Donna Marie Kern
Donna Marie (Piltingsrud) Kern, 56, died July 30, 2000, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with the Revs. Jeff Franko and Lisa Ahlness officiating, and at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Callender, Iowa, on Aug. 4, 2000, at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Callender Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. today at Bismarck Funeral Home. Donna was born Sept. 24, 1943, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Burnett and Elizabeth (Lee) Piltingsrud. She graduated from high school in Callender and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minn., and a masters degree in nursing from Montana State University, Bozeman, Mont. She was united in marriage to Wayne Kern on June 16, 1979, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Callender. They made their home in Bismarck. Donna's nursing career took her to many states including Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Minnesota, and the last 20 years in Bismarck. Her positions included staff nurse, nursing supervisor and director of nursing. She was employed at St. Alexius Hospital, and more recently, with the Bismarck-Burleigh Nursing Service. In 1997, she was recognized as the North Dakota Public Health Association's Worker of the Year. Donna was a volunteer for many organizations including Lord of Life Lutheran Church, the American Cancer Society, and the March of Dimes. In 1996, she was awarded a March of Dimes National Volunteer Leadership Award. Donna is survived by her husband, Wayne; her sons, Joshua and John, all of Bismarck; her mother, Elizabeth Piltingsrud, Edina, Minn.; one brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Kathy, St. Paul, Minn.; one sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Garret Geisler, Callender; and nieces and nephews. Her father, Burnett Piltingsrud; and her grandparents, preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the American Cancer Society, Marth of Dimes Baby Things Boutique, or Camp of the Cross Bible Camp. Memorials may be sent in care of Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 1143 N. 26th St., Bismarck, N.D. 58501.

Michael LaBrensz
MCLAUGHLIN, S.D. -- Services will be held for Michael LaBrensz, 45, McLaughlin, were held Monday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, McLaughlin, with the Rev. Bryce Fellbaum officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. LaBrensz died of cancer, July 27, 2000, in a Bismarck hospital. Michael Harold LaBrensz was born Nov. 3, 1954, to Harold and Ramona (Stugelmeyer) LaBrensz in McLaughlin. He grew up in McLaughlin and graduated from McLaughlin High School in 1973. He then went to school at the Wahpeton School of Science in North Dakota and graduated with a degree in welding in 1974. He then lived in Fargo for a short time and worked as a welder. In 1976, he moved back to McLaughlin and farmed and worked for Miller Construction. Michael then moved to Wyoming where he worked in a coal mine before driving truck with Joe Keller for many years. On July 23, 1988, he married Diane Keller in Pierre, S.D., and they had their marriage blessed at Redeemer Lutheran Church in McLaughlin. They then made their home on the ranch which is located 20 miles north of McLaughlin in Sioux County. He has since been living his life long dream of ranching and farming. He enjoyed riding horse and spending time with his livestock. He was a life long member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. He served on the church council for 10 years. He was a member of the Fort Yates Volunteer Fire Department for five years, and was a member of Sioux County Farm Service Agency County Committee for nine years. He is survived by his wife, Diane; one son, Joshua, Bismarck; two stepdaughters, Denise and her fiance, Kenny, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Daniel, McLaughlin; one grandson, Chance, Colorado Springs; one brother, Jeffrey and Denise, Sheyenne; his parents, Harold and Ramona, Mobridge; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ervin and Angeline Keller, Trail City; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Casketbearers were Jerome Laintz, Gary Sandland, Lornie Hach, Dick Hach, Arlo LeBrensz and Luray Biederstedt. Ushers were Bryant Traxinger, Carl Hinsz and Mike Mickelson. Special music was provided by Jessica, Candice, Kim and Stephanie Olson, and they sang "On Eagle's Wings." Jennifer Olson was the organist. The Teens for Jesus sang "Angels Among Us." Congregational hyms were "Children of the Heavenly Father," "Beautiful Savior," "I Was There to Hear Your Borning Cry," and "Now the Green Blade Rises." (Larson's Funeral Home, Mobridge)

Virgil Lee Little
Virgil Lee Little, 83, Minneapolis, died July 29, 2000, in Minneapolis. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bismarck Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tom Dunham officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour before services. Virgil was born March 19, 1917, in Rockhill Township, rural Regan, to James and Viola (Kolb) Little. He worked for Northern Improvement Construction Company until he retired in 1982. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Europe during World War II. He enjoyed hunting and riding motorcycles. Virgil is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Maurice Whitney, Bismarck; four grandchildren, Jay Christensen, Michael Christensen and Patrick Christensen, all of Virginia, and Karen Christensen, Maryland; and eight great-grandchildren. Virgil was preceded in death by his wife, Hulda, who died in 1983; two brothers, Clayton and Clyde; two sisters, Ruth Little and Phyllis Batterberry; and his parents.

