LEHR -- Deline Dorothy Brady, 70, Lehr, died Oct. 3, 1996, in her home as a result of a farm accident. Services were held Saturday at Carlsen Funeral Home, Ashley.

She is survived by three sons, Tom, Lehr, Joe, Jamestown, and Paul, Jud.

Henry Schwartz
NAPOLEON -- Henry Schwartz, 80, Napoleon, died Oct. 4, 1996, in the Wishek hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Napoleon, with burial in Napoleon Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Leah; one daughter, Jean Schwartz, Williston; and two brothers, Jake, Dawson, and Albert, Lake Tahoe, Calif. (Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon)

Thomas Held
SELZ -- Thomas Held, 51, Iron Ridge, Wis., formerly of Selz, died Oct. 4, 1996, in Wadsworth, Ill., from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Arrangements are pending at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

William Wruck
NEW LEIPZIG -- William G. "Bill" Wruck, 86, New Leipzig, died Oct. 4, 1996, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, New Leipzig, with burial in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery, rural New Leipzig.

He is survived by two sons, Wayne and William John, both of New Leipzig; one daughter, Barbara Aasness, Bottineau; one brother, Edward, New Leipzig; and one sister, Dorothy Higgins, Billings, Mont. (Hertz Brothers Funeral Home, New Leipzig)

Amy Ricketts
GARRISON -- Amy Ricketts, 100, Garrison, died Oct. 5, 1996, in the Garrison hospital. Arrangements are pending at Thompson Funeral Home, Garrison.

Helen Beaudoin
SOUTH HEART -- Helen V. Mahlmann Beaudoin, 67, South Heart, died Dec. 19, 1997, in Yuma, Ariz. Services will be at 10 a.m. MST Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dickinson, with the Rev. George Dukart officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today at Mischel-Olson Chapel, Dickinson, where a rosary and prayer service will be said at 7 p.m. MST.

Casketbearers will be her grandsons.

Helen Beaudoin, daughter of Alex and Veronica (Mitzel) Fisher was born on Aug. 7, 1930, at Ridgeview, S.D. She was in northern Minnesota for some time and then moved to Werner. She graduated from Werner High School in 1947 and then taught school in rural areas. On Sept. 26, 1949, she married Fredrick Mahlmann. They farmed until Freddie's death on Feb. 12, 1972. Helen and her two youngest children remained on the farm until October 1974, when they moved to Dickinson. On Sept. 24, 1975, she married Lorne Beaudoin. They resided in Dickinson until 1993, when they moved to South Heart. They wintered in Arizona.

She is survived by her husband, Lorne; four daughters and sons-in-law, Gwen and Craig Desmond, Herndon, Va., Greta and Joe Holkup, Underwood, Vickie and Tim Loh, Manning, and Peggy and Kevin Meyer, Fargo; one son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Jo Ann Mahlmann, Bismarck; three step-daughters and one step-son-in-law, Shirley Hunke, Lakewood, Colo., Sharon Schwartz, Bismarck, and Mary Kay and Darrell Berger, Dickinson; 12 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Marie Larson, Jackson, Mich., Kay and Mike McCann, Libby, Mont.; Betty and John Sabol, and Irene and Gene Trinka, all of East Helena, Mont.; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Rosa Fisher, East Helena, Mont., and Leo and Bernice Fisher, Townsend, Mont.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Freddie; her parents; one brother and one sister. (Mischel-Olson Chapel, Dickinson)

Barbara Ficek
DICKINSON -- Barbara Ficek, 88, Dickinson, died Dec. 21, 1997, in Dickinson. Services will be at 11 a.m. MST today at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; one son, Robert; two brothers, Tony Kolar, Taylor, and Joe Kolar, Wisconsin; and one sister, Mary Dvorak. (Mischel-Olson Chapel, Dickinson)

Donald Mann
Donald Mann, 52, Yakima, Wash., formerly of Mandan and Esmond, died Dec. 18, 1997, in Yakima, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in 1996 from which he never recovered. Cremation took place and a memorial service will be held in Yakima.

He is survived by one son, Brian, Yakima; his mother, Theresa Mann, Minot; and two sisters, Lorna Schulter, Missoula, Mont., and Patricia Lang, Minot.

John Aas
John Aas, 30, New York City, N.Y., died Dec. 19, 1997, in New York City from injuries sustained in a fire. A memorial service will be held Jan. 19, 1998, at the Signature Theater in New York City.

