CENTER -- Anna Kitzmann, 82, Center, died Oct. 15, 2000 in a Bismarck hospital. Arrangements are pending with Goetz Funeral Home, Washburn.

Joseph K. Krebs
DICKINSON -- Joseph K. Krebs, 75, Dickinson, formerly of New England, died Oct. 14, 2000 at his home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. MDT Tuesday, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Dickinson, with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Dickinson. He is survived by his wife, Louise; 12 children, Marian Jordan, Murfreesboro, Tenn., Steven, Bloomington, Ind., Matt, Dickinson, Frank, Hardin, Mont., Ralph Krebs, Judy Champa and Helen Rummel, all of Dickinson, Jerome, Pierre, S.D., Angie Maershbecker and Lori Hewson, both of New England, Joe, Dickinson, and Ilene Lubick, River Falls, Wis.; 25 grandchildren; four brothers, John F., Bismarck, Nick, Dickinson, Anton J., New England, and Elmer, Dickinson; and four sisters, Violet Dobitz, New England, Sister Rosaleen, Mankato, Minn., Sister Rose Marie, St. Paul, Minn., and Sister Rose Anthony, Springfield, Minn. Albert Magnuson
CARRINGTON -- Albert Magnuson, 93, Carrington, died Oct. 13, 2000 in the Carrington care center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Church of the Nazarene, Carrington, with burial in Carrington Cemetery. He is survived by two sons, Rodney, Carrington, and Dean, Grand Forks; one daughter, Karen Morris, Fessenden; and eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren. Gladys K. Oja
Gladys K. Oja, 79, Buffalo, S.D., died Oct. 14, 2000 in a Miles City, Mont., health center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. MDT Tuesday, at Harding County High School Gymnasium, Buffalo. Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Dean, Buffalo, and Larry, Aledo, Texas; three daughters, Dorothy Mayberry, Miles City, Del Sexton, Belle Fourche, S.D., and Lynn Gilbert, Mitchell, S.D.; two brothers, Mial Stensland, Buffalo, and Gene Stensland, Ludlow, S.D.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Charles Snell
Charles "Chuck" Snell, 61, Bismarck, passed away Oct. 13, 2000 at a Bismarck hospital of a massive brain hemorrhage. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 310 East Avenue A, Bismarck, with the Rev. Todd Hylden officiating. Charles Eric Snell was born on May 1, 1939 in Billings, Mont., the son of Harold and Ellen (Erickson) Snell. He grew up in Billings and Joliet, Mont., graduating from Joliet High School in 1957. He attended Eastern Montana College. As a young man, he worked in auto sales in Billings and Bridger and worked with Clark Fork Ambulance Service. In 1964, he began his 32 year career with Montana-Dakota Utilities Company. He worked in Billings, Mont., Powell, Wyo., Glendive, Mont., Sheridan, Wyo., Jamestown and finally retired as Merchandise Sales Manager in Bismarck in 1996. On Sept. 3, 1988, he married Melinda Herman in Bismarck, where they made their home. Chuck was a member of the Masons and Shriners, and also enjoyed his time as a Shriner Clown. He enjoyed watching the stock market, theatre productions, wood working, and traveling the country in his "land yacht." A gruff, teasing exterior belied a tender heart that held a deep love for his family, friends and Chihuahuas. A pocket full of jelly beans, a wonderful sense of humor and open arms waited all, he never met a stranger. Chuck is survived by his wife, Melinda; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Bob Kelly, Casper, Wyo.; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Larry Miller, Fargo, Rick Snell, Bismarck, and Steve and Sarah Snell, Sheridan, Wyo.; his grandchildren, Teah, Tori, Holly, Jennifer, Ryan, Kristopher Michael, Cameron, Richard Jr., Nicole, Lukas, Jakob, Kristopher Dylan, and one more baby Snell on the way; one great-granddaughter, Justice; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Carol and Ed Riesinger, Billings, Mont., and Aileen Fraser, Casper, Wyo.; his father-in-law, Herbert Herman, Gackle; and one brother-in-law, Herbert Herman Jr., San Jose, Calif. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital or the American Diabetes Association. The family also extends their heartfelt appreciation and thanks to all those who have supported them through this time of need. (Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck)

BOWMAN -- Dorothy Soreide, 70, Bowman, died Oct. 13, 2000 in the Bowman hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Tuesday, at Bowman Lutheran Church, with burial in Bowman Cemetery. She is survived by three sons, Carl, Rhame, and Jay and John, both of Bowman; two daughters, Julie Levos, Chaffee, and Carol Peterson, Wimbledon; three sisters, Aileen Doyle, Lewistown, Mont., Gene Thomas and Deloras Shear, both of Bowman; 12 grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. WILLISTON -- Dayton Unger, 72, Williston, died Oct. 14, 2000 in the Williston hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Williston. Further arrangements are pending with Everson Funeral Home, Williston.