Louise Magnuson
CARRINGTON -- Louise Magnuson, 91, Carrington, died July 29, 2000, in the Carrington health center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Church of the Nazarene, Carrington, with burial in Carrington Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Albert; two sons, Rodney, Carrington, and Dean, Grand Forks; one daughter, Karen Morris, Fessenden; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Montgomery, New Rockford, and Betty Rau, Fallon; and one brother, Duane Grover, Houston, Texas. Ruth Makeeff
TURTLE LAKE -- Ruth Makeeff, 86, Federal Way, Wash., formerly of Turtle Lake, died July 27, 2000, in Auburn, Wash. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Turtle Lake Baptist Church, with burial in Turtle Lake Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Wayne, Des Moines, Iowa, and James, San Jose, Calif.; one daughter, Mary Makeeff, Federal Way; six grandchildren; and two brothers, Clinton Hovis, North Carolina, and Wilson Hovis, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Hazel Moxley
BEULAH -- Hazel Moxley, 90, formerly of Beulah, died July 21, 2000, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. A family memorial service was held July 26, 2000, at the gravesite of Hazel's mother in Tacoma, Wash. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at United Church of Christ, 1200 E. Highland Acres Road, Bismarck, with the Rev. James Moos officiating. Hazel was born near Blackwater, March 10, 1910, the daughter of George and Eda (Couch) Houghtaling. She attended rural McLean County schools, Garrison High School, Minot and Dickinson State Colleges. She married Murray Moxley, June 20, 1932, in Stanton. They homesteaded in a log cabin along the Missouri River north of Beulah. When the property was taken for the Garrison Dam, they moved to Beulah and later to Hugo, Okla. Upon the death of her husband, Hazel made her home in Canada with her son, M.C. She taught rural schools in McLean, Mercer and McKenzie counties until her retirement. A talented artist and seamstress, she enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies, from gardening, china painting, woodcraft, pottery to all types of sewing including drapery, hat making, quilting and designing clothes. She won first place ribbons for her entries in the Vancouver fairs through age 87. One of 11 children, she is survived by two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jack and Lorice Ryan, Tucson, Ariz., and Charles Houghtaling, Redding, Calif.; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Ella Boswell, Puyallup, Wash., Zuela and Randy Edwards, Tacoma, Wash., and Violet Johnson, Renton, Wash.; her son, M.C. Moxley, Vancouver; one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Elmer Gustafson, Mandan; three grandchildren, Hugh and Sue Gustafson, Stanton, Joel and Denise Gustafson, and Laurie and Jim Foerderer, Bismarck; eight great-grandchildren, Lacy and Jesse Gustafson, Stanton, Nicole, Ryan and Eric Gustafson, Andrew and Michael Sorum, and Adam Foerderer, all of Bismarck.

Ethel Nelson
HARVEY -- Ethel McKinven Nelson, 90, Harvey, died July 31, 2000, in the Harvey medical center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Bethany Lutheran Church, Harvey, with burial in Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann Trippodo, Pine, Ariz., and Hazel Faul and Kathy Wohl, both of Harvey; two sons, Tom and Richard McKinven, both of Harvey; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Darlene Shaw, Columbia, Mo., Hazel Smith, Minot, and Laurene Gutman, Vasse, Australia; and two brothers, Fred and Lester Finneman, both of Great Falls, Mont. Lenhart Neumiller
Lenhart Neumiller, 70, Richmond, Minn., died at his home on July 29, 2000. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bismarck Funeral Home, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Visitation will be held at the church one hour before services. Lenhart was born April 5, 1930, in Mercer, to Gust and Christina (Strobal) Neumiller. He married Edith Barlow on Oct. 30, 1954, in Bismarck. He lived in Bismarck until he moved to Minneapolis in 1969. He moved to Richmond in 1986. He was a truck driver and mover for United Van Lines and Global Van Lines, retiring in 1989. He was a member and past president of Miracle Voice Club of St. Cloud. He is survived by his wife, Edith; daughters and sons, Vivian Neidlinger, Minnetonka, Violet Ellingsworth and Vernon, both of Minneapolis, and Veryl, Richmond; brothers and sisters, Richard, Ella Schon, and Violet Just, all of Bismarck; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vonda; and one granddaughter.

