Tyler James Dockter, 14, Pierre, S.D., died May 20, 2000 in a Pierre hospital. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Faith Lutheran Church, Pierre, with burial in Riverside Cemetery. SCRANTON -- Palmer G. Haugen, 65, Scranton, died May 20, 2000 in the Dickinson hospital. Services will be held at 3 p.m. MDT Tuesday, at Bowman Lutheran Church, with burial in Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery, Amidon. He is survived by his wife, Anne; nine daughters, Gwen Monson, Spokane, Wash., Dawn Hatch, Spokane, Kim Haugen, Bozeman, Mont., Shelly Zolman and Kari Lane, both of Spokane, Danyel Titus, Wahpeton, Kristy Haugen, Bismarck, Pamela and Amy Haugen, both of Scranton; three sisters, Alice Woehl, Dickinson, Rosella Schwartz and Mary Oberlander, both of New England; and three brothers, Dale and Orville Haugen, both of New England, and Obert, Amidon; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Freida Itrich
NEW SALEM -- Freida Itrich, 73, New Salem, died May 19, 2000 in the New Salem nursing home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. MDT Wednesday, at Peace Church, New Salem, with the Rev. Darrel Aleson officiating. Burial will be in Peace Cemetery, New Salem. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. MDT Tuesday, at Elm Crest Nursing Home, New Salem, and 3-8 p.m. MDT Tuesday and 9 a.m.-noon MDT Wednesday, at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, New Salem. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church. Freida was born on April 4, 1927 in New Leipzig, the daughter of John and Pauline (Imhoff) Wahler. She married Edwin Itrich on June 9, 1945 in Billings, Mont. She was a life long housewife and homemaker in her own home until becoming a resident of Elm Crest on May 22, 1985. Freida enjoyed playing cards, gardening, seeing her grandchildren, but most of all she loved visiting with people. She will be particularly remembered for her smile and loving heart. She is survived by her four sons and two daughters-in-law, Duane, Bismarck, Mike, New Salem, Darrell and Collette, New Salem, and Steve and Nina, Loveland, Ohio; four daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Kelly Quinn, Winnemucca, Nev., Jean and Harold Storsteen, Minot, Patty and Dave Auch, Mandan, and Peggy and Les Bethke, New Salem; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Art Wahler, Grand Forks; and one half-sister, Emma Reiger, Mott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, who died on June 9, 1999; her daughter, Julie; and several half-brothers and sisters. (Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan)

CARRINGTON -- Linda R. Reimers, 48, Carrington, died May 19, 2000 in a Fargo hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Grace Lutheran Church, Carrington, with burial in Carrington Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Arnold; two sons, Aaron, at home, and Mark, Greeley, Colo.; seven daughters, Maria Beach, Carrington, Lori Graves, Jordan, Minn., Jean Zerface, Garrison, Julie Krueger, Newhall, Iowa, Sandy Bauer, Minot, Susan Thomas, Pingree, Kerri Ring, Minot; her parents, Richard and Ann Peters, Superior, Wis.; and two sisters, Susan McCollum, and Tammy Nelson, both of Superior. MCCLUSKY -- Emma Rund, 98, McClusky, and formerly of Goodrich, died May 21, 2000 in the Turtle Lake hospital. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, at First Baptist Church, Goodrich. Further arrangements are pending with Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky.

Delton Schneider
FARGO -- Delton "Del" Schneider, 61, Fargo, died May 21, 2000 in a Fargo hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Hope Lutheran Church-South Campus, Fargo, with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo. Del was born June 25, 1938 in Golden Valley, to William and Ida (Richau) Schneider. He attended school in Coleharbor and graduated from Ft. Pierre High School in South Dakota. On June 14, 1959, Del married Mardy Trautman in Driscoll. He worked for Del-Mar Vending in Bismarck for 26 years. They moved to Fargo in 1994. He worked for the Frank McKone Company until December when he left due to ill health. Del is survived by his wife, Mardy Schneider, Fargo; one daughter, Sherry (Michael) Williams, Fargo; a sister, Vivian Quast, Bismarck; a brother, Donald (Wilhelmine) Schneider, Bismarck; and two grandsons, Taylor and Tory Williams, Fargo. Marie A. Ackerman
CARSON -- Marie A. Ackerman, 94, Carson, died May 21, 2000 in an Elgin care center. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. MDT at St. John's Lutheran Church, Carson, with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Elgin. She is survived by five nieces and two nephews, including Ruth Ensign and Norman Steinle, both of Bismarck. (Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home, Elgin)

