Beulah Johnson
The funeral for Beulah I. Johnson, 93, of Fremont will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fremont Alliance Church.
She died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Fremont Area Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 21, 1911, in Blair. She grew up in Blair and graduated from Blair High School. She married Clifford Johnson on May 20, 1933, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. The couple farmed in Scribner from 1940-1987 before moving to Fremont. Her spouse preceded her in death on Sept. 14, 1993.
She was a member of Fremont Alliance Church, Christian Womens Association and an Extension Club in Scribner. She was a former Sunday School teacher and she held Bible study groups in her home.
Survivors include: two sons, Robert (and wife, Sharon) Johnson of Scribner and Richard (and wife, Rita) Johnson of Fremont; two daughters, Ellen (Mrs. Dennis) Hansen of ONeill and Jacqueline Cosseboom of Fremont; a brother, Chris (and wife, Kay) Gutschow of Fremont; three sisters, Erna Engelke and Margaret Metzler, both of Blair, and Cathy Giesselmann of Fremont; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
The Rev. Tom Nevius will officiate Tuesdays service. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Monday with friends receiving family from 6-8 p.m. Visitation continues from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, all at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Another visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Memorial cemetery in Fremont.
A memorial has been established to Billy Graham Crusade. Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.

Ada Larsen
Ada Grace Larsen, 91, of Lyons died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at Logan Valley Manor in Lyons.
She was born April 20, 1913, in Greenwood. She attended country school in the Pender area through the eighth grade. She married Paul Larsen on Jan. 3, 1929, in Council Bluffs. The couple made their home in Lyons where she was a homemaker. Her spouse preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 1991.
She was a member of Presbyterian Church and V.F.W. Auxiliary in Lyons.
Survivors include: a son, Paul (and wife, Glenise) Larsen of Hastings; a daughter, Beverly Wilt of Lyons; three sisters, Ellen Beaudette of Lyons, Bernice Fendrick and Daisy Pointer, both of Emerson; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Lyons with the Rev. Gary Fugman officiating. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Monday at Palmquist-Pelan Funeral Home in Oakland. Visitation continues one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Lyons cemetery.

Johanna Meusborn
The funeral for Johanna W. Meusborn, 104, of Milford, formerly of Malmo, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Edensburg Lutheran Church in Malmo.
She died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at Sunrise Country Manor in Milford.
She was born May 14, 1900, in Pleasant Dale. She married Richard J. Meusborn in 1918, in Emerald. The couple moved to Seattle, and then returned to live in Pleasant Dale until 1933, at which time they moved to Malmo. Her spouse preceded her in death on March 10, 1966. She continued to live in Malmo until she moved to Sunrise Country Manor in 1999.
Survivors include: a son, Richard (and wife, Huguette) Meusborn of Shawnee, Kan.; a daughter, Laverne Barry of Milford; a brother, Ervin Sieck of Seward; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The Rev. Milana Joseph will officiate Tuesdays service. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Edensburg Lutheran cemetery in Malmo.
Memorials have been established to Edensburg Lutheran Church and Sunrise Country Manor. Pruss-Nabity Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Aaron Niebaum
The funeral for Aaron W. "Jack" Niebaum, 96, of Fremont will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fremont.
He died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Arbor Manor in Fremont.
He was born Feb. 12, 1908, on the family farm near Fontanelle to Herman and Lena (Boschult) Niebaum. He attended grade school at Fontanelle and graduated from Fremont High School. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1932 with a degree in agriculture. He also had played baseball for the university and played trumpet in the university band. He farmed for four years, was employed by the University of Nebraska Extension Service, then employed by Union Central Life Insurance in Beatrice. He also had worked for the Federal Land Bank in Columbus. He moved to Fremont in 1943, where he owned and operated Niebaum Motor Company for 20 years, selling Studebaker automobiles. Then in 1965, he became the clerk of the district court of Dodge County, retiring after 13 years.
He married Helen Wilkening on June 16, 1937, and they had celebrated their 67th anniversary.
He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Fremont where he had served on the church council and sang in the choir for more than 50 years. He was charter member of the Optimist Club. He was an alumni member of the University of Nebraska Marching Band.
Survivors include: his wife; two sons, Gary Niebaum of Potter Valley, Calif., and Roger (and wife, Judy) Niebaum of Fremont; a daughter, Marci (Mrs. Gerald) Giesing of Omaha; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Wilkening of Arlington; a brother-in-law, Clarence "Kelly" Wilkening of Fremont; three grandchildren, Traci Langland, Kelli Mougin and David Niebaum; two stepgrandchildren, five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The Revs. Michael Thomas and Delvin Hutton will officiate Fridays service. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. today at Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont and will continue one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Memorial cemetery in Fremont.
A memorial has been established to Salem Lutheran Church.

