MARY OLIVE HAY
RALEIGH -- Mary Olive Hay, 73, a native of Raleigh, died August 13, 1999 at Rex Convalescent Care Center, where she resided for the past five years.
Mary Olive was preceded in death by her parents Oscar P. Hay and Susan Olive Hay of Raleigh; brother, Thomas T. Hay of Durham and sister, Nell R. Hay of Raleigh.
She is survived by her sister, Rosalie Hay Heltzel of Mobile, Ala.; brother, Oscar P. Hay Jr. of Raleigh; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will be receiving at the home of Oscar P. Hay Jr., 3317 Redbud Lane, Raleigh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Raleigh, Capital Funds Campaign for Handicap Accessibility, 112 S. Salisbury St., Raleigh, N.C. 27601.

MARGARET WHEELOUS KEITH
CREEDMOOR -- Margaret Wheelous Keith, 72, a resident of 15716 Creedmoor Road, died Friday, August 13th at her residence.
A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Albert and Blonnie O'Neal Wheelous. A member of Union Baptist Church and was retired as a LPN clinic supervisor at ARC.
Funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday evening at the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Durham.
She is survived by her husband, Elbert Cecil Keith Sr., two daughters, Margaret Agnes K. Hobgood and husband, Alvin, of Creedmoor, Laura A. Keith of Raleigh; a son, Elbert C. Keith Jr. of Creedmoor; three grandchildren, Emily, Adam, and Susan Hobgood, all of Creedmoor; two sisters, Polly W. Garner of Wake Forest, Mary Nell Wheelous of Creedmoor; a brother, Charlie L. Wheelous of Creedmoor.

Visitation 5-7 p.m. Sunday evening immediately prior to the funeral service at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
MATWI LYTVINENKO
CARY -- Matwi Lytvinenko, 87, of Cary, died Friday, August 13, 1999. Mr. Lytvinenko was born in the Ukraine. He immigrated to the United States in 1950. He was employed by US Steel for over 25 years. He moved to Cary in 1994. Mr. Lytvinenko was a devout member of the Orthodox Christian Church.
A funeral service will be held Monday 10 a.m. at the All Saints Orthodox Church. The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. at the church. The burial will follow the next day in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Lytvinenko is survived by his wife, Anna Lytvinenko of Durham; sons, John Lytvinenko of Cary, Victor Lytvinenko of Ukraine and Anatoli Lytvinenko of Ukraine; daughter-in-law, Nellie Lytvinenko of Cary; daughters, Ekaterina Mordvinova and Lida Arhipova both of Ukraine; grandchildren, Kristen Lytvinenko, Victor Lytvinenko and Timothy Lytvinenko all of Cary.

LOUIS G. McCOTTER JR.
NEW BERN -- Mr. Louis Grady McCotter Jr. died August 13, 1999 at home.
He was the son of the late Louis Grady McCotter Sr. and Annie Flowers McCotter of Vandemere. He graduated from Rocky Mount High School, where he lived with his aunt and uncle Grace McCotter Peele and John L. Peele for nine years. He came to live in New Bern in 1938.
He was in the U.S. Army Air Force for three years, serving in England and France. He worked at New Bern Oil and Fertilizer plant prior to going into the service. Upon his retirement, he worked as an Automobile and Tractor Dealer for many years, serving customers in a five County area.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of New Bern for 59 years, where he was a member of the board of Deacons and Treasure of the Sunday School. He was a member of the Salvation Army Advisory board and the Civitan Club. He was also Chairman of the Civil Service board of the City of New Bern.
Mr. McCotter married Mary Bryan Marriner on December 21, 1939 and is survived by his loving wife of 60 years. Also surviving are his son, Louis Grady McCotter III and his wife, Betty; granddaughter, Catherine McCotter; grandson, Louis Grady McCotter IV and his brother, Pat McCotter of Vandemere.
The family will receive friends at the home, 1300 Heritage Drive, New Bern.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 16, 1999 at the First Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James S. Lowry. The interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, New Bern.

LEAMON "AARON" McLAMB
FOUR OAKS -- Mr. Leamon "Aaron" McLamb, age 58, of 904 Sanders Street, Four Oaks, NC, a God loving husband and father died Saturday after a courageous battle with a length illness. Mr. McLamb worked up until the last day as owner and operator of McLamb AMOCO. Funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Minshew Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hills of Neuse Memory Gardens.

NANCY ANN NIGHTINGALE-SENDEK
ROCKY MOUNT -- Nancy A. Nightingale-Sendek, 63, died Wednesday, August 11, 1999. She was born February 27, 1936 in Windber, Pennsylvania daughter of the late Charles Paul and Rose Ann Clemson Nightingale.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Michael Sendek; sons, David Michael Sendek of San Deigo, CA, Curtis Paul Sendek of Knightdale, NC, Stephen John Sendek of Nashville, NC, J. Patrick Sendek of Huddinge, Sweden; grandchildren, Ryan Christopher Sendek, Brandon Michael Sendek, Lindsay Renee Sendek, Anna-Olivia Astracan Sendek; brother, Charles Clemson Nightingale of Farmville, VA.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Monday.

Visitation for the family and friends was held July 14, 1999 in Milwaukee. A private funeral service was held on July 15, 1999 at Max A. Sass and Sons Mission Hills Chapel. A private burial took place at Pinelawn Cemetery in Milwaukee on July 16, 1999.

SALLIE SATTERTHWAITE PARKER
MACCLESFIELD -- Sallie Satterthwaite Parker, 93, a resident of Maccripine Retirement Home and formerly of Crisp died Saturday.
Graveside service will be held Monday 11 a.m. with Rev. Bill Smyth and Rev. Jeff Holden officiating in the Wooten-Parker Family Cemetery between Hwy. 258 and Sharp Point.
She was the daughter of the late James R. and Sallie Manning Satterthwaite and was preceded in death by her son Robert Wooten Parker.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Tarboro and attended Eagles Baptist Church for many years. She received many degrees from St. Marys College, Barton College and Appalachian State University. She was a teacher and librarian for the Edgecombe County Schools and a college Counselor at ECU, also a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma.
The family will be receiving friends at Carlisle Funeral Home, Sunday 7-9 p.m.

RALEIGH -- Rev. Annie Hooker Perry, of 6537 Lincolnville Road, died Thursday.
Funeral services Monday 1 p.m. at Lincolnville AME Church. Burial, Montlawn Memorial Park.
Surviving: daughters, Pamela Hooker, Faye Hooker and Mary Watkins all of Raleigh; sons, Wilbert Hooker, Jr., Melvin Lee Hooker and Elder Donald W. Hooker all of Raleigh; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

WILLIAM E. POOLE
YOUNGSVILLE -- William Everette Poole, 64, of 122 Cooley Road, died Saturday, August 14, 1999 at Franklin Regional Hospital. He was born in Wake County and was the son of the late Mirther and Missouri Cross Poole. He was a retired security guard at Southeastern Seminary.
Funeral services will be held 1 o'clock, Monday afternoon, August 16, 1999 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Poole is survived by his wife, Nadine D. Poole; son, Tony Poole of Youngsville; step-daughter, Joyce Holmes of Louisburg; step-son, Joseph Hicks of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Matthew Ryan Poole, Blaine Holmes and Kristen Holmes; sisters, Margaret Mayo of Charlotte, Mabel Moore of Benson and Louise Wilbon of Smithfield.