WIMBLEDON -- LeRoy Eugene Ames, 61, Wimbledon, died May 21, 2000 in a Fargo hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at St. John's United Methodist Church, Wimbledon, with burial in Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline "Jaci" Ames, Wimbledon; three sons, Bradley, Horace, N.D.; Timothy, Wimbledon, and Mark, Spiritwood; three grandchildren; one brother, Eldred Ames, Minot; and one sister, Charlotte Carow, Edgeley. BELFIELD -- Carlye Ann Boltz, the infant daughter of Roger and Maureen Boltz, died May 21, 2000 in a Rochester, Minn. hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT today, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Belfield, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her parents; three sisters, Shauna, Talia and Chelsea, at home; and her grandparents, Lydia Boltz, Dickinson, and Don and Rose O'Brien, Belfield. (Mischel-Olson Chapel, Dickinson)

He is survived by his wife, Mary; one stepson, Robert Bosch, Grand Prairie, Texas; two stepdaughters, Diana Richter, Linton, and JoAnn Dougherty, Wilmington, Dela.; seven step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren; and one half-sister, Elsie Maier, Monroe, Wash. She is survived by her husband, Albert; six children, Harvey and Glenn Hibl, both of Denver, Colo., Diana Iverson, Sharon Coats, Bert Hibl and Tina Riviere, all of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; eight siblings, Albert Hondl, Dickinson, Millie Purdaems, South Heart, Frank Hondl, Lillian Kuchenski and Vince Hondl, all of Dickinson, Mary Vetter, Bismarck, and Pat Stewart, Drayton, and Fran Friedt, Dickinson. Arthur S. Kraft
FLASHER -- Arthur S. Kraft, 80, 218 4th Ave. E, Flasher, died May 21, 2000 at his residence. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. MDT Thursday, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Flasher, with the Rev. Kuriakose Kadiakala officiating. Burial will be in North Dakota Veterans' Cemetery at 1 p.m. MDT with a military committal service by the American Legion Schafer Boye Lange Post No. 69. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan. Visitation will continue at 4 p.m. MDT at St. Lawrence Church in Flasher, followed by a parish rosary at 7:30 p.m. MDT. Arthur was born on Jan. 15, 1920 in Shields, the son of Frank and Christina (Weist) Kraft. He was raised and educated in Shields. In 1941, he entered the US Army, which was the beginning of his highly decorated and dedicated four-year military service to his country. He was in the 164th Infantry serving in the South Pacific. While there he was wounded in action in 1945 at Luzon, South Pacific, and as a result, has had a lifelong disability. Arthur was awarded a number of medals, among them, the Purple Heart, 3 Bronze Stars, and other citations. His dedication to his country and the military continued as an active member of the American Legion Boye Schafer Post No. 69 in Flasher. While in the military he was on the US Army Boxing Team. His family was his pride and joy, especially his grandchildren, spending many hours with them teaching boxing techniques, fixing bikes and old cars. His love for the outdoors and nature were a source of enjoyment in particular, planting trees. Whenever he planted a tree, it would grow. These memories and his dedication will be cherished by his community and most of all his family. He is survived by his wife, Frances; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Terry and Dale, Flasher, Gene and Jolene, Clarkston, Mich., John, Moorhead, Minn., and Adrian, Bismarck; one daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Robert Young, Columbia, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one foster grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Joe, Benjamin, Martin and John; four sisters, Katie Bonogofsky, Apolonia Dressler, Margaret Schlosser, and Ann Kraft. The family prefers memorials to the Disabled American Veterans.

GRENORA -- Darrell Kueffler, 63, Grenora, died May 22, 2000 in the Williston hospital. Arrangements are pending with Everson Funeral Home, Williston.

Vera Ann Lloyd
HARVEY -- Vera Ann Lloyd, 100, Harvey, formerly of Fessenden, died May 22, in the Harvey hospital. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Nelson Funeral Home, Fessenden. Further arrangements are pending.

Bennie Manz
MERCER -- Bennie Manz, 79, Mercer, died May 20, 2000 in the Turtle Lake hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at McClusky Baptist Church, with burial in McClusky City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, and prior to the service at the church. Bennie was born on Aug. 20, 1920 in Beyerville Township, McLean County, the son of Wilhelm and Willimena Manz. He was reared and educated in Beyerville Township and attended Beyerville Township School. He lived his entire life on the family farm. On July 1, 1945, in the Sheridan County School House, he married Irene Burkart. He engaged in small grain and dairy farming and for a time had a trucking company that trucked cattle. He is survived by his wife, Irene; one son, Terry, Mercer; one brother, Carl, Minneapolis; and one sister, Litwina Stanfield, Minneapolis; many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-laws and sister-in-laws also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Bill, Ferdinand, Frank, Martin, Philip and Joe Manz and one sister, Teresa Manz. (Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot)