John M. Andres
DICKINSON -- John M. Andres, 86, Dickinson, died Oct. 15, 2000, in the Dickinson hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Dickinson, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by two sons, Gerald, Maple Valley, Wash., and Roger, Dickinson; one daughter, Laurel Gabel, Dickinson; one brother, Amos, Dickinson; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. William D. Boehm
William D. "Willie" Boehm, 3421 Highway 1806, Mandan, died Oct. 15, 2000, in a Bismarck hospital of complications due to cardiac arrest. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Jacob Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, where a Catholic Daughters rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Wednesday. A parish vigil will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. William D. "Willie" Boehm was born Sept. 18, 1955, in Mandan. He was the son of Matt F. and Emma (Barth) Boehm. Willie was raised and educated in Mandan, graduating from Mandan High School in 1973. He was a union finish carpenter and belonged to the North Central Region Council of Carpenters. Willie was also a member of the Eagles. Willie enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter who loved to hunt with his faithful dog, Sammy. He had a great love for animals, especially horses and dogs. He is survived by one daughter, Alicia Schumacher, Fort Collins, Colo.; his mother, Emma Boehm, Mandan; one brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Joan, Mandan; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Kasper Kraft, New Salem, Gerrie and David Kath, Elko, Nev., Patricia and Jerry Stein, Bismarck, Susan and Robert Bauer, Bismarck; one sister-in-law, Sheila Boehm, Mandan; one aunt, Eleanor Boehm, Mandan; 30 nieces and nephews; and 16 grandnieces and grandnephews; and many friends. Willie was preceded in death by his father, Matt, who died in August 1971; and one brother, Matt Jr., who died in January 1995.

Anton Bosch
LINTON -- Anton Bosch, 64, Linton, died Oct. 15, 2000, in a Rochester, Minn. hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Linton. Further arrangements are pending at Myers Funeral Home, Linton.

MINOT -- Dustin Dragseth, the son of Michael and Donna Dragseth, Minot, was born and died Oct. 12, 2000, in a Lake Forest, Ill. hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Lutheran Brethren Church, Williston. Further arrangements are pending at Everson Funeral Home, Williston.

Gordon Elken
CARRINGTON -- Gordon Elken, 77, Carrington, died Oct. 16, 2000, in a Fargo hospital. Arrangements are pending at Evans Funeral Home, Carrington.

Irene Janet Finneman
BOWMAN -- Irene Janet Finneman, 78, Bowman, formerly of Golva, died Oct. 14, 2000, in Bowman. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Golva, with the Rev. David Morman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A rosary and vigil service will begin at 7 tonight at the church. Irene was born Feb. 21, 1922, in Hubbard County, White Oak Township, near Nevis, Minn., the daughter of Joseph Oscar and Ingaborg (Hammervold) Moen. Irene received her early education at the Haigh country school, and her high school education at the Golva High School. As a child, Irene participated in 4-H for 10 years, where she won many awards and was selected as a county champion. After high school, Irene moved to Spokane, Wash., where she worked at the Naval Supply Depot during World War II from December 1944 to April 1946. Irene was married to Norbert Finneman on Oct. 22, 1946, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Golva. After their marriage, they farmed near Golva and operated Norb's Silver Front Bar in Golva for 50 years. Irene and Norbert received a North Dakota Beverage Association award for being one of two to own and operate a tavern for 50 consecutive years. They retired from the tavern and sold it in 1996. Irene also loved to travel and had visited Europe and Norway three times visiting her aunts and her ancestral home. Irene was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Golva. She was a charter member of the VFW Auxiliary, joingin in 1946. She received her 50-year pin. Irene was on the Golva School Board for four years, the homemakers club and a pinochle club. Her hobbies included sewing, and baking traditional Norwegian holiday cookies and pastries, yard work, gardening, and especially her grandchildren. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert, on July 8, 1996, and one son in infancy. Irene is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Jeffrey, Sturgis, S.D., Ronald and Faith, Williston, and Kevin, Golva; one daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Rob Curl, Bowman; one sister, Lilly Sonduck, Bismarck; one brother, Marvin Moen, Golva; three grandsons, Justin Schillo, Medora, Brian Schillo, Bowman, and Matthew Finneman, Williston; and one granddaughter, Jesseaca Finneman, Williston. Erwin T. Frey
MOTT -- Erwin T. Frey, 70, Mott, died Oct. 15, 2000, in the Hettinger hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mott, with burial at 3 p.m. CDT Thursday in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, rural Mandan. He is survived by his wife, Ragnhild; three sons, Jerry, Mott, Kevin, Dickinson, and Curtis, Bismarck; two daughters, Cheryl Friedt, Mott, and Linda Rom, Longmont, Colo.; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Leroy, Jamestown, and Larry, New Salem; and two sisters, Sharon Riedlinger, Elgin, and Rosaline Reineke, Bismarck. TURTLE LAKE -- Gordon Gaskill, 78, Turtle Lake, died Oct. 16, 2000, in a Bismarck hospital. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Turtle Lake Baptist Church. Further arrangements are pending at Goetz Funeral Home, Turtle Lake.
