ENDERLIN -- Stephen R. Traynor, 79, Enderlin, died April 17, 2001, at his home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Enderlin. Burial will be in Enderlin. He is survived by one son, Terrance, Bismarck; one daughter, Patricia Baysinger, Anchorage, Alaska; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Mary Isabel Hanson, East Grand Forks, Minn., and Jane Westenberg and Ruth Flynn, both of Arizona. Isabelle Wilson
Isabelle Wilson, 85, Plentywood, Mont., died April 15, 2001, in Plentywood. Services will be held Friday in Plentywood. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Wilson, Bismarck, and Dwight Wilson, Couer d'Alene, Idaho. (Fulkerson Funeral Home, Plentywood, Mont.)

Eva Baer
RICHARDTON -- Eva Baer, 99, Richardton, died April 19, 2001, in the Richardton care center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Monastery, Richardton. Further arrangements are pending at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson.

Reinhold Braun
Reinhold H. Braun, 88, Bismarck, died April 19, 2001, in a Bismarck care center. Arrangements are pending at Bismarck Funeral Home.

Ben Eissinger
WISHEK -- Ben Eissinger, 95, Wishek, died April 16, 2001, in the Wishek care center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at United Church of Christ, Wishek, with burial in Wishek Cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Verna Fog, Waseca, Minn.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. (Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek)

Ella Folske
BOWMAN -- Ella W. Folske, 88, Bowman, died April 17, 2001, in the Bowman care center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Saturday at Bowman Lutheran Church, with burial in Bowman Cemetery.

She is survived by four sons, Bob, Bowman, Dr. James, Bismarck, Dave, Bottineau, and Junior, Broken Arrow, Okla.; two sisters, Elva Freybler and Elaine Davis, both of LaCrosse, Wis.; two brothers, Robert Wood and Wendell Wood, both of LaCrosse; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Edith Halvorson
MILES CITY, Mont. -- Edith Halvorson, 92, Miles City, died April 17, 2001, in a Miles City care center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Free Lutheran Church, Stanley, withburial in Rest Haven Cemetery, Palermo.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Melchior, Miles City; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. (Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home, Miles City)

Marie Hertz
HARVEY -- Marie Hertz, 73, Harvey, died April 17, 2001, in the Harvey hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Eckart, Harvey, Carol Hagstrom, Highland, Calif., and Mary Hager, Harvey; one son, Nick Hertz, Harvey; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Casper, Rugby, Lawrence, Great Falls, Mont., Virgil, Tigard, Ore., and LeRoy, Hemet, Calif.; and four sisters, Elizabeth Thompson, Tigard, Agnes Kelly, Dickinson, Theresa Paul, Rugby, and Janice Schmidt, San Jacinto, Calif. Melita Hildebrand
HAZEN -- Melita Hildebrand, 88, Hazen, died April 18, 2001, in the Hazen hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Saturday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hazen, with the Rev. David Suelzle officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2-7 p.m. today at Seibel Funeral Home, Hazen.

Melita was born icon south of Hazen on Nov. 14, 1912, to Henry and Dorothea (Schneider) Auwinger. She was raised and educated 13 miles south of Hazen. In 1931, she married icon Hildebert Sailer at the Rhine church, south of Hazen. They farmed for a short time and then began a career in the grocery business, owning and operating stores in Zap, Bismarck and Hebron. On June 15, 1961, she married icon Simon Hildebrand at English Lutheran Church, Hazen. They lived in Hazen and enjoyed fishing and dancing when time allowed.

She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Hazen, where she was active in the Ladies Aid and was a volunteer Braille worker. She was also a member of the Hazen Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Melita is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Luella and Robert Burke, Sacramento, Calif., and LeDean and David Moen, Hettinger; one son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Kathleen Sailer, Las Vegas; four grandchildren, Scott and Sarah Sailer, Kelli Ann and Lyle Kordonowy, Kim and David Roessler, and Kip and Tracy Moen; seven great-grandchildren; one stepdaughter, Eileen Scheerer, St. George, Utah; one stepson, Stanley Hildebrand, Pineville, La.; one sister, Irene Mutzenberger, Minot; one brother, Ervin Auwinger, Mesa, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Hildebert Sailer and Simon Hildebrand; one brother, Matt Auwinger; and one sister, Lydia Wohlfeil.

Sandra Hintz
GARRISON -- Sandra Hintz, 46, Garrison, died April 19, 2001, of natural causes. Arrangements are pending at Thompson Funeral Home, Garrison.

Alvin Klick
Alvin W. Klick, 92, Denver, died April 16, 2001. Services were held April 19 at Fairmont Mausoleum, Denver.

Mr. Klick was born icon Oct. 18, 1908, in Hebron.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nettie; and their daughter, Gloria.

Mr. Klick was a funeral director in North Dakota until his retirement in 1969, when he moved to Denver.

