Janice Hegseth
A funeral mass for Janice Hegseth, 52, McLeod, ND, was celebrated on Friday, May 12, 2006 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Wyndmere. Rev. Len Loegering was celebrant. Mrs. Hegseth died Monday, May 8 at MeritCare Healthcare, Fargo, ND.
Janice Mary Novotny, daughter of Raymond and Helen (Mashek) Novotny, was born May 2, 1954 at Breckenridge, MN. She attended country school and graduated from Lidgerwood High School, Lidgerwood, ND, in 1972.
On December 3, 1977, she married John Hegseth at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Lidgerwood. The couple lived in rural McLeod where they raised their three children. The family moved to their present home in 1989. Janice raised sheep and worked for Burkel Turkey Farm. For six years she worked for Homestead Turkey Farm, rural Wyndmere. Janice was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she taught religion and was involved with the women’s guild.
She is survived by her husband, John Hegseth, rural McLeod; two sons, Chris and Jason Hegseth, rural McLeod; one daughter, Amy Jo Hegseth, Moorhead, MN; her parents, Raymond and Helen Novotny, Lidgerwood; two brothers, Richard (Cynthia) Novotny, Wyndmere and Robert Novotny, Lidgerwood; two sisters, Susie (Dayle) Haaland, Veblen, SD and Pam (Steve) Kraemer, Lidgerwood, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Clara Novotny and Louis and Hattie Mashek.
Interment at Nordmana Cemetery, rural McLeod.
Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, was in charge of arrangements.

Corrine M. Johnson
Funeral services for Corrine M. Johnson, 49, Lisbon, were held on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lisbon. Rev. Norm Anderson and Rev. David Killeen officiated. Ms. Johnson died Thursday, Dec. 21 at her home.
Corrine M. Haecherl, daughter of Joe and Mary (Carter) Haecherl, was born November 27, 1957 at Lisbon. She graduated from Lisbon High School in 1976.
On April 11, 1981, she married Allan Johnson. They farmed near Forman. In 1991 they moved to Lisbon. From 1990-1996 Corrine worked as a CNA at the North Dakota Veterans Home. From 1996-1999 she worked at Warehouse Grocery. From 1998-2001 she worked at Parkside Lutheran Home. In 2001 she moved to Fargo, where she worked for Hampton Inn and Super 8.
In 2003 she married Scott Johnson. From 2003-2006 she worked for Leef Cleaners. She returned to Lisbon in 2006 and babysat for her grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Jenny (Jason) Kunze, Lisbon, Sarah Johnson and Kathy Johnson, both of Fargo; one son, Andrew, Fargo; four grandchildren; four brothers, Mike (Sherry) Elk City, OK, Joey (Linda), Lisbon, Fred (Stacey), Fargo, and Jerry (Lisa), Lisbon; and one sister, Mary Jo (Todd) Ose, Lisbon.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Frank.
Pallbearers for the funeral were Scott Olson, Jared Haecherl, Charlie Brunton, Jon Hanna, Matt Johnson, Todd Ose, Larry “Vern” Johnson, and Gary Adam.
Music was provided by organist Jan Hansen and soloist Heidi Krouder.
Interment at Oakwood, Cemetery, Lisbon.
Armstrong Funeral Home, Enderlin, was in charge of arrangements.

David P. Sanderson
Funeral services for Lt. JG David P. Sanderson, 61, Lewistown, MT, were held Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006 at Cloyd Chapel, Lewistown. Mr. Sanderson died Tuesday, Dec. 19 at his home.
David P. “Slim” Sanderson, son of Arvid and Mavis (Hovde) Sanderson, was born December 20, 1944 in Valley City, ND. He graduated from Sidney High School and later entered the U.S. Navy.
He married Rhonda Larsen. They had two children, Robyn and Rochelle. He later married Judy. They had one son, Joshua. He retired from the Navy in 1983 as a Lieutenant JG, and moved to Lewistown. For a short time, he lived in California. He then returned to Lewistown. He worked as a machinist engineer and was founder of Synthesis Industries, Lewistown. He was a partner in that business at the time of his death.
David was a member of Fergus Post #16 American Legion, Lewistown.
He is survived by one son, Joshua, Lewistown; daughters, Robyn Sanderson, Lewistown, and Rachel Sanderson, San Diego, CA; step-children, Shane Miller, Anthem, AZ, Jon (Debbie) Gordon, and Denise Ophus, both of Lewistown, and Renee Miller, Great Falls, MT; his mother, Mavis Kukes, Fargo; brothers, Terry, Lewistown, and Kent, Mandan, ND; sister, Karen Faruqi, Billings, MT; half-brothers, Donald Sanderson, Reno, NV, Bill Kukes and Shawn Kukes, both of Fargo; half-sisters, Beth Brewer, Vicki Rott and Jana Meidinger, all of Fargo; 12 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Interment in the veterans section of Lewistown City Cemetery.
Cloyd Funeral Home, Lewistown, was in charge of arrangements.

