Michelle Wilson, 29, Grand Forks, died April 24, 1997 in St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minn.
Michelle Ann Beaudry was born July 25, 1967, in Minneapolis.
She grew up and attended school in Argyle, Minn.
She graduated from Argyle High School.
She moved to Grand Forks. She married Brent Wilson Sept. 9, 1989, in Grand Forks.
She worked at East Grand Forks Dental Care and at University of North Dakota EERC as an information processor.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Nichole; her mother, Bette, East Grand Forks; and a sister, Cheryl Gustafson, St. Paul.
Services: 2:30 p.m. Monday in Sharon Lutheran Church, Grand Forks.
Grant Coulter
FOREST RIVER, N.D.-- Grant Coulter, 73, Kasson, Minn., formerly of Forest River, died Tuesday, May 6, 1997.
Grant Coulter was born Aug. 27, 1923, in Forest River, where he grew up and attended school.
He graduated from high school in 1941.
He attended the University of North Dakota.
He joined the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
He returned to UND and completed a degree in business.
He owned a number of welding businesses throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, and Montana, including Coulter Welding in Grand Forks.
He married Elaine Olinger June 27, 1992, in Burnsville, Minn.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Suzan (Mark) Scheresa, Santa Fe, N.M., and Nancy (Ray) Pilmonas, Minnesota City, Minn.; stepdaughters, Deborgh (Kevin) Dohrmann and Tamara (James) Deno, both of Kasson; and six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by brothers, James and Gene.
Services: Were held Friday in St. John's Lutheran Church, Kasson.
Burial: Maple Grove Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Kasson Minnesota Public Library or to the Mayo Foundation for heart research.
Francis `Butch' Staudacher
CROOKSTON -- Francis ``Butch" Staudacher, 83, Westerly, R.I., formerly of Crookston, died Friday, Feb. 14, 1997, in Westerly Health Center.
Francis William Staudacher, was born Feb. 11, 1914, the son of Frank and Beva (Stevens) Staudacher, in Breckenridge, Minn.
He grew up and attended school in Perham, Minn.
He worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps before moving to Fargo, where he worked installing floor coverings.
He married Jean Power July 16, 1938, in Crookston, where they lived.
He worked in construction on military bases in Alaska, Hawaii, and the Island of Quadjalien, during WWII.
He returned to Crookston and opened Crookston Decorators.
He became a volunteer for the Crookston Fire Department June 7, 1953.
He worked as a full-time fireman from 1961 to 1979.
Then he managed the public rest stop in Fisher's Landing, near Fisher, Minn.
Jean Staudacher died March 23, 1993.
In May 1993, he moved to Westerly, and later into Westerly Health Center.
He is survived by daughters, Pat (Allen) Johnstad, Mystic, Conn., Maura (Harry) Olson, Mauwatosa, Wisc., and Linda Dennison, Westbrook, Conn.; six grandchildren; and sisters, Lucille Sebby, Minot, Marjorie Scheidecker, Fergus Falls, Minn., and Mary Sahli, Inver Grove Heights, Minn.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle Sloan.
Services: 2 p.m. Saturday in Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Crookston.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Crookston (Stenshoel-Houske, Crookston).
Sister Marie Imelda Cota
CROOKSTON -- Sister Marie Imelda Cota, 82, Ashby, Minn., formerly of Crookston, died Tuesday, May 12, 1997, in Pelican Lake Health Care Center, Ashby.
Marie Cota was born Jan. 26, 1915, the daughter of Paul and Emelda (Huot) Cota, in Crookston.
She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy, Crookston, in June 1932.
She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Medaille at St. Joseph's Academy in 1933.
She received the garb and her name as Sister Imelda April 25, 1934, and then went to Bourg, France, for her novitiate at the congregation's motherhouse.
She made her first profession of vows there on April 27, 1936, before returning to the U.S. to begin teaching grade school children.
She received a B.A. in education from the College of St. Catherine.
She taught in Argyle, Minn., Minneapolis, Richfield, Minn., West St. Paul, Minn. and Superior and Summerset, Wis.
She taught at St. Joseph's Academy, Crookston in the late 1940s.
In 1968, she taught Catholic Elementary for Crookston Diocesan School System.
From 1973 to 1978, she coordinated first though third grades in religion at St. Peter's CCD Center, in Park Rapids.
She retired in 1995 and moved into Marywood Residence, Crookston.
She is survived by sisters, Mable Mercil, Alice Sirek, Leda Weiland, Mildred Vilven and Sister Raphael Cota; and brothers, Lyzum, Medi, Delore, Edward and Leo.
She is preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Services: 2 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of the Marywood Residential Community, Crookston.
Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. today with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service, all in the chapel.
Memorials are suggested to the Sisters of St. Joseph Retirement Center.

Berniece Sophia Johnson, 89, formerly of Wales, N.D., and Grand Forks, died Saturday, April 26, 1997, at her son's home in Anoka, Minn.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Ny Stavanger Free Lutheran Church, Buxton, N.D. (Kundsvig-Baker, Buxton).

Delores Burthwick
RED LAKE FALLS, Minn. -- Delores Burthwick, 67, Red Lake Falls, died Thursday, April 24, 1997, at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Red Lake Falls.
Delores Hince was born June 22, 1929, the daughter of Theodore and Lillian (Riel) Hince, in Lambert Township, Red Lake County, Minn.
She married Kenneth Burthwick June 22, 1951, in Larimore, N.D.
They lived in Larimore and Hallock and Brooks, Minn. In 1979, they moved to Red Lake Falls.
She worked at Arctic Cat, Thief River Falls.
She is survived by sons, George (Rita), Oklee, Minn., Jeff, Mentor, Minn., and Kelly (Candace), Red Lake Falls; daughters, Judy Champagne, Oklee, and Debbie Violette, McIntosh, Minn.; 16 grandchildren; her mother, Brooks; brothers, Willard, Thief River Falls, and Russell, Brooks; a sister, Evangiline Grove, Brooks.
Services: Were in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Brooks.
Burial: St. Joseph Church Cemetery (Petterson, Red Lake Falls).
