on the Witness and Service Committee. She was a member of the Madison Service League, Pi Beta Phi Sorority at the University of SC, Dolly Madison Book Club, Deep Springs Garden Club, and the James Hunter Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include her husband William Donald Joyce of the home; her son, William D. "Bill" Joyce, Jr. and wife, Sherri Haworth of Dickson, Tennessee; her daughter, Donna Kathleen Joyce Hessee and husband, Layne Martin Hessee of Hillsborough; her grandchildren, Jesse Benjamin Joyce, William Thomas Joyce, Shawn Martin Hessee, and Ashleylayne Hessee; her brother, David C. Bryan, Jr. of Cayce, South Carolina; and her sister, Mary Bryan Gayden of Indiatlantic, Florida.

MICHAEL C. KELSAY
WILMINGTON - Michael C. Kelsay, of 357 R.L. Honeycutt Dr., Wilmington, NC passed away at his home, Thursday, January 14th. Mike was the son of the late Hoyt C. Kelsay of Raleigh, and Eva L. Kelsay of Wilmington. He moved to Wilmington in 1990 from Raleigh, where he still has many friends. Mike was retired from U.P.S. and currently owned and operated Cape Fear Courier, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy and son, Gray Kelsay of the home, his mother, Eva Kelsay of Wilmington; daughters, Jennifer and Shelly Kelsay of Virginia; and sister, Diane Simpson of Dothan, Alabama.
Mike and Cathy were active member of Pine Valley Country Club, where his good humor and outgoing personality will be forever missed. He never met a stranger, and always became a friend.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Rd., Wilmington by Ruth Murray.
The family will receive friends at the residence, immediately following the service.

ELIZABETH A. LANDAUER
KINSTON - Elizabeth Albritton Landauer, 86, died Thursday, January 14, 1999 in Charlotte, where she had resided at the Carriage Club Retirement Home for the last two years to be near her daughters and grandchildren.
Burial will be in Westview Cemetery in Kinston. A memorial service will be held at Queen Street United Methodist Church at 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 18, 1999, with the Rev. Randall Baker and Craig Ham officiating.
She was born and reared in Hookerton, NC, and lived all of her life in Greene and Lenoir Counties before moving to Charlotte. She was a graduate of Louisburg Academy, Louisburg, and of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (formerly Women's College) and taught school in Kinston where she met and married Herbert Jacob Landauer who preceded her in death 11 years ago.
She was very active in the community and especially at Queen Street Methodist Church, where she served on the board of Stewards for 15 years and as a circle leader and Sunday school teacher. She was on the boards of the Kinston Arts Council, the Lenoir County Historical Society, serving as the editor of the Pictorial History of the Lenoir County Heritage. She was a charter member of the Ladies Organization of World War II and of the Queen Anne Chapter of the Daughters of the American Colonists. She was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Colonial Dames of the XVII Century. She was the presidential chairman of the Cancer Drive, the Ladies chairman of District Rotary, a Paul Harris Fellow and the troop organization chairman of the Girl Scouts.
She is survived by her two daughters, Anne Landauer Sprock and her husband, Howard Martin Sprock Junior of Greensboro, and Louise Landauer Allred and her husband, John Thompson Allred of Charlotte, and her three grandchildren, Allison Sprock Linden and her husband, Frank Emerson Linden of Charlotte, Howard Martin Sprock III and his wife, Leigh-Ann Whitley Sprock of Atlanta, Ga., and John Thompson Allred, Junior of Charlotte
In lieu of flowers, any memorials may be made to Queen Street United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 508, Kinston, NC 28502, Hospice of Charlotte, 1420 East 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204; or the Lenoir County Community College, Hwy. 58 East, Kinston, NC 28501.

CRAWFORD ERVIN LANE SR.
WILSON - Crawford Ervin Lane Sr., a former teacher, coach and principal, 72, of 2413 Bel Aire Avenue, Wilson, NC, died Thursday, January 14, 1999 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Wilson, NC. Funeral service will be held on Sunday< January 17, 1999, 2 p.m. at the L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, 1800 S.E. Lane Street Extension, Wilson, NC. Elder Darryl Canady will officiate. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street Extension, Wilson, NC.
He is survived by two sons, Crawford E. Lane Jr. of Greensboro, NC and Michael B. Lane of Charlotte, NC; one daughter, Ms. Deborah A. Lane of Greensboro, NC; two grandchildren, Sean and Valerie Lane of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Mrs. Agnes L. Bullock of Rocky Mt. NC; one brother, Mr. Jesse E. Lane of Richmond, VA; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ladi J. Lane of Charlotte, NC; two brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law; a special friend, Mrs. Jean Sullivan of Wilson, NC; several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless persons who will find it hard to forget this great friend.
The body may be viewed at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, Inc. 726 S. Tarboro Street, Wilson, NC on Saturday, January 16 1999 from 3-6 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Jackson Chapel First Baptist Church, Corner of Nash and Pender Streets at 7 p.m. where the family will receive friends. They will assemble at the residence at 1 p.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.