He was active in Boy Scouts of America, First Presbyterian Church in Bismarck, and El Jebel Shrine. An avid golfer, he was proud of having golfed in at least 39 states.

Survivors include his brother, Harry, Bismarck; one son, Dean, Aurora, Colo.; five grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.

Mark Many Horses
Mark Many Horses, 48, Bismarck, died April 17, 2001, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cannon Ball Activity Center, Cannon Ball, with the Rev. Casimir Paluck officiating. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery, Cannon Ball.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, where a prayer vigil will begin at 7 tonight. Visitation will continue at the activity center from 9-11 a.m. Saturday.

Mark was born icon May 16, 1952, in Fort Yates, the son of Carl and Alma (Two Bears) Many Horses. He was raised and educated in the Cannon Ball and Solen areas. On April 15, 1977, he married icon Sharon Brewster in Fort Yates. He served in the U.S. Navy with an honorable discharge. A Vietnam Veteran, he was the recipient of the Vietnam Medal with one Bronze Star.

Mark was one who had a very caring personality, who worked with the homeless and troubled teens, enjoyed helping people and was very sensitive to their needs. He enjoyed traveling, and loved playing softball and golf. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his daughter. His wonderful sense of humor always brought smiles and laughter to those around him.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; one daughter, Brenna, Bismarck; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Justine Parkhurst, Cannon Ball, Sharon and Joe Kary, Solen, Lorraine and Dave Siegfried, Elgin, and Beanzie and Pete Red Tomahawk, Cannon Ball; two adopted brothers, Ross Wise Spirit and Lee "Casey" Fox Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Alma Many Horses; two brothers, Carlton and Lawrence Lee; and his grandparents, Felix and Helen Many Horses and Basil and Annie Two Bears.

Elaine Mayer
NEW TOWN -- Elaine Mayer, 67, New Town, died April 18, 2001, in her home. Arrangements are pending at Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City.

Christine Moore
MCCLUSKY -- Christine Moore, 95, Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of McClusky, died April 17, 2001, in a Boca Raton care center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church, McClusky, with burial in McClusky Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky.

Christine was born icon May 8, 1905, on the family farm near Pekin. She was the daughter of Ole and Anne (Aarestad) Walhood. She grew up near Pekin and graduated from McVille High School in 1923. She received her bachelor of science degree in education in 1927 from North Dakota State University in Fargo. She majored in English and took all of the available journalism courses. She became interested in journalism after college after selling an article "Windbreaks for North Dakota Homesteads" to the Successful Farming magazine. She was a member of Phi Omega Pi and served as president of the Education Club while on campus.

She married icon Raymond Patrick Moore in the fall of 1927 in McClusky. She and R.P. lived in McClusky. She taught high school in Sykeston in 1927 and 1928, and was a substitute teacher at McClusky High School. While raising her son and being a homemaker she assisted part time with the news reporting and writing for the McClusky Gazette from 1956-1972. She sold the newspaper to James Wills in 1972 and moved to Boca Raton.

She was a member of North Dakota Press Women and won several Writing Content Annual Honor Awards each year from 1956 until she sold the newspaper. These awards included publication edited by a woman, editorial in a weekly newspaper, column in a weekly newspaper, special edition, booklet, page layout and display advertising.

Christine was very active in the McClusky community. She was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church, McClusky, and assisted in organizing the church and served as the first superintendent of Sunday school. She is a life member of the Women's Mission Federation. She served with the American Red Cross. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star and served as the worthy matron and district deputy for the Worthy Grand Matron of North Dakota, and was later Grand Representative to Manitoba, Canada. She was a charter member of McClusky Homemakers Club and served as a Cub Scout Den Mother. She also served as president of the McClusky School Board.

Christine is survived by her son, Thomas E. Moore, Broomfield, Colo.; two grandsons, Mark E. Moore, Longmont, Colo., and Jon M. Moore, Thornton, Colo.; one granddaughter, Sue E. Dolan, Arvada, Colo.; four great-grandchildren, Brian and Brandon Dolan, and Aubree and Dylan Moore.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one daughter, Patricia Anne Moore, in 1929.

Georgia Orner
JAMESTOWN -- Georgia Viola Orner, 91, Jamestown, died April 18, 2001, in a Jamestown nursing home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with burial in Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.

She is survived by one daughter, Lucille McGill Sweet, Spring Hill, Fla.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Neustel, Minot; and one brother, Albert Wichael, Campbell, Minn.

Carl Rexine
BOWDON -- Carl Rexine, 79, Bowdon, died April 19, 2001, in a Jamestown hospital. Arrangements are pending at Nelson Funeral Home, Fessenden.

Bradley Weeks
JAMESTOWN -- Bradley R. Weeks, 65, Jamestown, died April 16, 2001, in the Jamestown hospital. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. today at All Faith's Chapel, North Dakota State Hospital, Jamestown, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.

He is survived by one sister, Dorothy Fontaine, Calif.; and one brother, Waldo, Hatton. (Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown)
