Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Eagle Butte High School Auditorium, with burial in Eagle Butte Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Donna; four sons, Travis, Eagle Butte, Tanner, Bismarck, N.D., Jason McKee, Deadwood, and Aaron, San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Holly Albers, Bismarck, and Kelly Albers-Pourier, Fayetteville, N.C.; his mother, Bonnie Miller, Eagle Butte; three brothers, Terry, Pine Ridge, Rhett, Mobridge, and Jhett, Spearfish; two sisters, Jo Miller, Rushville, Neb., and Lisa Lawrence, Vermillion; and six grandchildren. Lillie A. Bauer
Lillie A. Bauer, 86, Bismarck, died Feb. 16, 2000, in her home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bismarck. Further arrangements are pending at Bismarck Funeral Home.

Evelyn L. Berger
LEEDS -- Evelyn L. Berger, 81, Brinsmade, died Feb. 16, 2000, in the Rugby hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lebanon Free Lutheran Church, Leeds, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Lester; two sons, Keith, Grand Forks, and Carl, Devils Lake; two daughters, Evelyn Halvorson, River Falls, Wis., and Ann Spah, Ashley; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Ernest M. Hagen
BOWMAN -- Ernest M. Hagen, 97, Bowman, died Feb. 16, 2000, in the Bowman hospital. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. MST Saturday at Krebsbach Funeral Service, Bowman, with burial in Bowman Cemetery. He is survived by one sister, Ruth Davis, Bowman.

Beulah M. Helgerson
Beulah M. Helgerson, 93, New Hope, Minn., died Feb. 1, 2000, in a New Hope care center, where she had lived for six years. A resident of Bismarck from 1949 to 1962, Beulah is survived by her daughters, Eileen Howland, El Segundo, Calif., and Patricia Tjaden, Sacramento, Calif.; and her son, John Helgerson, Victoria, Minn. Beulah had 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Beulah was employed by Leach and Kelsch, a Bismarck oil exploration firm, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture until 1962, when she moved to Lomita, Calif. She retired from the U.S. Department of Defense in 1971. A longtime, active member of the Catholic Daughters and her church, Beulah was a community leader in Lomita, involved in improving living conditions and health care services for seniors. Among other accomplishments, she was instrumental in establishing senior housing in Lomita.

Reuben Huber
HARVEY -- Reuben Huber, 87, Harvey, died Feb. 16, 2000, in the Harvey nursing home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, Harvey. Further arrangements are pending at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

Raphael Braun
HAYNES -- Raphael Braun, 95, Haynes, died Jan. 26, 2001, in a Sturgis, S.D., health center. Services will be held at 9 a.m. MST Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hettinger. Burial will be in Hettinger Cemetery. He is survived by three sons, Tom, Box Elder, S.D., Bud, Lead, S.D., and Lee Roy, Newell, S.D.; one daughter, Beatrice Houghton, Hettinger; 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Mildred A. Burke
STERLING -- Mildred A. Burke, 92, Sterling, died Jan. 25, 2001, in a Bismarck care center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Living Hope Nazarene Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Ernie Hockett officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Boelter Funeral Home, Bismarck, and will continue at the church one hour before services. Mildred was born Oct. 5, 1908, at Plankinton, S.D., the daughter of William and Florence (Mills) Patterson. She grew up in Tappen and attended schools in Dawson and Tappen. After graduating from Tappen High School, she attended Northwestern Bible College in St. Paul, Minn. She married Harry J. Burke on July 22, 1944, in Seattle, where they resided for two years before returning to Bismarck. She worked for many years for Morrey Alan's Department Store and worked at various other jobs before working a short time at Top's Cafe in Sterling until her retirement. Mildred enjoyed gardening in her strawberry patch, and she was a helping and generous person. She is survived by one sister, Velma Stebbins, San Diego; one brother, William Patterson, Sterling; many nieces and nephews; grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; an infant sister; one sister-in-law; and one brother-in-law.

Lillian Gulka
DICKINSON -- Lillian Gulka, 79, Dickinson, died Jan. 26, 2001, in a Dickinson health center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MST Monday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson. Entombment will be in Dickinson Mausoleum. She is survived by her husband, James; six children, JoAnn Bonomo, Hettinger, James A., Tucson, Ariz., Linda Gulka Gould, Florence, Ore., Terry, Dickinson, Debra Gulka Anderson, Dickinson, and Sue Hecker, Dickinson; two sisters, Eleanor Kudrna and Rose Dolechek, both of Dickinson; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Harry E. Heidt
The Rev. Harry E. Heidt, 67, Douglas, Wyo., formerly of Wibaux, Mont., died Jan. 23, 2001, in Douglas, Wyo. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. MST Monday at Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church, Wibaux, Mont.

Reinhold A. Huber
MINOT -- Reinhold A. Huber, 81, Minot, formerly of Garrison, died Jan. 26, 2001, in a Minot nursing center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Peace Lutheran Church, Garrison. Burial will be in Garrison Cemetery. He is survived by three daughters, Betty Huber, Vista, Calif., Karen Eisenzimmer, Minot, and Bonnie Zeiszler, Las Vegas, Nev.; one son, Larry, Placentia, Calif.; two sisters, Pauline Berck, Garrison, and Lydia Kollman, Hesperia, Calif.; two brothers, Mel, Fullerton, Calif., and Emil, Vancouver, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Viola Iverson
ESMOND -- Viola Iverson, 80, Esmond, formerly of Grafton and Park River, died Jan. 26, 2001, in the Harvey medical center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethany Evangelical Free Church, Esmond. Burial will be in the spring in Memorial Park Cemetery, Park River. She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Hassett, Esmond, and Harriet Anderson, Inkster; one son, Larry Weiss, Red Lake Falls, Minn.; one brother, Willard Weiss, Crookston, Minn.; four sisters, Izzy Melin and Lillian Berry, both of Thief River Falls, Minn., Helen Schmitz, Red Lake Falls, Minn., and Marvel Klein, Langdon; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Kathy Bichler, 50, Bismarck, died Jan. 27, 2001, in a Bismarck hospital. Arrangements are pending at Eastgate Funeral Service.