He is survived by his wife, Krista Williams; his father, Ralph, Fargo; his mother, Doris Aas, Fargo; three sisters, Ann Eddy, Tacoma, Wash., Amy Aas, San Diego, Calif., and Arlene Christopher, Fargo; and one brother, Alan, Nevis, Minn.

LeRoy Raad
TIOGA -- LeRoy Raad, 71, Tioga, died Dec. 20, 1997, in the Tioga hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church, Tioga. Burial will be in United Cemetery, Tioga.

He is survived by his wife, Marion; one son, Leon, St. Louis Park, Minn.; one sister, Laura Raad, Williston; and one brother, Orlin, Ray. (Everson Funeral Home, WIlliston)

James Schlaht
FARGO -- James E. Schlaht, 65, Fargo, died Dec. 21, 1997, in a Fargo hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Mercer.

He is survived by one son, Timothy, Fargo; two daughters, Rachel Schlaht and Renae Schlittenhard, both of Fargo; his mother, Bertha Schlaht, Bismarck; and one brother, Leo, Spanaway, Wash. (Korsmo Funeral Service, Moorhead, Minn.)

Dorothy Shamburg
Dorothy B. Perkins Shamburg, 76, Tacoma, Wash., and formerly of Scranton, died Dec. 18, 1997, in a Tacoma hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. MST Friday at Krebsbach Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be in Bowman Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Dean, Tacoma; and one brother, Robert Perkins, Scranton. (Krebsbach Funeral Service, Bowman)

Wencil Peterson
DODGE -- Wencil Peterson, 72, Dodge, died Dec. 22, 1997, at his home of natural causes. Services will be at 2 p.m. MST Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Dodge. Further arrangements are pending with Seibel Funeral Home, Beulah.

Martin Adolf
HAZEN -- Martin Adolf, 92, Hazen, died Dec. 22, 1997, in a Beulah nursing home. Services will be at 10 a.m. MST Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church, Hazen. Further arrangements are pending with Seibel Funeral Home, Hazen.

Wilma Teigen
MINOT -- Wilma Teigen, 91, Minot, died Dec. 24, 1997, in a Minot nursing home. Services will be held at 10-30 a.m. Saturday at Oak Valley Lutheran Church, Velva, with burial in Velva Cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Lloyd, Helena, Mont., and Duane, Washburn; four daughters, Mavis Netzloff, Velva, Ione Klimpel, Minot, Beverly Ballantyne, Oak Grove, Mo., and Donna Drab, Hephzibah, Ga.; and one brother, George Carpenter, Butte, Mont. (Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot)

Mae Snezek
MOTT -- Mae Snezek, 82, Mott, died Dec. 23, 1997, in the Hettinger hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. MST Saturday at Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home, Mott, with burial in Andrew Spurlock Cemetery, Griffithsville, W.V.

She is survived by one daughter, Pat Olien, Mott; and two sisters, Mamie Turlington, Waldorf, Md., and Willena Wade, Roanoke, Va.

George Burgard
HARVEY -- George Burgard, 88, Harvey, died Dec. 24, 1997, in his home. Arrangements are pending at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

Regina Reimann
GARRISON -- Regina Reimann, 83, Garrison, died Dec. 23, 1997, in the Garrison hospital. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at First United Church of Christ, Garrison. Further arrangements are pending at Thompson Funeral Home, Garrison.

Bill Baier
HAZEN -- Bill Baier, 76, Hazen, died Dec. 22, 1997, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. MST Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church, Hazen, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by two daughters, Harriet Maas, Hazen, and Ruth Reitan, Bottineau; one son, Harold, Bismarck; and two sisters, Lydia Karlin, Billings, Mont., and Regina Hildebrand, Hazen. (Seibel Funeral Home, Hazen)

Donald Mann
Donald Mann, 52, Yakima, Wash., formerly of Mandan, died in Yakima, Dec. 18, 1997. He was badly injured in a motorcycle accident in August 1996 and never recovered from his injuries.

He is survived by one son, Brian, Yakima; his mother, Theresa Mann, Minot; and two sisters, Lorna Schulter, Missoula, Mont., and Patricia Lang, Minot.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in Yakima.

