DICKINSON -- Warren Hedge, 78, Dickinson, formerly of San Diego, Calif., died Jan. 14, 2001, in a Dickinson care center. Arrangements are pending at Ladbury Funeral Home, Dickinson.

Jake Beck
BOWDON -- Jake Beck, 84, Bowdon, died Jan. 14, 2001 in a Mesa, Ariz. hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, at Bowdon Country Seventh-day Adventist Church, rural Bowdon. Further arrangements are pending with Nelson Funeral Home, Fessenden.

Kaitlin Rose Clark
Kaitlin Rose Clark, died three days after her birth at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the First Lutheran Church, Mandan, with teh Rev. Charles Axness officiating. Burial will be in the Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Kaitlin was born on Jan. 11, 2001 in Bismarck, the daughter of Dan and Karla (Hertwig) Clark of Mandan. In addition to her parents, Kaitlin is survived by her twin brother, Joshua Alan; her grandparents, Bob and Rose Hertwig, Hillsboro, and Dennis and Bernice Meyer, Mandan; her aunts and uncles, Jay and Michelle Clark, Herreid, S.D., and Sherri and Dave Schultz, Buxton; and cousins, Jack and Tyler Clark, and Danielle and Brittany Schultz. She was in death by her grandfather, Jack Clark and her uncle Dean Alan Clark. (Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan)

Juanita Delkamp
Juanita Delkamp, 64, Bismarck, died Jan. 14, 2001 in a Mandan care center. Family will be receiving friends from 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday at Bismarck Funeral Home. Arrangements are pending.

Irene A. Froehlich
MCCLUSKY -- Irene A. Froehlich, 84, McClusky, died Jan. 13, 2001 in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at McClusky Baptist Church. Burial will be in McClusky City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky from 2-8 p.m. today. Irene was born Nov. 1, 1916 to August J. and Ida J. (Wentz) Froehlich in Woodrow, Saskatchewan, Canada. The family moved to McClusky where she grew up and graduated from McClusky High School. She then graduated from Jamestown College and taught school in North Dakota. She decided to enter Christian ministry and attended the Baptist Missionary Training School in Chicago, Ill. She received her Bachelor of Religious Education degree and spent the next 25 years in church work. The first five years were spent as a pastor's assistant and youth director in Billings, Mont. She then worked in administrative positions with Baptist Conventions in Salt Lake City, Utah, Fargo and also at the YMCA in Fargo. She returned to McClusky in 1973 to care for her widowed mother. Irene was a member of the McClusky Baptist Church and its women's group. She also taught Sunday School for many years. She is survived by one sister, Violet Letvin, Dickinson; numerous nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Froehlich, McClusky. She was precerded in death by her parents; her sister, Aleta Kost; her brothers, Art and Don. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the McClusky Baptist Church. Leonard Peter Hansen
GARRISON -- Leonard Peter Hansen, 96, Oconomowoc, Wis., formerly of Garrison, died Jan. 13, 2001 in a Pewaukee, Wis. nursing home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Garrison. He is survived by a son, Raymond, Jackson, Minn.; a daughter, Diane Mautz, Heartland, Wis.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Crescence Rose, California. He is survived by two sons, Donovan, Dickinson, and Harold, Poway, Calif.; five grandchildren and one great-grandson; two sisters, Leona Krank, Dickinson, and Evelyn Harlan, Las Vegas, Nev.; and two brothers, Arthur, Post Falls, Idaho, and Edward, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Arthur Lee
WILLISTON -- Arthur "Art" Lee, 81, Williston, died Jan. 14, 2001 in a Williston nursing home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at First Lutheran Church, Williston. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Williston. He is survived by his wife, Gudrun; one son, Richard; one daughter, Kari, Williston; three sisters, Ruth Haugen and Inez Arnson, both of Williston, and Helen Flaten, Carpio; and one brother, Raymond, Williston.

Lydia Lindemann
BEULAH -- Lydia Lindemann, 99, Beulah, formerly of Golden Valley, died Jan. 14, 2001 in the Beulah care center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MST Friday, at Golgotha Lutheran Church, Golden Valley. Further arrangements are pending with Seibel Funeral Home, Beulah.

Marvin J. Lovelien
Marvin J. Lovelien, 74, rural Bismarck, died Jan. 14, 2001 in a Denver, Colo. hospital. Memorial services are pending.

DICKINSON -- Rosemary Meyer, 65, Dickinson, died Jan. 15, 2001 in a Dickinson hospital. Arrangements are pending with Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson.