DUANE A. MAY
SANFORD - Duane Alan May, 35, of 635 South Mansfield Ave., Los Angeles, California, formerly of Sanford, died Tuesday in Los Angeles.
Mr. May was born in Lee County and was a dance instructor.
Surviving: parents, William Earl May and Shelba Springs May of Sanford; sister, Darla May Barefoot of Jacksonville, FL; and special friend, Kirk Anthony Poehlman.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 1999 at Grace Chapel Church by the Rev. Rudy Holland and the Rev. Bob Yandle. Burial will follow in Lee Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 1999.

MELROSE FERGERSON PERRY
FRANKLINTON - Melrose Fergerson Perry, 51, of 1061 W. Green Street, died Friday, January 15, 1999 at Wake Medical Center. She was born in Franklin County and was a seamstress for Tom-Togs.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, January 17, 1999 in Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Vance Midgett officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Perry is survived by her husband, Rupert Perry; daughter, Melissa Gourley of Wake Forest and Denise Fergerson of Cary; mother, Hazel Beck of Wake Forest; sister, Jean Temple of Raleigh; brothers, Willie Fergerson of Wake Forest and Ronnie Fergerson of Zebulon; three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Fergerson.
The family will be at Bright Funeral Home from 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday evening.

ALBERT EARL PRICE
WASHINGTON - Mr. Albert Earl Price, 75, a resident of Meridian Drive, Greenville and formerly of the small community of Aurora, died Thursday morning, January 14, 1999 at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16th at White Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Aurora, with Rev. Owen Arthur and Rev. Grady Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the Cuthrell Cemetery.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Rodney Butler, Lewis Fleming, Burton Gray, Tom Harrell, Woodrow Peaden and Buck Williamson.
Mr. Price was born May 9, 1923,in Halifax County, son of the late Charlie and Addie Luvenia Taylor Price. He married Lala Cayton from Aurora who preceded him in death on February 14, 1992. He later married the former Mary Zurface who survives. He was a welder, ship fitter and crane operator and was a member of the Edward Christian Church. Mr. Price served his country during World War II in the US Marines.
Earl Price was a man who loved his God, family and fellowman. His life was lived with "great heart". He always tried to do the right thing to everyone he met. A warm, loving, caregiver has gone to the arms of God.
in addition to his wife, Mary, survivors include, two daughters, Jane Price Robbins of Zebulon, Lala Williamson of Aurora; three grandsons, Kenneth Earl Harris of Aurora, Roy Allen Harris of Vanceboro, Glenn Williamson of Aurora; Two great-granddaughters, Macy Williamson and Avery Williamson, both of Aurora; one sister, Lillian Trewin of Jessop, Iowa; one sister-in-law, Hellen Kidd of White Plains, Va; four nieces, Gail Beale, Betty Lou Lynch, Allie Mae Farmer and Margaret Forrest, all of Roanoke Rapids; one nephew, Jackie Price of Union Level, Va.
Family will receive friends at the White Hill Free Will Baptist Church Fellowship Hall immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to the Edward Christian Church, 32 Academy Street, Edward, N.C. 27821; or White Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 9204 Bonnerton Road, Aurora, NC 27806.

SARA SIMMONS QUINN
WASHINGTON, NC - Sara Simmons Quinn, 81, a native of Gaffney, SC died January 15, 1999 after an extended illness.
Survived by her husband, Col. (Ret.) William N. Quinn of 118 Wellington Drive of Washington, NC; daughters, Linda Hickman and Rosemary Bielejeski of Cary, NC and Billie Ventura of Washington, NC; three grandsons, Joshua Hickman, Matthew Bielejeski, and Michael Ventura; sisters, Bett Mabry of Gaffney, SC and Bobbi Brown of Spartanburg, SC.
Graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 1999 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.

GLORIA T. RAWLINGS
JUNE 2, 1926 - JAN 15, 1999
WILSON - Gloria Thompson Rawlings, 72, of Wilson, died Friday morning at her home.
She was born in Wendell, the daughter of the late Russell Randolph Thompson and Helen Rigsbee Thompson.
She was a retired librarian with the Wilson County Public Library. She attended Greensboro College and graduated with Bachelor of Science degree at UNC at Chapel Hill.
She was the president of the Episcopal Church Women at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church from 1973-1975. She also served on the St. Francis Guild and the Memorials committee. She was a member of the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association in Wilson County for 8 years. She was a director of the Arts Council of Wilson.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, 1999 at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, with the Reverend Philip Byrum officiating.
Surviving her sons and daughters-in-law, Lenox D. and Janice Rawlings III of Greensboro, John H. and Kathy Rawlings of Wilmington, Russell Thompson and Kim Rawlings of Wilson; her daughter, Ann Thompson Rawlings of Raleigh; grandchildren, Jennifer Karabin and Barak Karabin.
She was predeceased by her brother, James Russell Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Mental Health Association in Wilson County, 509 W. Nash St., Wilson, N.C. 27893.
The family will receive friends from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Saturday at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 202 N. Goldsboro St., Wilson, other times at her home.