Esther Dewey Olson
Esther Dewey Olson, 88, Bismarck, died at the home of her daughter, Myrt Armstrong, July 30, 2000. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Jeff Tengesdal officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. today at Eastgate Funeral Service, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 tonight. Visitation will continue at the church one hour before services. Known to many as the "doughnut lady" because of her cooking she "taught us all the healing nature of food," according to her daughter, Myrt Armstrong. Esther Elizabeth Dewey Olson was born in Barnesville, Minn., on Sept. 2, 1911, at the home of her grandmother, Emma Leonhardt Brandt. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Leonhardt and Arthur Flecher Dewey, and grew up and attended school in Felton, Minn. Her grandfather, Carl Fredrick Weiss was one of the early settlers in western Minnesota coming from Iowa to start farming on a tree claim of land offered by the Federal Government in 1890. She married Casper Martin Olson from Borup, Minn., on March 12, 1930, in Fergus Falls, Minn. Esther lived most of her adult life in Fargo, working for over 20 years at the Fargo Clinic. When she retired in 1973 she moved to Bismarck to be near her daughter and family. Esther is survived by her two daughters and one son-in-law, Myrt Armstrong, Bismarck, and Beverly and Richard Ferguson, St. Paul, Minn.; six grandchildren, Steven Armstrong and his wife, Connie Jean, Bismarck, Michael Armstrong and his wife, Connie Ann, Dickinson, Kevlyn Pastorius, St. Paul, Craig Armstrong and his wife, Monica, Dickinson, Susan Winkelman and her husband, Mark, Fargo, and Shelly Martel and her husband, Terry, Bismarck; 14 great-grandchildren, Kelly and Jackson Armstrong, Dickinson, Mitchell and Teryl Armstrong, Grand Forks, Justin and James Pastorius, LIvermore, Calif., Sylvia Armstrong, Gillette, Wyo., Jeremy Armstrong, Dickinson, Tyler and Steven Winkelman, Fargo, Ciara and Jake Martel, Bismarck, Jesse and Lacey Armstrong, Bismarck, and Sarah Pastorius, St. Paul; one great-great-grandchild, Brendan Edward Velander, born July 17, 2000; and many extended family and friends. Christine H. Schatz, 86, Mesa, Ariz., died July 29, 2000, in Mesa. There will be no services at this time. She is survived by one daughter, Doris Schlichenmayer; two sons, Virgil and DeVerne Schatz; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. (Mesa Funeral Care)

MANDAREE -- Wayne White Body Jr., 41, Mandaree, died July 27, 2000, in a Minot hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Vera C. Dooley
HENSLER -- Vera C. Dooley, 68, Raytown, Mo., died Aug. 1, 2000. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Blue Ridge United Methodist Church, with burial at 1 p.m. Saturday in Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, Iowa. Vera was born Nov. 10, 1931, at Hensler, one of a set of identical twins. She graduated from Mandan High School in 1950. She married W. Glenn Dooley on Aug. 15, 1952. She was a member of McCabe United Methodist Church in Bismarck, and would later become an active member of Blue Ridge United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Mo., where she was involved in the Builders Sunday school class, United Methodist Women and Ruth Circle. Vera was a resident of Raytown for 25 years. She retired Jan. 1, 1999, from many years of government service, the latest being the Environmental Protection Agency. She also belonged to the Prairie Dulcimer Club and the Mid-America Packard Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Vera Urquhart; her twin sister; and three brothers. She is survived by W. Glenn Dooley; her children, William J. Dooley, Richmond, Mo., Col. Michael J. Dooley, Carlisle, Pa., and Susan M. Stockdell and her husband, Brian L., Scottsdale, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Leah Kathryn, Elizabeth Anne and Erin Kristine Dooley, Karen Ann Dooley, and Alexandra Carrie, Kelly Christina and David Lee Stockdell; and two sisters, Pansy Atwood, Seattle, and Lillian Leggate, Billings, Mont. Abigail Marie Erhardt
Abigail Marie Erhardt, the infant daughter of Jessica Lynn Erhardt, 101 Schlosser Ave., Mandan, died Aug. 1, 2000, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, with the Rev. Patrick Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Abigail is survived by her mother, Jessica; her grandparents, Rocky and Patty Erhardt; her great-grandparents, Jack Erhardt, and Orville and Darlene Hanson; her great-great-grandmother, Katherine Barnhardt; her aunt, Jenny Erhardt; and her uncle and aunt, James and Carrie Erhardt, all of Mandan. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Marcella Erhardt.

