M. Bernard Kellogg, 77
Fremont - Died at Hooper Care Center Wednesday morning.
He was born April 17, 1927 at Creighton, Nebraska and graduated from Creighton High School in1945. He served in the U.S. Navy in Hawaii from 1945 to 1947 and then moved to Orchard, Nebraska where he farmed and served as a Foods and Dairy Inspector for the State of Nebraska. He lived in South Sioux City Nebraska where he was employeed by the City Administrator from 1986 until moving to Fremont in 2000.
Martin B. Kellogg married Jeannine George at Ewing, Nebraska March 17, 1948.
He was a 58 year member of the American Legion, a member of the Orchard Lions Club, the Antelope County Fair Board, and was an Antelope County 4H leader and Legion Baseball Coach.

Susie Wettlaufer (husband Greg) of Page, NE
Katie McKinney (husband Steve) of Haywarden, Iowa

Michael Kellogg (wife Debbie) of Elkhorn
20 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren

A Memorial Service will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be sent at www.lattindugan.com.

Nellie Lavera Boothe, 86 of Fremont died December 1, 2004 at Fremont Area Medical Center.
She was born on January 16, 1918 at Meadow Grove, Nebraska to William and Edna (Tuttle) Fuller. She attended school in Fremont. She married James C. Boothe on April 1, 1935 in Madison, Nebraska.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Fremont.
Survivors include: her husband; four daughters, Julaine Hammond of Fremont, Donna (Mrs Richard) Watson of Lincoln, Charis (Mrs Delbert) Mach of Arlington, Washinton, Ethelanne (Mrs Gary) Sherman of Fremont. Three sons; Jonathan Boothe Sr. of Fremont, James (and wife Emma) Boothe Jr. of Miami, Oklahoma and Stephen (and wife Betty) Boothe of Fremont, two sisters; Yvonne (Mrs Howard) Ashberger of Wenatchee, Washington, Donna Menkveld of Highland, California; two brothers Athel (and wife Myrle) Fuller of Chadron, Nebraska, Morris Fuller of Ridgecrest, California; three sisters-in-law, Viola (Mrs Hans) Slette of Woodburn, Oregon, Beulah (Mrs Walter) McGuire of Harrisberg, Oregon and Hildred Fuller of Sacramento, California. 24 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by an infant grandson, a son-in-law, four brothers, a sister, three sister-in-laws and four brother-in-laws.
Memorial services will be Saturday, December 4, 2004, at 10:30, at the First Christian Church in Fremont. Rev. John Fairweather will officiate.
There is no visitation.

Dorothy A. Bridgeford, 89 of Fremont died Friday, December 10, 2004. at Arbor Manor Living Center.
She was born August 9, 1915. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy in O'neil, Nebraska in 1931. She was a homemaker, then worked at ITT in Omaha, later called Gerneral Electric until retirement. Moved to Fremont in 1994. She enjoyed her family, that was her life.
She married Milo Bridgeford in 1937, he preceded her in death.
Survived by 2 daughters, Karen (husband Ronald) Hall of Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska. Ruth Vaughan of Fremont. Son Milo Bridgeford of California. 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 8 great great-grandchildren.
There is no Visitation. Private family services will be held.

Charles B. May

Charles Burton May, 72 of Fremont passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at Fremont Area Medical Center.
He was born April 23, 1932 in Fremont and lived most of his life here. Graduated from Fremont High School in 1950. Attended and graduated from Midland Lutheran College in 1955. He became a teacher and taught in Beemer, Nebraska and then Elkhorn, Nebraska. He then came back to Fremont High and taught Bookkeeping their for 19 years. He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus.
He married Patricia Bouer on August 12, 1952. She preceded him in death May 3, 1989.
Survived by:
5 sons, Shawn (wife Susie) May of Fremont. Rory (wife Robyne) May of Bradon, Florida, Brian May of Kansas City, Missouri, Mike (wife Janet) May of Glenwood, Iowa, and Darren May of Fremont.
1 Daughter, Lori (husband Dave) Wilkinson of Omaha.
13 grandchildren
Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 18th at 9:30AM, at St. Patricks Catholic Church. A wake service will be Friday, December 17th at 7:00PM at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00PM to 8:00PM. Burial will be in Ridge cemetery. Memorials have been established to the Fremont YMCA and the Fremont Area Medical Center Foundation.

Nora E. Beyer

Nora E. Beyer, 86
Fremont - Died at Nye Point Friday night.
She was born May 27, 1918 in Greenville, Missouri and was raised in the Omaha area. She graduated from Omaha North High School in 1936 and then attended Beauty School and worked in Omaha. She lived in San Francisco, California then returned to Omaha. She then lived in Cadillac, Michigan and St. Paul, Minnesota before moving to Fremont.
Nora E. Mabrey married William Beyer November 16, 1940 in Omaha. He died December 11, 1981.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

one Daughter; Linda Schuette of Fremont

Patti Fulmer (husband Rich) of Wauconda, Illinois Jeffery Beyer of New Mexico

Services will be Wednesday December 22 at 11:00 A.M. at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Chapel. Rev. Leland Foreman officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., the family will be present from 6:30 to 8:00. A memorial has been established to the First Baptist Church.
Burial in Forest Lawn cemetery in Omaha.

