Leonard Toelle, 87, of Beemer died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer.
Arrangements are pending at Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home in Beemer.

Katherine Brown
Katherine I. Brown, 91, of Fremont died today, June 7, 2004, at Nye Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fremont.
Arrangements are pending at Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont.

Dolores Busch
Dolores D. Busch, 86, of Neligh, formerly of Howells, died Friday, June 4, 2004, at Beverly Health Care Center in Neligh.
Dolores Yosten was born June 20, 1917, in Wisner. He attended grade school in Wisner, then graduated from Guardian Angels Catholic High School in West Point. He married Ralph C. Busch on Oct. 6, 1937, in Wisner. They farmed in the Wisner, Fremont, Snyder, Dodge, Clarkson and Leigh areas before retiring and moving to Howells in the mid 1970s. She moved to Neligh in 1993 when she was a resident at the nursing home. Her husband preceded her in death in 1997.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and a card club.
Survivors include: two daughters, Jeanette (Mrs. Robert) Jindra of Fort Madison, Iowa, and Doris (Mrs. Dennis) Ternus of Neligh; two sons, Burdette "Corky" (and wife, Lea) Busch of Dodge and Dean (and wife, Deb) Busch of Fort Gibson, Okla.; 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells with the Rev. Paul Ortmeier officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30-8 p.m. today and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, all at the church. Rosaries will be said at 3 and 7:30 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic cemetery in Howells.
Svoboda Funeral Home in Schuyler is in charge of arrangements.

Eldred Coufal
Eldred E. Coufal, 89, of Schuyler died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare in Schuyler.
Coufal was born March 3, 1915, in Colfax County, four miles west of Schuyler. He attended Schuyler Public Schools, graduating in 1933. He married Anna Marie Koudele on Nov. 17, 1936, in Omaha. He was affiliated with Coufal Lumber for more than 60 years.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus. He was past president of the Schuyler Chamber of Commerce. He was a former member of Schuyler Rotary Club. He served in the Schuyler Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years. He served on the Schuyler Board of Education and was active in St. Augustines Catholic Church.
Survivors include: his wife; four daughters, Ann (Mrs. Dick) Crawford of Bethany Beach, Del., Patricia Cox of Sanford, N.C., Mary (Mrs. Dwayne) Welch of Loveland, Colo., and Teresa (Mrs. George) Kretz of Schuyler; two sons, Robert (and wife, Judy) Coufal of Calabash, N.C., and William (and wife, Kathy) Coufal of Omaha; a brother, Francis Coufal of Portland; two sisters, Patricia Vrzak of Wichita, Kan., and Katherine "Kak" (Mrs. Harry) Chronister of Schuyler; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, a son-in-law and three brothers-in-law.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Augustines Catholic Church in Schuyler with the Rev. Gerald Leise officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Svoboda Funeral Home North Chapel in Schuyler and from 6:30-8 p.m. at the church. Visitation will continue from 9-10:15 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. A Study Club rosary will be said at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A Parish and Knights of Columbus rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Catholic cemetery in Schuyler.

Jacen Harleman
Jacen James Harleman, infant son of Joe and Sherri Harleman of Beemer, was born stillborn on Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
Arrangements are pending at Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home in Beemer.

Clarence Kampschneider
Clarence J. Kampschneider, 83, of Howells died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Parkview Nursing Home in Dodge.
Kampschneider was born Dec. 31, 1920, in Cuming County, north of Dodge. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Olean in rural Dodge. He married Caroline Franzluebbers on Sept. 27, 1949, in Olean. He farmed northeast of Howells in Stanton County, retiring in 1983. He moved to Howells in 1991.
He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells.
Survivors include: his wife; three sons, Loren (and wife, Deb) of Walton, John (and wife, Betty) of Omaha and Joe (and wife, Mary Jo) of Howells; six daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. Paul) Virgl of Weston, Betty (Mrs. Steve) Nelson of Lincoln, Theresa (Mrs. Chuck) Uher of Wilber, Ann (Mrs. Will) Jansky of Friend, Elaine (Mrs. Steve) Rodenbaugh of Seward and Marie (Mrs. Bill) Sander of Papillion; three brothers, Art (and wife, Lucille) of Fremont, Robert (and wife, Antoinette) of Dodge and Hubert of West Point; four sisters, Gertrude Heimann and Leona Heimann, both of Fremont, Alfrieda Wordekemper and Olivia (Mrs. Leo) Luebbert, all of West Point; a sister-in-law, Josephine Kampschneider of Howells; and 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, three brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells with the Rev. Paul Ortmeier officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to service time, all at the church. Rosaries will be said at 3 and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, both at the church. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic cemetery in Howells.

Alladee Settles
Alladee (Mrs. Leon F.) Settles, 74, of Bethany, Okla., formerly of North Bend, died Friday, June 4, 2004, at Bellevue Rehabilitation and Health Center in Oklahoma City.
Graveside services are pending at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend.

