A creator of crafts, she delighted in making cuddly toys for the delight of children, who were her special friends. Sister Tilberta worked with steadfast determination and was equally faithful in observance of her monastic vocation. She loved her community, her family, and the people with whom she lived. Of the Goertel family, Marie, Tony, John and Clemens preceded her in death. Besides the Sisters of St. Benedict, at Annunciation Monastery, survivors include her brothers, Steve and his wife, Dorothy, Mandan, Sister Cordella, St. Cloud, and two others sisters, Ann Goertel and Frances Edgett, St. Paul, Minn., as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