Florence N. Frandsen
Florence N. Frandsen, 84, died July 31, 2000, in her home in Mandan. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan, with the Rev. Richard Hagestuen officiating. Burial will be in Sanger Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan. Florence was born Feb. 8, 1916, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of C.M. and Dagmar (Jensen) Frandsen. She lived in Oliver County for most of her life, with the exception of two years spent in Grand Coulee, Wash. She moved to Mandan in 1973. Florence enjoyed life in the country and loved farm animals. She is survived by two sisters, Myrtle Lukecart, McCall, Idaho, and Mary F. Johnston, Sherwood, Ore.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Stanley and Roy Frandsen.

John G. Grenz
NAPOLEON -- John G. "Custer" Grenz, 83, Napoleon, died Aug. 3, 2000, in the Wishek hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Salem United Methodist Church, Napoleon, with the Rev. Ronn Wilke officiating. Burial will be in Napoleon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon, and will continue at the church one hour before services. Custer was born May 29, 1917, on the family farm in Campbell County, near Artas, S.D., the son of Gottlieb and Christina (Wentz) Grenz. Custer was 9 years old when the family moved to Napoleon, where he grew up. Custer attended and graduated from Napoleon High School and went on to attend Valley City State Teachers College, graduating in 1941. Custer married Irene Wittmier on July 26, 1942, at Napoleon. They purchased and moved to a homestead farm in the Streeter Flat area in 1943. In 1954, they moved to Napoleon, where they operated a restaurant, Irene's Cafe, and he became known as a "sidewalk" farmer. Custer continued to farm until he retired at the age of 65. Since 1978 they have made their winter home in Mesa, Ariz. Custer was active in city affairs serving on the Napoleon City Council for several years. He was selected as a Napoleon High School Alumni of the Year recipient in 1996. He wrote articles for the Napoleon Homestead under the byline "Findings By John G. 'Custer' Grenz." He was an avid antique collector over the years attending most auctions in the tri-state area. He had a special interest in threshing machines and his collection graced the hills three miles east of Napoleon for many years, and they were featured in the March 1987 issue of National Geographic Magazine and Dakota Day Trips. Custer still owned the first tractor that he purchased, which was a 1943 model John Deere "B." He was an avid sports athlete and fan, having participated in both basketball and track. He was proud of the fact that his son and grandson also played basketball for Napoleon High School. Survivors include his wife, Irene Grenz, Napoleon; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Harley and Gloria Grenz, Napoleon, and Steve Grenz, Cheyenne, Wyo.; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and James Strand, Bismarck; nine grandchildren, Mike Grenz, Candice Nelson, Cindy Steiner, Kelly Grenz, Ashley Grenz, Kayla Grenz, Ryan Strand, Krista Strand and Jessica McLella; three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Cody and Christylynne Grenz; one brother and sister-in-law, Willie and Lorene Grenz, Mesa; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Grenz, Lehr, and Marie Grenz, St. Paul, Minn.; two brothers-in-law, Harley Kiesz, Lodi, Calif., and Erv Meyer, Denver. He was preceded in death by one son, Gene Grenz, in 1962; his parents; two brothers, Eugene and Albert; and three sisters, Ida Kiesz, Christine Hoen and Elsie Meyer.