Jodi Lynn Niess
JAMESTOWN -- Jodi Lynn Niess, 30, Jamestown, died Jan. 13, 2001 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, at Haut Funeral Chapel, Jamestown. She is survived by her father, Marlin Niess, Argusville; her mother, Betty Marton, Jamestown; one son, Johnnie Ray Sams, Redding, Calif.; her grandmother, Clara Trautman, Jamestown; four brothers and two sisters, Michael Niess, Lafayette, Colo., Jeff Niess, Jamestown, LaMont Niess, Fargo, Shaine Zillmer, Minot, Lori Niess, Jamestown, and Michelle Staehr, Fargo; and three stepsisters, Sarah Meester, Valley City, Elizabeth Herzog, Madison, Wis., and Rebecca Barnes, Golden, Colo. Gerald Richard Sorenson
OAKES -- Gerald Richard Sorenson, 66, Oakes, died Jan. 12, 2001 at his home. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Oakes, with burial in Oakes View Cemetery, Oakes. He is survived by his wife, Betty; one son, Steven, Harwood; three daughters, Kari, Fargo, Susan, Rochester, Minn., and Kathy Filbert, White Bear Lake, Minn.; three brothers, Cliff, Harvey, Larry, Garrison, and Glenn, Underwood; and three grandchildren. Ida Zinnel
Ida Zinnel, 89, Medcenter One Care Center, Mandan, died Jan. 15, 2001 in the center. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at First Lutheran Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Charlie Axness officiating. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, where a prayer service will be said at 8 p.m. tonight. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Ida (Wenger) Zinnel, the daughter of Gottlieb and Barbara (Effinger) Wenger was born on Oct. 27, 1911 in Morton County. She was raised and educated in Mandan. On June 12, 1939, she married Anton Zinnel in Mandan. She is survived by two brothers, George Wenger, Longmont, Colo., and Vernon Wenger, Pacific, Wash.; one sister, Katherine Mosbrucker, Bismarck; one grandson, David Zinnel, New Salem; and one great-granddaughter, Nora Zinnel. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Anton, who died on Feb. 12, 1978; one son, Richard, who died on June 2, 1973; two brothers, Henry and Fred; and two sisters, Florence McMillan and Rose Tokach. Floyd Johnston
JAMESTOWN -- Floyd Johnston, 93, Jamestown, died Jan. 12, 2001, in the Jamestown hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown. He is survived by four daughters, June Fietzek, Montpelier, Janice Fietzek, Jamestown, Joyce Ditto, Pensacola, Fla., and Jeanne Eckert, Maple Grove, Minn.; one son, Jerald Johnston, Houma, La.; 18 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Ivan Clarence Lange
REGAN -- Ivan Clarence Lange, 72, Regan, died Jan. 13, 2001, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eastgate Funeral Service, with the Rev. Paul Schauer officiating. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Ivan was born March 17, 1928, at Woodworth, the son of William and Lydia (Hust) Lange. He farmed with his family until 1962, and then worked for Herman Widicker near Bowdon. In 1972, he moved to Missoula, Mont., where he worked at Muralt's Truck Stop until his retirement in 1987. In 1991, he moved to Regan. Ivan is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Wade Dunbar, Bismarck; two sons, Darrell, Bonnes Ferry, Idaho, and Bruce, Bismarck; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Kenneth, Idaho, Carl, Iowa, and Ronald, Massachusetts; three sisters, Georgeann Simonson and Charlotte James, both of Kensal, and Mildred Morrison, Deadwood, S.D.; and his special companion, Joann Schumacher, Regan, and her family.

Olivia Lesmeister
NEW ROCKFORD -- Olivia Lesmeister, 83, New Rockford, died Jan. 13, 2001, in her home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church, New Rockford. Further arrangements are pending at Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford.

Sara H. Liebelt
JAMESTOWN -- Sara H. Liebelt, 81, Jamestown, died Jan. 12, 2001, in the Jamestown hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Seventh Day Adventist Church, Jamestown, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown. She is survived by her husband, Robert; one son, Lance, Simi Valley, Calif.; two grandchildren; three brothers, Sam Brenneise, Chicago, Ken Brenneise, Rapid City, S.D., and Nathan Brenneise, Payette, Idaho; and three sisters, Ruth Duerksen, Tucson, Ariz., Ada Heinrich, Tolstoy, S.D., and Orpha Bensen, Leola, S.D. Beverley Ann Lilly
Beverley Ann Lilly passed away peacefully at home Jan. 14, 2001, surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bismarck Funeral Home. Lloyd Robins and Chaplain Duane Wacker will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-7 tonight at the funeral home. Private burial will be in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Born Jan. 24, 1930, in Grafton, to Arthur and Rachel Vondal Krause, Bev grew up in Minnesota and North Dakota. She graduated from Williston High School with honors and attended University of North Dakota where she majored in medical technology. In 1952 she married Carroll Eugene Lilly and moved to Long Beach, Calif. But, Dakotans at heart, they moved back to North Dakota permanently in 1958, making their home in Williston. They moved to Bismarck in 1967, where Bev worked at Q&R Clinic until her retirement in 1992. Bev will be remembered for her sharp wit and intelligence, her creativity, and her great common sense. She loved to read mystery novels and to travel. With her husband, she visited Hawaii several times and took a trip to England where she met and had tea with one of her favorite mystery authors. She is survived by her daughter, Annrachelle and son-in-law, Lloyd Robins, Lancaster, Calif., and their sons, Bradley, Zachary, Ian and Patrick; daughter, Claudia Gregory of St. Paul, Minn., and her son, Corey, Princeton, Ind.; daughter and son-in-law, Celeste Lilly and Bert Kosobud, Bismarck, and daughter, Brooke Diane Lilly, Bakersfield, Calif. She will be remembered lovingly by sister-in-law, Delma Krause, Williston, and her children, Cynthia Carlson, Billings, Mont., and Michael Krause, Sioux Falls, S.D.; as well as sister-in-law, Eleanor Tinsley, Rapid City, S.D. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; one son, Michael; one brother, Irvin "Mike" Krause; and her grandson, Daniel Robins. The family would like to thank Home Medical Resources and Hospice during Bev's last days. Special thanks to Jo Miller, R.N., and Eunice Morgenstern for their compassion and loving care. Extra special thanks to the staff of Professional Home Care who gave countless hours of care to Bev over the last year. Our heartfelt thanks to Glenda Heinert and Sheila Vierra.