Gordon S. Blaskowski
BEULAH -- Services for Gordon S. Blaskowski, 59, Beulah, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Valley City, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by two brothers, Harvey, Valley City, and Kevin, Magnolia, Ark.; and one sister, Barbara Blaskowski. (Oliver-Nathan Funeral Home, Valley City)

GARRISON -- Winston Anderson, 73, Garrison, died Dec. 31, 2000 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Garrison. Further arrangements are pending with Thompson Funeral Home, Garrison.

Frank Bauer
Frank Bauer, 86, Bismarck, died Jan. 1, 2001. Arrangements are pending with Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck.

Elvera A. Becker
NEW SALEM -- Elvera A. Becker, 77, New Salem, died Dec. 29, 2000 in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MST Thursday, at Peace Church, New Salem. Burial will be in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. MST Wednesday, at Elm Crest Nursing Home, New Salem, and after 3 p.m. MST Wednesday at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, New Salem. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Elvera Adeline Toepke was born on Oct. 24, 1923 in Dickinson, the daughter of Barney and Minnie (Wendt) Toepke. Raised in the Judson area, she graduated from Judson High School in 1941. She married Edwin G. Becker on Nov. 25, 1941 in Youngtown. They farmed east of Judson for many years until moving to New Salem in 1979. Elvera was employed at banks in Judson, Bismarck and New Salem. After moving to New Salem, she worked for Elm Crest Nursing Home for a number of years. Edwin died on Jan. 25, 1999. She enjoyed bingo and playing cards, particularly pinochle, television and reading. She and Edwin enjoyed fishing in their younger days. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marlene K. and Harry Bitterman, Seattle, Wash.; her son and daughter-in-law, Rodney D. and Rhoe Ann, Tacoma, Wash.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Kermit J. and Peggy Toepke, New Salem; two brothers-in-law, Willard Becker, West Orange, Texas, and Raymond Zeutschel, Tacoma, Wash. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, one sister-in-law and three brothers-in-law. (Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan)

Benedict James Bosch
Benedict James Bosch Jr., 12, Bismarck, died Dec. 30, 2000. Services will be held at noon Thursday, at Church of St. Anne, Bismarck, with the Rev. Ed Wehner officiating. Spring burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday, at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck, where vigil services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Junior was born May 26, 1988 in Great Lakes, Ill. He was raised in San Diego, Calif. where he attended Daniel Boone Elementary in Paradise Hills, Calif., through the fifth grade. In the sixth grade, he attended Silverwing Elementary in Imperial Beach, Calif. After his father completed 20 years of military service, his family moved to Bismarck where Junior attended Simle Middle School. He loved to go snowboarding, playing in the snow, and in the water, especially with his two cousins, Nathan Jensen and Jesse Silbernagel. Junior also liked fishing and skateboarding with his friends, Vincent, James and Benito. Junior had a love for life, always a smile for people and a curiosity for the way things worked that caused him to take things apart. His dad would find a piece of something behind a cushion and knew Junior was tinkering again. Junior is survived by his parents, Benedict Sr. and Nanette; two sisters, Kristy and Kimberly; his grandparents, Salud Matias, San Diego, Calif., and Eileen and Anton Krumm, Bismarck; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, in the U.S., Philippines, and Germany, including Jesse and Nathan. Violet A. Cornell
JAMESTOWN -- Violet A. Cornell, 74, of Jamestown, died Dec. 30, 2000 in a Jamestown hospital. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Basilica of St. James, Jamestown, with spring burial in Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Tompkins and Rebecca Wahl, both of Jamestown, and Janine Lux, Renton, Wash.; her sons, Dean and Jon, both of West Fargo; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Elaine Hamilton, Kansas City, Mo., Patricia James, Bath, S.D. Sandy R. Donat
Sandy R. Donat, 49, Bismarck, died Dec. 31, 2000 at her home after a battle with ovarian cancer. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Messiah Lutheran Church with the Rev. James Baneck officiating. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Bismarck Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Sandy was born May 30, 1951 in Jamestown, to Leonard and Edna (Rosenau) Norheim. She was raised and educated in Kensal, and attended UND and St. Luke's School of Nursing. Sandy married Arnie Donat on July 1, 1972 in Kensal. She worked as a Registered Nurse in labor and delivery at both St. Alexius and Medcenter One. She also taught lamaze classes for many years. More recently, Sandy loved her work in public health at Custer Health Unit in Mandan and especially enjoyed her work as a school nurse. Sandy was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Mandan, where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. Sandy is survived by her husband, Arnie; sons, Ryan and Brett, daughter, Sara, all of Bismarck; her parents, Leonard and Edna Norheim, Kensal; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Larry and Marsha Norheim, Bismarck, Kim Norheim, Jamestown, Jason and Denise Norheim, Moorhead, Minn.; also other relatives and friends.
