John Floberg officiating. Burial will bein the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today at Perry Funeral Home, Mandan, and from 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday at the Veteran's Memorial Building, Cannon Ball.

Helen Wald, 67, Bismarck, died April 4, 2000, in a Bismarck hospital. Arrangements are pending at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck.

Sharon Weber
ASHLEY -- Sharon Weber, 57, Ashley, died March 30, 2000, in the Ashley hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Carlsen Funeral Home, Ashley, with burial in the Reformed Section of Ashley Cemetery. She is survived by three brothers, Douglas Weber, Napoleon, and Melvin Weber and Richard Weber, both of Ashley.

Laura E. Williams
NEW ROCKFORD -- Laura E. Williams, 92, New Rockford, died April 3, 2000, in the New Rockford care center. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Catholic Church, New Rockford, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Richard, New Rockford, and Michael, Brainerd, Minn.; two daughters, Marylee Falconer, Brainerd, and Winona Johns, Long Beach, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Annette Paris, Arcadia, Calif. Mildred Anderson
Mildred Anderson, 85, Veblen, S.D., died April 3, 2000 in a Fargo hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Veblen, with burial in Veblen Cemetery. She is survived by a son, Thomas, Veblen; three daughters, Georgine Ceroll, Holiday Island, Ark., Paulette Gustafson, Veblen, and Patricia Gereszek, Bismarck; one sister, Alice Anderson, Veblen; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dorothy J. Anderson
Dorothy J. Anderson, 77, Edina, Minn., died April 4, 2000 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, at Cross of Glory Baptist Church, Hopkins, Minn. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today, at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, Edina. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Nancy; her grandchildren, Krista and Nathan Anderson; one brother, Lawrence (Phyllis) Bezanson; one sister, Joyce (Kenneth) Gafkjen; her sisters-in-law, Nathalie Peterson and Dorothy L. Peterson; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace. Memorials may be given to Cross of Glory Baptist Church or the donor's choice.

Anton Hatzenbuhler
Anton Hatzenbuhler, 85, 408 15th Street, NW, Mandan, died April 5, 2000 in a Bismarck hospital. Arrangements are pending with Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan.

June Kelsch
MOTT -- June Kelsch, 80, Mott, died April 3, 2000 in the Hettinger hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. MDT today, at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Mott, with the Rev. James Reardon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Special music will be provided by Pat Schwartz, organist, and Wade Hoherz, soloist. Serving as casketbearers are her grandchildren, Ward, Todd, Ty, Steven, Daren, Aaron, Danielle, and Chad Kelsch; Stacy, Amber and Jamie Steckler; Wyatt and Molly Lein. A memorial has been established to S.W.I.M. (Support Water-fun in Mott). June Arlis Bohn was born June 18, 1919 in Athboy, S.D., to Barnhardt Herman and Stella M. (Pfeiffer) Bohn. Her mother died when June was a small child. At an early age, June moved with her father, older brother and sister to Mott. She attended school in Mott graduating from Mott Lincoln High in 1936. June attended a Teachers College in Havre, Mont., and then Dickinson State Teachers College. She earned her teaching certificate and taught for one yera at Cherry Butte Country School north of Regent. June was united in marriage to William F. "Willie" Kelsch on May 30, 1940 at New Leipzig. They lived south of Bentley, where they farmed and ranched. They moved into Mott in 1946, where they have continued to live. June was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, the Altar Society; and TOPS. She enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, needlework, cooking, bowling and was an avid arrowhead collector. Surviving family members include her husband, William F. "Willie" Kelsch, Mott; three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Judy Kelsch, Dean and Barbara Kelsch, and Dan and Lori Kelsch, all of Mott; two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna and William Steckler, Glen Ullin, and Janine Lein, Mott; one sister and brother-in-law, Jessie and Raymond "Bud" Birkmaier, St. Louis Park, Minn.; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Virginia Bohn. (Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home, Mott)