Lorraine T. Vodehnal, 72
Fremont - Lorraine T. Vodehnal, 72, passed away Friday evening January 7, 2005 surrounded by immediate family. She was born November 21, 1932 in Litchfield, Nebraska and was raised in Loup City, graduating from Loup City High School in 1950. Lorraine Tesmer married Donald Vodehnal August 23, 1952 in Loup City, Nebraska and to that union four children were born. After some time in Kansas, Colorado, Chadron and Norfolk, Nebraska she settled in Fremont in 1964. She worked for Mary Moppet's Day Care and Fremont Area Medical Center until her retirement in 1997.
She was an active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, St. Joan of Arc Circle, Eucharistic Ministry, Bible study group, and dedicated to supporting the Right To Life Organization. Lorraine loved gardening, sewing, playing bridge, baking and spending time with her many special neighbors and friends. But her true passion was her marriage, family, and faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Barbara Tesmer, sister Louise Badura, brothers Alfonse, Irvin, and Lee Tesmer. She is survived by her sisters Delores Gmuca, Delphine Michalek, Emma Siegel, and Sylvia Mendyk, husband Don Vodehnal, daughters Janel (husband Chuck) Hibberd and Kris Vodehnal, Sons Bill (wife Tracey) Vodehnal and John (wife Deidre) Vodehnal, and grandchildren Matt and Katie Hibberd and a blessing soon to come.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Wednesday January 12 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Roland Peschel officiating. The burial will be at Calvary cemetery immediately following the funeral mass. The Rosary will be recited Tuesday, January 11 at 7:00 P.M. at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel. There will be no visitation. There have been memorials established to St. Patricks Catholic Church Endowment Fund and Right To Life. Condolences may be sent at www.lattindugan.com.
Lorraine Vodehnal leaves this world with humble dignity and towering faith. She will be deeply missed by those she has touched in simple and unique ways.

Suzanne M. Grisham, 37
Elkhorn - Died Sunday January 9, 2005 at Bergan Mercy Hospice House.
She was born May 23, 1967 at Lincoln, Nebraska and was raised in Omaha graduating from Marion High School in 1985. Suzanne attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1989. She taught elementary school for the Omaha Public Schools for five years and then moved to Fremont in 1996 where she was a substitute teacher in the Fremont Public Schools. She moved to Elkhorn in 2003.
Suzanne Ursick married W. Kent Grisham June 8, 1991 in Omaha.
She was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Omaha. She was past president of her Beta Sigma Phi Chapter in Fremont and was active in the Republican party, serving on the Douglas County Central Committee and as a Delegate to the Republican state convention. She also volunteered with Emergency Pregnancy Services in Omaha.

Husband Kent
Two Children: Kali, 11 and Will, 4 both at home
Mother: Sharon Ursick of Omaha
1 sister: Kathleen Chattin of Omaha
2 brothers: John A. Ursick Jr. of Omaha and Dr. Joseph Ursick of Kansas City, Kansas
She was preceded by her father and one sister
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at King of Kings Lutheran Church in Omaha. The family will be present for visitation at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday. There has been a memorial established to the Grisham Children's Education.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn cemetery in Omaha

Pauline Edna Robinson

Pauline Robinson, 83, of Scribner, Nebraska, formerly of Delhi, Iowa died on Sunday, January 16, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital at West Point, Nebraska.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, January 18th at Good Samaritan Center in Scribner at 10:00 A.M. with Chaplain Sandra Palmer officiating. Their will be visitation one hour preceding the service.
Pauline Edna Robinson was born April 25, 1921 in Delhi, Iowa. She married David Robinson on April 3, 1943 and she raised five children with humor and love. Pauline enjoyed pllaying cards, bingo and bowling.
Survived by 4 sons: Dennis (wife Melody) Robinson of Ottumwa, Iowa. Eric (wife Sharon) Robinson of Yutan, Nebraska, Mark (wife Michele) Robinson of Peyton, Colorado, Tim (wife Keri) Robinson of Pender, Nebraska. Daughter Nancy Nish of Las Vegas, Nevada. A sister Izetta Stumbaugh of Eugene, Oregon. 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
Burial will be Friday, January 21st in Delhi, Iowa.

Nancy L. Charles, 76, of Fremont.
Died on Monday, January 17, 2005, at Arbor Manor Living Center in Fremont.
She was born November 10, 1928 to J. Earl and Nell Thompson in Omaha. She grew up in Omaha graduating from North High School. She was a homemaker all of her life and loved to play the piano and work in her garden.
She is survived by: John W. (Bill) Charles, Three sons: John (wife Melodie) Charles of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Robert (wife Cindy) Charles of Las Vegas, Nevada, James Charles and Michelle Charles, both of Fremont, a sister, Betty (Mrs. Don) Werner of Sacramento, California.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