Ronald F. Harsh
Ronald F. Harsh, 73, Mandan, died Aug. 1, 2000, in Detroit Lakes, Minn. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church, Mandan, with burial in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, south of Mandan. Ronald Fay Harsh was born April 14, 1927, in Osakis, Minn., one of six children, including an identical twin brother, Don, born to Howard and Elizabeth (House) Harsh. He graduated from Osakis High School in 1945, and served in the U.S. Army for two years. Upon discharge, he enrolled at St. Cloud (Minn.) State University, majoring in education. He graduated in 1950 and began his teaching career while courting Hope Hanes, who became his wife on Jan. 5, 1952, in Long Prairie, Minn. Hope and Ron were the proud adoptive parents of James "Jim" and Janet "Jani" Harsh. Jim and Jani were their lifelong love and purpose. Ron taught junior high history and math in the Mandan School District for 21 years, also earning a master of arts degree in educational administration in 1961 from North Dakota State University. In 1972, Ron became a school administrator in Mandan and continued to serve in that capacity until his retirement in 1985. Ron will be remembered for his spirited and fulfilling life. He worked in the Mandan School District for 35 years and many will remember his encouragement in class or on the tennis and basketball courts. He wanted kids to be the best they could be, especially by hiring and working with the less fortunate and disabled. He had a long history of public service with local community organizations. He directed the Neighborhood Youth Corps, commanded the American Legion, lead the Masonic Lodge and served as patron of the Eastern Star. He also served his country during World War II in Europe. Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout his life. As a youth, he guided tourists on Lake Osakis and learned how to clean fish with lightning speed. He was also renowned for his ability to keep cars running. Most of all, he loved, nurtured, supported and cared for his family. He devoted his love to his soulmate and wife, Hope, for 48 years. He is survived by his wife, Hope; his children, Jim Harsh and his wife, Joan, Egeland, and Jani Wacker and her husband, Grant, St. Paul, Minn.; and Jim's children, Michael, Bobbi, Heidi and Andrew. He is also survived by his sister, Evelyn Kramer, Lake Elmo, Minn.; and his identical twin brother, Donald Harsh, Lake Park, Minn. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, James Lockwood, Darrell Harsh and Howard Harsh. (Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan)

TURTLE LAKE -- Kevin L. Hochsprung, 40, Turtle Lake, died Aug. 2, 2000, from injuries in an automobile-train accident east of Ross. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake, with burial in Turtle Lake Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mechelle; four children, Crystal and Carmen Hochsprung, both of Rugby, Charlaine LaCount and B.J. Letterman, both of Turtle Lake; his parents, Ted and Darlene Hochsprung, Ruso; two sisters, Karla Erickson, Ruso, and Kimm Sundal, Brookings, S.D.; and two brothers, Kirk and Kory, both of Minot. Lane R. Johnson
WASHBURN -- Lane R. Johnson, 24, Washburn, died peacefully Aug. 2, 2000, in his parents' home at Washburn after a six-week battle with cancer. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. CDT Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Washburn, with the Rev. Bradley Brauer officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. MDT Saturday in Werner Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Goetz Funeral Home, Washburn, and will continue at the church one hour before services. Lane Roger Johnson was born Nov. 23, 1975, in Bismarck, to Howard and Elda (Kisse) Johnson. He grew up in Washburn and graduated from Washburn High School in 1994, where he was active in football, basketball and music. After graduation, he fulfilled a lifelong dream of going to Australia, where he played football in the Down-Under Bowl. He also played in the first North Dakota-Montana All Star Football Game, and in the North Dakota Shrine Bowl. He attended Bismarck State College and studied elementary education and criminal justice. While at BSC, he played basketball for the Mystics and also was an assistant girls basketball coach. He had been employed by Bis-Man Security for three years, and most recently had been employed by Dakota Fence Co. He enjoyed hobbies of boating and water skiing. He loved music, nature, his Siberian Husky, Jasmine, and the wide open spaces, and also spending time with family and friends. His greatest love was spending time with his son, Maverek. He is survived by his parents, Howard and Elda Johnson, Washburn; one son, Maverek; one sister and brother-in-law, Heidi and Terry Strobel, Denhoff; his fiancee, Lisa Auch, Bismarck; and his grandmother, Ruth Johnson, Hazen. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roger Johnson, and Daniel and Nettie Kisse.

Rose M. Karsky
DICKINSON -- Rose M. Karsky, 86, Dickinson, died Aug. 2, 2000, in a Dickinson care center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Saturday at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, New Hradec, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Mildred Kessel, Belfield, and Mary Kay Miller, Regent; one sister, Emma Privratsky, Dickinson; one brother, Vincent Chalupnik, Graceville, Minn.; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Hulda Moench
WISHEK -- Hulda Moench, 90, Wishek, died Aug. 1, 2000, in the Wishek nursing home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Victor, Seymour, Ill., and Dale, Devils Lake; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frieda Rudolf, Lehr, and Ernestine Rudolf, Wishek; and one brother, Henry Ketterling, Zeeland.