JAMESTOWN -- Mariam "Mary" Lindberg, 82, Jamestown, died April 5, 2000 in a Fargo hospital. Arrangements are pending with Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Pat J. Pedersen
LUVERNE -- Pat J. Pedersen, 71, Luverne, died April 4, 2000 in the Valley City hospital. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, at Luverne Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Jan Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Luverne Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, at Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. Patricia "Pat" Joan Doyle was born Jan. 2, 1929 in Hope, the daughter of Edward and Helen (Brown) Doyle. She attended school in Hope graduating from Hope High School in 1946 and then attained her teaching certificate from Valley City State University. Pat taught in Hope for three years before being united in marriage to Jorgen Pedersen on March 5, 1949 in Hope. They made their home on a farm near Luverne and farmed until retiring in 1990, when they moved into Luverne. Pat was a member of Luverne Lutheran Church and the Danish Sisterhood. She was active in a Bible study group and WELCA. She volunteered for an art appreciation class through the Griggs County Arts Council as an instructor at Hannaford Schools. She enjoyed quilting, bowling and singing. She is survived by her husband, Jorgen; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Mary, Clinton, Iowa, Donald and Marcie, and their daughter, Hayley, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Dale and Nancy, and their sons, Carter and Grant, Luverne; three daughters and one son-in-law, Diane and Doug Stoltz, and their daughters, Courtney, Rachel and Allison, Bismarck, Peggy Pedersen, De Kalb, Ill., and Mary Helen (Don Hincks), Falmouth, Maine; three brothers, B.E. (Sue), Corvallis, Ore., Keith "Pete" (Florence), Fargo, and Gerry (Nancy), Monroe, Ore.; and two sisters, Sydney Doyle and Shirley Doyle, both of Laporte, Minn. Leonard was born Sept. 8, 1954 at Fargo, to Francis Red Tomahawk and Lorraine Uses Arrow. He was raised and educated in Fort Yates. He is survived by three sons, Lenny, Darrick and Waylon Red Tomahawk, all of Fort Totten. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and one sister. (Perry Funeral Home, Mandan)

Alma Shepherd
Alma Shepherd, 84, Bismarck, died April 5, 2000 in a local hospital. Arrangements are pending with Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck.

Helen Wald
Helen Wald, 67, 4519 Patriot Drive, Bismarck, died April 4, 2000 in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Church of St. Anne, Bismarck, with the Revs. Edwin Wehner and Jim Gross officiating. Burial will be in North Dakota Veterans' Cemetery, rural Mandan. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. today, at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck, where a vigil service and rosary will be said at 7 p.m. tonight. Helen was born Sept. 16, 1932 in Logan County, the daughter of Baltzer B. and Katherine (Wangler) Weigel. She was raised on a farm and educated near Napoleon. Helen married Baltzer Wald on July 15, 1952 in Napoleon. They moved to Oklahoma where Baltzer was stationed in the military from 1952 to 1954. They returned and farmed north of Napoleon for 28 years. They retired and moved to Napoleon in 1987, where Helen worked at the Wentz Restaurant as a part-time baker. In 1991, they moved to Bismarck. Helen worked part-time at Dan's Supermarket and Econo Foods in the Bakery Departments until her retirement in 1998. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, gardening, baking, traveling, dancing and playing cards. Helen also was a volunteer at Medcenter One and a member of St. Anne's Church. She is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon and Alan Graff, Lake Stevens, Wash., Mary Ann Wald, Fargo, Sheila Bentz, Fargo, and Michelle and Mark Jensen, Bismarck; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Dennis, Long Beach, Calif., Robert, Bismarck, Tom and Clarissa, Bismarck, and Donny and Teresa, Fargo; three grandchildren, Kayla and Michael Wald, and Miranda Jensen. She has five sisters, Agnes Gross, Napoleon, Agatha Schaffer, Edgeley, Carolyn (Alvin) Gross, Napoleon, Mary Ann (Clarence) Wanner, Rochester, Minn., and Medy (John) Gross, Bismarck; one brother, Ben (DeLores) Weigel, Bismarck; and many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Baltzer. Memorials are preferred to the North Dakota Veterans' Cemetery, Mandan, or the American Cancer Society. EDGELEY -- Sebastian Weigel, 85, Edgeley, died April 4, 2000 at his home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Zion Lutheran Church, Edgeley, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley. He is survived by his wife, Emma; eight daughters, Jewel Carlson, Oakland, Calif., Jeanne Worrel, West Fargo, Betty Lou Krueger, White Bear Lake, Minn., Shirley Gangness, Bismarck, Joyce Scott, Dickinson, Lana Hebl, LaMoure, Vyonne Lipp, Linton, and Kari Donaldson, Concord, N.C.; one son, John, Lisbon; 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Corcoran, New Ulm, Minn., and three brothers, Eugene, Bismarck, Louis, Milwaukee, Wis., and Roy, Minneapolis. Robert Weigelt
FESSENDEN -- Robert Weigelt, 70, Fessenden, died April 4, 2000 in the Harvey hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Concordia Lutheran Church, rural Fessenden, with burial in Hillside Cemetery, Fessenden. He is survived by his wife, Carol; one son, Robert, Minot; one daughter, Kay Jolly, Defiance, Mo.; two granddaughters; and one brother, Donald, Inver Grove Heights, Minn. Esther Bloedau
MOTT -- Esther Bloedau, 87, Mott, died April 5, 2000 in a Bismarck care center. Services will be held at 11 a.m. MDT Wednesday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mott. Further arrangements are pending with Bismarck Funeral Home.

