Visitation: From 2-6 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Wednesday all at the funeral home.

90, Lincoln, died Saturday, March 3, 2007. She was born May 23, 1916 in Ringgold, Louisiana. She was a retiree of Lincoln Telephone Company and a long-time member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

Hazel Mae Tumblin
96, Firth, formerly of Lincoln, widow of Clinton Tumblin, Jr. was born in Wymore, NE on 2-13-1911 to William and Minnie (Snook) Shaw. She died in Firth, NE on 3-31-2007 surrounded by her loving family. Hazel is a member of Northeast United Church of Christ, Myrtle Chapter, O.E.S. Past member of Epworth Methodist Church and Faith United Methodist Church. Hazel retired from Cushman Shipping office in 1981. She was also employed at Elgin Watch Company.
Visitation: Visitation will be 2 – 8 p.m., Tuesday at Metcalf Funeral Home, with the family greeting friends from 6 – 8 p.m.
Service: Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, 4-3-07 at Northeast United Church of Christ, 6200 Adams St.
cemetery: Burial will be at the Wymore City cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, four brothers, and grandson, Jason Tumblin.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Lakeview Nursing Home staff for the kindness and care extended to Mom during her lengthy stay.

Carl Shefferd, 73, of Lincoln, died March 6, 2009. He was born July 21, 1935 in Stella, Nebraska, to Ira and Maybelle (Shafer) Shefferd. He was a machine operator at Browning Manufacturing Co. He was a member of Capitol City Christian Church, DAV, VFW, and Moose Lodge.

Clifford S. Morter
Clifford S. Morter, 85, of Lincoln, died Monday, March 9, 2009. He was born May 11, 1923 in Lyons, NE to Silas & Bessie (Cline) Morter. He was a member of the American Legion Post #3, VFW Post 3606, he attended Northeast United Church of Christ. He was a former member of the Lincoln Moose Lodge #175 and Moose Dance Club. He served in WWII for the US Army. He was a retired sheet metal worker for Bryant Heating and Air Conditioning.
Visitation: Visitation: 10:00 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and 8 a.m. until service time on Thursday.
