WILLISTON -- Margie Parry, 64, Williston, died May 25, 1997, in me, Williston.

Catherine Fischer
Catherine Fischer, 67, Strasburg, died May 25, 1997, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg, with the Rev. Leonard Eckroth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, where a rosary will be said at 7:30 tonight. Visitation will continue at the church one hour before services.

Catherine was born Jan. 31, 1930, at Linton, the daughter of Lorenz and Elizabeth (Zahn) Roehrich. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Bismarck in 1947. She attended Valley City State College and taught rural schools in Emmons County for a number of years. On June 15, 1954, she married Lawrence J. "Buddy" Fischer at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Krassna. They farmed 20 miles southwest of Linton. In 1963 they moved to a farm near Staples, Minn. In 1968 they moved to a farm 13 miles west of Strasburg. Mr. Fischer died in May 1995. In October 1995, Catherine moved to Bismarck. For the past two years she has lived in the Strasburg nursing home and at Bismarck.

She was active in church and community activities. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She liked cooking, gardening, crocheting and fishing. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and entertaining family and friends.

She is survived by one son, Gerald, Bismarck; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Jay Larson, Wahpeton, and Becky and Richard Selzler, Bismarck; five grandchildren, Laura and Karen Larson, Jesse and Samantha Nieuwsma, and Nicole Selzler; two brothers, John Sr., Aberdeen, S.D., and Steve, Buena Park, Calif.; and four sisters, Betty Padlo, Norridge, Ill., Regina Roehrich, Jamestown, Jenny Brown, Linton, and Bernie Kliem, Bismarck.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son, Mathias; five brothers; and one sister.

Kenneth Swanson
Kenneth M. Swanson, 57, Apple Valley, Minn., died May 24, 1997, at his home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Historic Fort Snelling Chapel, Minneapolis.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, Bradley, St. Paul, Minn., and Kelly, Apple Valley; one brother, Gary, Chattanooga, Tenn.; and his parents, Melvin and Lillian Swanson, Rugby.

Ruby Sorensen
GARRISON -- Ruby L. Sorensen, 76, Garrison, died May 26, 1997, in the Garrison nursing home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Garrison. Further arrangements are pending at Thompson Funeral Home, Garrison.

Leonard Hagen
EPPING -- Leonard Hagen, 63, Epping, died May 25, 1997, in his home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church, Williston, with burial in Hillside Memory Gardens, Williston.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma; three sons, Ronald, John and Neil; two daughters, Phyllis Sylte and Vonda Syverson; and one sister, Jean Barr, Mandan. (Everson Funeral Home, Williston)

Rudo Kappes
ASHLEY -- Services for Rudo Kappes, 73, Ashley, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Ashley. He died May 26, 1997, in the Ashley nursing home. Further arrangements are pending at Carlsen Funeral Home, Ashley.

Delmar Allan
Delmar B. Allan, 61, Mandan, died May 26, 1997, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan, with the Revs. Cyprian Meier and David Morman officiating.

Visitation will be 1-9 p.m. Thursday at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, where a parish vigil will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Delmar was born Oct. 10, 1935, at Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of Edward and Maude (Rippenbark) Allan. Delmar was raised and educated at Fort Frances where he attended Fort Frances High School. He married Cory Freitag April 18, 1966, in Bismarck. He worked in International Falls, Minn., at the paper mill for 10 years. He then moved to Bismarck where he worked for Burlington Northern Railroad as a track inspector for 30 years.

He was a member of Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Lodge No. 306, and held the office of secretary-treasurer.

Delmar was very family oriented, his family always came first. He was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. He loved to spend time with his precious grandchildren. He was an avid hockey follower. He enjoyed playing cards along with a good cup of coffee. His favorite activity was going to rummage sales and collecting antiques.

He is survived by his wife, Cory; three sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Lisa, and Scott and Brenda, all of Mandan, and Kevin and Nora, Lawrence, Kan.; one daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Jeff Heider, McCanna; three grandchildren, Tyler Allan, and Jaden and Jillian Heider; four sisters, Irene Kuzyk, Prince George, British Columbia, Canada, Vivian Johnson, Missoula, Mont., Mary Garon, Fort Frances, and Joan Huether, Bismarck; and a special nephew, Ronnie Johnson, Oshawa, Ontario.

He was preceded in death by one son, Bruce; two brothers, Raymond and Jim; and two sisters, Shirley and Merle; and his parents, Edward and Maude.

Melford Undjhem
WILLISTON -- Melford E. Undjhem, 86, Williston, died May 26, 1997, in the Williston hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Williston, with burial in Flaxton Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Ella; and one sister, Ethel Anderson, Williston. (Everson Funeral Home, Williston)

John Doyle
John Doyle, 73, St. Paul, Minn., died May 24, 1997, in Little Canada, Minn. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Basilica of St. James, Jamestown, with burial Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown.