A.N. "Tony" Hatzenbuhler
A.N. "Tony" Hatzenbuhler, 85, 408 15th St. N.W., Mandan, died April 5, 2000, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Robert Feeney officiating. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, today, until the time of services. A.N. "Tony" Hatzenbuhler was born Aug. 13, 1914, to Nick and Celestine (Leingang) Hatzenbuhler in St. Anthony. He was raised on a farm and educated in the St. Anthony and Solen areas. He worked for the Farmers Elevator in Solen from 1934 until the fall of 1936. He married Louise Geiger on Oct. 1, 1935 at the Sacred Heart Church at Solen. Tony and Louise moved to Dawson in the fall of 1936 where he managed the Farmers Elevator for one year. They moved back to Solen, where he managed the GTA elevator for 20 years. They then moved to a farm that was located a quarter of a mile north of Solen. Tony and Louise farmed there until November 1970, at which time they retired and moved to Mandan, where he lived until the time of his death. He served as a trustee of the Sacred Heart Church in Solen for many years. He also served on the Ambulance Butte School Board. He was active on the Morton County Organization Board, and was a member of the Eagles, Moose, and the Mandan Knights of Columbus. He loved to play cards, dance, camp, fish and travel. Tony and Louise enjoyed traveling with friends and relatives. Tony is survived by his wife, Louise, of 641Ú2 years, Mandan; three daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Frank George, Solen, Shirley and Earl Heinert, Bismarck, and Donna and Allan Belinskey, Bismarck; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Carol Hatzenbuhler, Solen; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, John P. and Florence Hatzenbuhler, Solen; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Betty Kautzman, Kent, Wash., Rose and Tony Geiss, Solen, and Mag Balkowitsch, Caroline and Al Kuntz, and Irene Glasser, all of Bismarck. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Nicholas; one grandson, Frank Darwin George; one brother and sister-in-law, Jacob and Francis Hatzenbuhler; one sister at birth; and three brothers-in-law, Bob Balkowitsch, Lawrence Glasser and Tony Kautzman. Tony always had time to help people in need. He was a true friend, a special husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He will be missed and loved by his family and friends.

Katherine Leno
TUTTLE -- Katherine Leno, 91, formerly of Tuttle, died April 7, 2000 in a Steele care center. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at English Lutheran Church, Tuttle, with the Rev. Allen Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Zion Langedahl Cemetery, Tuttle. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Sunday, at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck, and 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday, at the Eastgate Funeral Chapel, Steele. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, at Eastgate Funeral Chapel, Steele. Katherine was born Feb. 24, 1909, the daughter of Philip and Katherine (Schopp) Schweigert at Emery, S.D. In 1915, her family moved to Roundup, Mont. A year later, they moved to Plevena, Mont., where she spent her childhood and attended school. She and William Leno, Tuttle, were married on Nov. 19, 1928. They made their home on a farm southwest of that city. William died in 1982. She resided on the farm until she entered Golden Manor in the fall of 1997. Katherine enjoyed numerous activities along with her family functions. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, tatting, and other family activities. She especially enjoyed trips to Montana to visit her parents and other family members. She was a fine cook and spent many hours preparing for family reunions. Katherine was an active member of Zion Langedal Lutheran Church for many years, prior to its merging with the English Lutheran Church in Tuttle. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Walter Morlock, Bismarck; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Lyle and Marlys, and Lester and Pat, all of Tuttle, Dennis, Moorhead, Minn., John and Barbara, Bottineau, and Ronald and Roberta, Missoula, Mont.; 21 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Lydia Christman, Betty Christman and Caroline Herbst. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; one son, William Jr. "Billy", two infant sons, Philip and Gottlieb; and five brothers and two sisters. (Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck)
