MINOT -- Ed Moldenhauer, 88, Minot, died Jan. 19, 1997, in a Minot hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Goodrich, with burial in Goodrich Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky.

Ed was born Nov. 26, 1908, near Goodrich, to Ferdinand and Mathilda Moldenhauer. He married Lillian Dockter, April 7, 1930, at McClusky. He ranched in the Denhoff area most of his life before moving to Minot.

He was a member of United Methodist Church in Goodrich.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian; one son and daughter-in-law, Clyde and Carol, Minot; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Arthur and John, both of Bismarck.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ida Sperry; and one brother, Otto.

Theophil Neumiller
TURTLE LAKE -- Theophil Neumiller, 73, Turtle Lake, died Jan. 19, 1997, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake, with burial in Turtle Lake Cemetery.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joann and Thomas Anderson, Minneapolis, Joyce and Steven Ringer, Andover, Minn.; one son, Frederick, Turtle Lake; two stepdaughters and one stepson-in-law, Delma Schell, Bismarck, and Verdell and Wesley Vossler, Fridley, Minn.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his mother, Katherine Neumiller, Bismarck; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ted and Alice, Turtle Lake, and Harold and Marlys, Bismarck; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Ruth and Ted Kurle, Mercer, Ruby Schlafman, Stanton, and Martha and Reuben Schlafman, Jamestown; and many nieces and nephews. Christina Woehl
KULM -- Christina Woehl, 92, Kulm, died Jan. 20, 1997, in the Edgeley nursing home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kulm Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Alice Buerkley, Kulm, Ida Fregien, Ellendale, and Pearlene Koenig, Marietta, Ga.; and one sister, Emilia Helfenstien, Ashley. (Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Kulm)

Margaret McGrew-Sazak
Margaret McGrew-Sazak, Phoenix, died Jan. 12, 1997, in a Phoenix hospital. Services were held Jan. 16 with burial in National Veteran's Cemetery, Phoenix.

She is survived by her husband, Mike; two sisters, Ann VerDouw, Bismarck, and Antoinette Ives, Minneapolis; and one brother, Al DeCrans, Park Rapids, Minn.

Jacob Robert Jerry
Jacob Robert Jerry, the three-day-old son of Kirk and Donna Jerry, Wing, died Jan. 19, 1997, in a Bismarck hospital. Memorial services will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Sunne Lutheran Church, rural Wilton, with the Rev. Paul Schauer officiating.

Jacob is survived by his parents; three brothers, Jason, Jordan and Jeffrey; three sisters, Annie, Trisha and Katie; his grandparents, Carol Johnson, and Robert and Sharon Jerry, all of Wisconsin; and many aunts and uncles. (Eastgate Funeral Service)

Alvin Moos
BEULAH -- Alvin Edward Moos, 78, Beulah, died Jan. 19, 1997, at his home of natural causes. Services will be at 2 p.m. MST Thursday at Beulah Congregational Church, with burial in Gluekstal Cemetry, rural Beulah.

He is survived by his wife, Frieda; one daughter, Irene, Bismarck; four sisters, Edna Sprunk, Enderlin, Ella Heinle, Glen Ullin, Ina Gackle, Circle, Mont., and Elaine Lennick, Bismarck; and two brothers, Edward and Walter, both of Mandan. (Seibel Funeral Home, Beulah)

BOWDON -- Emma Hoff, 64, Bowdon, died Jan. 20, 1997, in the Harvey hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bowdon Lutheran Church, with burial in Wayside Cemetery, Bowdon.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest; one daughter, Donyta Hoff, Bowdon; two sons, Wendell and James, both of Bowdon; seven sisters, Lydia Morlock, Frieda Watson, Iola Rask, Elsie Schock and Bertha Huss, all of Carrington, Alvina Hoff, Bowdon, and Alice Reidel, Parkers Prairie, Minn.; and four brothers, John Jr., Carrington, Lawrence, Jamestown, Clarence, Vancouver, Wash., and Jakie, Oak Harbor, Wash. DICKINSON -- Austin Jerome Messer, the infant son of Jason Messer and Kelley Donelson, Dickinson, died Jan. 20, 1997, in a Minneapolis hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. MST Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Richardton. Further arrangements are pending at Mischel-Olson Chapel, Dickinson.

Caroline Nybo
YORK -- Caroline M. Nybo, 90, York, died Jan. 21, 1997, in a Minot hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Petri Lutheran Church, rural York, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Roald; two sons, Donald, York, and Lee, Grand Forks; and one sister, Palma Blegen, Leeds. (Nelson Funeral Home, Leeds)

Adam Schumacher
ASHLEY -- Services for Adam Schumacher, 75, Ashley, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hague, with the Monsignor Wendelyn Vetter and the Rev. Frank Miller officiating. He died Jan. 20, 1997, in a Bismarck hospital.

Visitation will be at the church after 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

Adam was born April 28, 1921, on the family homestead 11 miles northwest of Venturia to John P. and Julia (Geffre) Schumacher. This is where he grew up and attended school. After starting to farm on the home farmstead, Adam married to Barbara Glatt, Oct. 19, 1943, in Hague. They were involved in grain farming and milking. In 1956 they built a 50-stall barn with modern equipment. Unfortunately it burned down in May 1962, but was quickly replaced with a new one with the help of many friends, family and neighbors. In 1973 they sold the dairy cattle and got into raising beef cattle. In 1986, their youngest son, Dean, took over the farming operation, and they moved to Ashley. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at Hague in 1993 with many friends and family.

He is survived by his wife; nine children; and three siblings.

Daniel Peyer
MOTT -- Daniel D. Peyer, 64, Mott, died Jan. 23, 1997, at Mott. Services will be at 7 p.m. MST Saturday at Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home, Mott, with burial in Bethany Lutheran Cemetery, Robinson.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne; four sons, Bob, Conifer, Colo., Bill, Larkspur, Colo., David, Washburn, and Michael, Springfield, Ill.; two daughters, Deborah Holland, Mott, and Kathy Hickcox, Minneapolis; three brothers, Roger Peyer, Warner Robins, Ga., Robert Peyer, Petaluma, Calif., and Ernie Peyer, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; and one sister, Doris Stroh, Harloweton, Mont.

DICKINSON -- Betty Boespflug, 90, Dickinson, died Jan. 21, 1997, in a Dickinson nursing home. Services will be at 1 p.m. MST Saturday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson, with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Dickinson.

Beth Carmody, 82, Prairie Du Chien, Wis., died Jan. 23, 1997, in the Prairie Du Chien hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church, Prairie Du Chien, with burial in the St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery, Mount Hope, Wis.

She is survived by one brother, Paul Carmody, Prairie Du Chien; and one sister, Mary Walker, Mandan. (Garrity Funeral Home, Prairie Du Chien)