Carl Steffen
DICKINSON -- Carl Herbert Steffen, 62, Dickinson, died Dec. 23, 1997, in the Dickinson hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MST Saturday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dickinson, with burial in Killdeer Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen; one daughter, Susan Knutson, Dunn Center; three sons, Paul, Glenn and Duane, all of Dickinson; five brothers, Irvin, Deer Park, Wash., Henry, Crookston, Minn., Walter, Killdeer, David, Ukiah, Calif., and John, Sandstone, Va.; and five sisters, Viola Lundberg, Killdeer, Rose Thompson, Fairview, Mont., Dorothy Johnson, Michigan, Elaine Carsen, Beulah, and Connie Connolly, Watford City. Wencil Peterson
DODGE -- Wencil Peterson, 72, Dodge, died Dec. 22, 1997, in his home of natural causes. Services will be held at 2 p.m. MST Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Dodge, with the Rev. Karin Derenne officiating. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery, rural Dodge.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Zarr, Jim Johnson, Victor Goetz, Bernard Kohn, Edwin Miller, Elmer Meissel, Ervin Lorenz, Bill Martin, Anton Kukla, Ivan Loeffelbein and Wencil's many other friends. Active pallbearers will be Joel Huber, Kenny Richau, Clayton Beckman, Marvin Sutheimer, Duane Keller and Curt Brinkman.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Seibel Funeral Home, Beulah.

Wencil V. Peterson was born Dec. 7, 1925, at Glenwood, Minn., a son of Pete and Lillian (Berg) Peterson. He was raised and educated in the Werner area. He began trucking at the age of 17, hauling livestock and grain. At the age of 19, he started Peterson Trucking and has been trucking ever since. On Aug. 31, 1955, he married Virginia Roll in Hebron. Wencil's pride and joy was his trucking and he loved dealing with the people. His hobby was his farm and he loved playing cards, singing, dancing and playing harmonica and guitar.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; one son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Connie, Fairview, Mont.; two daughters and sons-in-law, DeEtta and Don Hetzler, Hazen, and L'nette "Punky" and Russ Stein, Taylor; six grandchildren, Christin, Stacey, Tyler, Cody, Kaylee and McKinzee; four brothers, Cecil, Loveland, Colo., Julian, Sauk Rapids, Minn., Virgil, Clarksville, Tenn., and Don, Redding, Calif.; and two sisters, Avis Fisher, Helena, Mont., and Yvonne Bowen, Theilman, Minn.

Wencil was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, LeaAnn; one son, Dale; and one brother, Glen.

Ann Beckler
Ann Beckler, 82, formerly of 405 Third Ave. N.E., Mandan, died Dec. 23, 1997, in the Mandan nursing home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Mandan, with burial in Mandan Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday, followed by a parish vigil at 7:30.

Ann was born Oct. 28, 1915, in St. Anthony, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Anna (Leingang) Bullinger. She was raised and educated in St. Anthony. On Oct. 7, 1935, she married Nick Beckler, in St. Anthony. In 1935 they moved to Mandan. Nick died March 13, 1986. Ann had been a resident of Medcenter One Care Center since July 1996.

She was greatly loved, and will be deeply missed by those who survive her, including one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Carol, Thornton, Colo.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Paul Small, Moffit, Alice and Marvin Schroeder, Thornton, and Nadine and Jack Sitter, Crookston, Minn.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Adam, Little Falls, Minn., and Anton, John and William, all of Mandan; and one sister, Anna Marie Taix, Mandan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nick; four brothers; and seven sisters.

Martha Gaub
TUTTLE -- Martha Gaub, 83, Tuttle, died Dec. 23, 1997, at her home. Services will be held at 10-30 a.m. Monday, at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown. Burial will be in Tuttle Cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Lawrence, Elma, Wash., Robert, Jamestown, and Lester, Tuttle; four sisters, Catherine Kolberg, Harvey, Frieda Guthmiller, Elizabeth Guthmiller and Violet Gruebele, all of Pettibone; and three brothers, Reinhold and Harry Schmidt, both of Robinson, and Reuben Schmidt, Jamestown. Jeanette Pellenwessel
MINOT -- Jeanette Pellenwessel, 52, Minot, died Dec. 25, 1997, in a Minot hospital. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot. Further arrangements are pending with Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Hilda Kelstrom
FLASHER -- Hilda Kelstrom, 84, Flasher, died Dec. 25, 1997, in a Bismarck nursing home. Arrangements are pending with Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan.