Herb Kringen
A memorial service for Herb Kringen, 78, Fargo, was held on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 at Boulger Funeral Home Chapel, Fargo. Mr. Kringen died Sunday, Dec. 24 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo.
Herb Kringen, son of Sylvester and Margaret (Shea) Kringen, was born October 9, 1928 in Minot, ND. Sylvester died when Herb was an infant, and he was raised by his mother and step-father, Lee Crum. Herb graduated from high school in Minot, and later, from Minot State Teacher’s College. He received his masters degree from the University of North Dakota. Herb was a member of the National Guard, and served on active duty during the Korean War.
On December 8, 1951, he married Alice Larson at Rolla, ND. He taught school in Sheyenne, ND, Esmond, ND, and Rolla, ND, and was superintendent in Parshall, ND, Turtle Lake, ND, and Tuttle, ND. He retired in 1988, and moved to Fargo in 1994.
He is survived by three children, Herb (Janie), Mandan, ND, Karol (Mark) Hetland, Prior Lake, MN, and Jon (Beth), Ada, MN, formerly of Enderlin; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; four step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Clark Crum and Russel Crum; sisters, Millie Rude and Leah Hart; sister-in-law, Eileen Kringen, and mother-in-law, Hilda Larson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; his parents; his brother, S.A. Kringen, and one grandson.
Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, was in charge of arrangements.

Leo A. Lemna
A Funeral Mass for Leo A. Lemna, 76, Enderlin, was celebrated on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Enderlin. Monsignor Daniel Pilon was celebrant. Mr. Lemna died Saturday, Dec. 23 at his home.
Leo A. Lemna, son of Lawrence and Margaret L. (Linzbach) Lemna, was born January 4, 1930 at Lisbon. He attended school at rural Enderlin.
On February 14, 1957 he married Mary Schmidt at Lisbon. Leo farmed near Enderlin. He was on the Enderlin Rescue Squad in the 1980s, and had been a past Lions Club member. He attended St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, Enderlin; three sons, William (Kellie), and Michael, both of Enderlin, and Jeffrey (Serrina), Breckenridge, MN; one daughter, Wanda (Kevin) O’Neal, Cary, NC; eight grandchildren; one brother, Dennis (Becky), Enderlin, and seven sisters, Helen (Harold) Tellinghausen, Rapid City, SD, Doris Schultz, Lisbon, Peggy (Don) Chesley, Enderlin, Joyce (Irv) Weigshied, Dent, MN, Donna (Bob) Ikleman, Dixon, CA, Darlene Frederick, Bismarck, and Carol (Eddie) Buschette, Mahnomen, MN.
He was preceded in death by five children, Joanne, Nancy, Ronald, Curtis, and Daniel, and four siblings, Dick, Kenneth, Robert, and Betty.
Pallbearers for the funeral were Dwight Lemna, Larry Schultz, Kevin Schultz, Joe Chesley, Chuck Lemna, and Tim Frederick.
Music was provided by organist Sylvia Schlagel and soloists Tom and Mary Beth Browman.
Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Lisbon.

Ralph Holm Myhre
Funeral services for Ralph Holm Myhre, 90, Fargo, were held on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006 at First Lutheran Church, Enderlin. Rev. Leon Zavadil officiated. Mr. Myhre died Thursday, Dec. 21 at Good Samaritan Center, Arthur, ND.
Ralph Holm Myhre, son of John and Hannah (Holm) Myhre, was born August 30, 1916 at Adams, WI. He graduated from Enderlin High School. Ralph worked for North American Creamery, driving delivery trucks. From 1942-1945 he served in the U.S. Army with the 391st as a radio signalman in North Africa, Sicily, and Italy.
On May 11, 1946 he married Doris E. Esler at Mora, MN. They lived in Fairmount, ND from 1946-1950. They moved to Enderlin, where he worked for the Soo Line Railroad. In 1981 he retired as a locomotive engineer. In 1989 they moved to Fargo. Doris died December 3, 1993.
He had attended First Lutheran Church, Enderlin.
He is survived by two sons, Russel, Valley City, and Stewart (Julie) Casselton; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; two sisters, Edna Reigal and Elizabeth Pribbenow, and two brothers, Wilber and Clifford.
Honorary pallbearers for the funeral were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Music was provided by organist Shirley Hanson.
Interment at Mora, MN.
Armstrong Funeral Home, Enderlin, was in charge of arrangements.