He is survived by his wife, Genevieve; six daughters, Jeanne Lawrence, New Brighton, Minn., Rayanne Dahl, Morgantown, W.V., Pamela Schwind, Newport, Minn., Genny Lindberg, Jamestown, Gail Doyle, Newport, and Lisa Doyle, Grafton; three sons, John, Fargo, and David and Matt, both of St. Paul; and two sisters, Vernell Erickson, Jamestown, and Audrey Barnes, Tioga. Gustave Hermann
DICKINSON -- Gustave Hermann, 79, Dickinson, died May 24, 1997, at his home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Wednesday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dickinson, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Marie Ruff, Silver Springs, Fla.; two sons, Gary, Minot, and Gerald, Madison Lake, Minn.; one brother, Alfred, Dickinson; and six sisters, Elsie Smith, St. Helens, Ore., Esther Bedient, Eugene, Ore., Amy Boelke, Viola Daoust and Ruth McLagan, all of Portland, Ore., and Alvina Hermann, Hebron, Neb. Florence Anton
DICKINSON -- Florence Anton, 73, Dickinson, died May 26, 1997, in the Dickinson hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Dickinson, with burial in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, rural Mandan.

She is survived by her husband, Matt; one daughter, Sharon Jordan, Landing, N.J.; and one brother, Peter Baseflug, Denver. (Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson)

Donna Wickstrom

Donna Wickstrom, 47, Morris, Minn., died May 22, 1997, in Morris. Services were held May 24 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Alberta, Minn., with burial in Summit Cemetery, Morris.

Donna Ann Anderson, the daughter of Walter P. and Dorothy (Mogensen) Anderson, was born Oct. 26, 1949, at Morris. She grew up and received her education in Cyrus, Minn., graduating from Cyrus High School in 1967. On Aug. 7, 1977, she was married to Andrew O. Wickstrom in Immanuel Lutheran Church at Starbuck, Minn. They lived in the Morris area.

She is survived by her husband, Andy; one daughter, Carrie Wickstrom, Morris; two stepsons, Charles Wickstrom and Timothy Wickstrom, both of Bismarck; two stepdaughters and stepsons-in-law, Tammy and Rob Huft, and Rebecca and Roger Fenster, all of Bismarck; three step-grandchildren; her mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Kenneth Brevig, Starbuck; one sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Daryle Toft, Clarkfield, Minn.; two sisters-in-law, Shirley and her husband, Dick Reynolds, Morris, and Betty Anderson, Cyrus; three aunts; one uncle; one niece; and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Anderson; and her grandparents. (Pedersen Funeral Home, Morris)

DICKINSON -- Christine Haag, 87, Dickinson, died May 27, 1997, in the Dickinson hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. MDT Saturday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson. Further arrangements are pending at Mischel-Olson Chapel, Dickinson.

Margie Parry
WILLISTON -- Margie Parry, 64, Williston, died May 25, 1997, in her home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Everson Funeral Home, Williston, with burial in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Helena, Mont.

She is survived by four sons, Dave, John, Jim and Ervin, all of Helena; two daughters, Terri Cox and Stella Normandy, both of Helena; two sisters, Donna Laslovich and Betty Mayo; and one brother, Kenny Schwab.

Nii McAddy
Nii "Mike" McAddy, 42, 1829 San Diego Drive, died May 25, 1997, in Austin, Texas, of natural causes. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Mark Bayert officiating.

Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Thursday at Bismarck Funeral Home, and will continue at the church one hour before services.

Katie Faul
HARVEY -- Katie Faul, 93, Harvey, died May 26, 1997, in the Harvey hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Harvey, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Robert, Harvey; and three daughters, Janice Muscha and Theresa Graumann, both of Harvey, and Karen Faul, Bismarck. (Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey)

Marion Zaste
TRENTON -- Marion Jeanette Zaste, 70, Trenton, died May 27, 1997, in the Williston hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Williston, with burial in Trenton Cemetery.

She is survived by five daughters, Donna Conradsen, Savage, Mont., Mary Falcon, Shelley Williams, Theresa Zaste and Mona Durward, all of Trenton; eight sons, William and Fred, both of Williston, Albert, Westhope, Robert, Gerald, Darryl and Dan, all of Trenton, and John, Lincoln; one brother, Lloyd Falcon, Trenton; and one sister, Florence Wegley, Williston. Luella Tremblay
Luella B. Tremblay, 91, formerly of Bismarck, died May 27, 1997, in Port Orchard, Wash. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Lane Cemetery, Port Orchard.

She was born Oct. 20, 1905, in Lane, S.D., and graduated from high school in Wessington Springs, S.D. Luella was a music teacher and homemaker most of her life.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Bird, Port Orchard; and one brother, Stan McCurdy, Port Orchard. (Pendleton-Gilchrist at Rill Chapel, Port Orchard)

DICKINSON -- Christine Haag, 87, Dickinson, died May 27, 1997, in the Dickinson hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. MDT Saturday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Raymond, Anaheim, Calif., Richard, Dickinson, and David, Eugene, Ore.; two daughters, Shirley Hilgendorf, Cottage Grove, Ore., and Kathy Pankratz, Dickinson; two brothers, Carl and Henry Samek, both of Eugene; and two sisters, Rose Jensen and Lillian Pachl, both of Dickinson.