Anna Urkoski
Anna V. Urkoski, 91, of Genoa died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Morys Haven in Columbus.
Anna Czarnick was born Feb. 14, 1913, in Omaha. She married Edward Urkoski on April 12, 1937, in Krakow.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society.
Survivors include: a daughter, Mary Ann (and wife, Raymond) Boryca of Fullerton; four sons, Richard (and wife, Maxine) of North Bend, Bernard (and wife, Carol) of Omaha, Chester "Chet" and Bob, both of Genoa; a sister, Frances Urkoski of Columbus; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two grandsons, three sisters, three brothers and a daughter-in-law.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Krakow with the Revs. Mark Cyza and Robert Nienaber officiating. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home with an Altar Society rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a wake service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Krakow cemetery.
Rice Funeral Home in Genoa is in charge of arrangements.

Arlene Spath
Arlene F. Spath, 81, of Dorchester, Wis., died Monday, June 7, 2004, at St. Josephs Hospital in Marshfield, Wis.
Arlene Beckendahl was born May 16, 1923, in Stanton County. She graduated from Stanton High School and taught three years before her marriage to Warren Spath on Oct. 6, 1946. They farmed in Nebraska until 1958 when they moved to Dorchester and farmed there until 1978. She cooked for Holway Elementary for three years. In 1980, she started cooking for Dorchester Elementary School, retiring in the spring of 2002.
Survivors include: her husband; a daughter, Shirley (Mrs. Leon) Gonnering of Marshfield; three sons, Melvin Spath of Eau Claire, Wis., Merlin Spath of Lisle, Ill., and Lynn (and wife, Brenda) Spath of Medford, Wis.; two sisters, Dorothy Kirkpatrick of St. Joseph, Mo., and Betty Molacek of Columbus; two sisters-in-law, Ruth (Mrs. Bob) Steil of Scribner and Helen Spath of North Bend; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stetsonville, Wis., with the Rev. James Babler officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Maurina Funeral Home in Dorchester and continues one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran cemetery.

Blanche Willert
The funeral for Blanche M. Willert, 91, of Omaha will be 11 a.m. Friday at Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha.
She died Saturday, June 5, 2004, in Fremont.
She graduated summa cum laude from Wayne State College and was a retired teacher from Lewis and Clark Middle School.
She was a member of P.E.O.
Survivors include: three daughters, Colleen (Mrs. Roger) Dilley of Fremont, Holly Willert of Omaha and Sharon Apking of Alexandria; grandchildren, David Tappan (and wife, Vonda Apking) of Lincoln, Betsy Apking of Tucson, Ariz., and Carolyn (Mrs. Brian) Dempsey of Chatham, N.J., Christian Everett Willert Dilley of Orlando, Fla., and Catherine Dilley of Davis, Calif.; great-grandchildren, Hillari, Abigail and Maddie Apking, Samuel Everett and Calder Dempsey; a sister, Hazel Bruning of Mapleton, Iowa; sisters-in-law, Amy Lapcheska of Geneva, Rozella Lapcheska of Logansport, Ind.; a special cousin, Jim Wilson; six nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Wilson Willert, three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Omaha with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in Westlawn-Hillcrest cemetery.
Memorials have been established to the church, the Nebraska Childrens Home and the American Diabetes Association.

Dolores Kruse
Dolores A. Kruse, 82, of Lincoln died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, in Lincoln.
Dolores Reiter was born Sept. 15, 1921, in Sioux Falls, S.D.
She was a member of St. Marys Parish in Denton.
Survivors include: her husband, Darold Kruse; two daughters, Konnie (Mrs. Jim) Stranik of Lincoln and Kathie (Mrs. David) Ninneman of Denton; a brother, Vernon (and wife, Caryl) Reiter of Waterloo, Iowa; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 1720 Lake St., in Lincoln with the Rev. Jim Dawson officiating. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St., in Lincoln and continues one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.

David Langer
David B. Langer, 48, of Lincoln, formerly of Fremont, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at his parents home in Fremont.
Langer was born Sept. 28, 1955, in Fremont. He grew up in Fremont and was a 1973 graduate of Fremont High School. He attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont and graduated from St. Marys College in Omaha. For the past 25 years, he had lived in Lincoln and worked for Time Warner in the construction department.
Survivors include: his parents, John and Wilma (Osmera) Langer of Fremont.
A private family service will be Saturday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with the Rev. Richard Meyer of The Presbyterian Church in Fremont officiating. There is no visitation. Burial will be in Memorial cemetery in Fremont.
Memorials have been established to the American Cancer Society and the Arthritis Foundation.

Ruth Hull
Ruth V. Hull, 97, of Fremont died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont.
Arrangements are pending at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.
