Ken "Bud" Wandler
Ken "Bud" Wandler passed away Thursday, March 20, 2003 at 5:20 p.m.
He was a man who thought and portrayed himself as someone who would not be missed. Someone who "never made a big splash in the world." But in truth he touched more hearts and souls than he could have ever realized.
He was husband, father, grandfather, teacher, coworker and friend.
He will be missed not so much for what he had accomplished in his lifetime, but more for his simple and reassuring presence.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy, four children Valorie, Dan (Shelly), Kathy and Eileen (Allen) Pippin and two grandchildren – Marcus and Logan; three brothers – Ron (Marianne), Donald (Lydia), and Bruce (Donna) Wandler.
He also leaves six nieces and six nephews.
He is also survived by all those whom he and his immediate family would consider extended family; those whom he had mentored, guided or encouraged to achieve more than they had thought themselves capable.
You will be missed, and will remain forever in our hearts and memories.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 26 at 11:30 a.m. at Edine-Yahn Chapel, Kent, WA with interment following at Tahoma National Cemetery.