Maxine Padmore
The funeral for Maxine A. Padmore, 79, of Fremont will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.
She died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at Fremont Area Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 31, 1925, in Hitchcock, S.D., to George and Bernice (Bloodgood) Newell. She grew up and attended school in Hitchcock. She married Charles L. Padmore on May 15, 1943, in Highmore, S.D. After their marriage, they moved to Huron, S.D. They moved to Fremont in 1946. Her spouse died on Dec. 19, 2000. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fremont.
Survivors include: a daughter, Patti Padmore of Stockton, Calif.; a brother, Loren (and wife, Marilyn) Newell of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two sisters, Larraine (Mrs. Curt) Schimke of Wessington Springs, S.D. and Marie Delavoux of Moses Lake, Wash.; many nieces and nephews including Brenda (Mrs. John) Bauer of Ranier, Minn.; many dear friends and neighbors.
She also was preceded in death by her parents George and Bernice; three sisters, Evelyn Weiss, Alice Dilly and Joyce Walters; and two brothers, Harold and William Newell.
Pallbearers will be: Lyle Martin, John Vacek, Gene and Cory Coufal, Jeff Neville, and Roger Brimmerman. Honorary pallbearers are: Lana Hunke, Cristy Bloom, Beth Richardson, Cindy Hart and Barb Brimmerman.
The Rev. Greg Hall of First United Methodist Church in Fremont will officiate Tuesdays service. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Monday with family receiving friends 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge cemetery in Fremont.
Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.

Esther Wehmeyer
Esther S. Wehmeyer, 86, of Fort Collins, Colo., died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Columbine Health Care Center in Fort Collins.
She was born Oct. 8, 1918, in Sterling, Colo., to Alexander and Kathryn (Wiedeman) Sinner. At age 21 she moved to Denver. She was employed by Western Electric and Gates Rubber Company. She married Dorwin "Speed" Wehmeyer on May 7, 1949. They lived in Denver for many years. Her husband preceded her in death Dec. 2, 2001.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she served as a deacon, Bible class instructor and had many other responsibilities.
Survivors include: two sons, Stephen (and wife, Vicki) and Bruce of Fort Collins; a brother, George Sinner of Boulder, Colo.; four sisters, Eleanor Beran of Broomfield, Colo., Eva Boone of Littleton, Colo., Neva Beavers of Grand Junction, Colo., and Betty Towe of Aurora, Colo.; four grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She also was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Denver. Family viewing will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in Denver.
A memorial has been established to the church.

Dorothy Bridgeford
Dorothy A. Bridgeford, 89, of Fremont died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, at Arbor Manor Living Center in Fremont.
She was born Aug. 9, 1915. She graduated from St. Marys Academy in ONeill in 1931. She was a homemaker, then worked at ITT in Omaha, later called General Electric, until retirement. She moved to Fremont in 1994.
She married Milo Bridgeford in 1937. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two daughters, Karen (Mrs. Ronald) Hall of Cedar Bluffs and Ruth Vaughan of Fremont; a son, Milo Bridgeford of California; 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
There is no visitation. A private family service will be held.
Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.

Celestine Hagemann
Celestine C. "Sally" (Borer) Hagemann, 79, of Elkhorn died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, at Seven Oaks of Florence in Omaha.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph Borer and the late Antoinette (Bierman) Borer.
Survivors include: three daughters, Ruth Hagemann, Judy Hoppe of Albion and Sally (Mrs. George) Stidham of Mountain Home, Ark.; five sons, Jerry (and wife, Karen) Hagemann of Albion, the Rev. John Hagemann of Elkhorn, Bob (and wife, Sue) Hagemann of Yutan, Jim (and wife, Susie) Hagemann of Albion and Alan (and wife, Sandy) Hagemann of Elkhorn; four sisters, Rita Daly of Omaha, June Simons of Mead, Claire Pelster and Bernice Spieker, both of Petersburg; three brothers, Victor Borer of Albion, Joe Borer of Indiana and Lawrence Borer of Elgin; 28 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Albion with the Rev. Frank Baumert officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday with a vigil service at 7 p.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Elkhorn with the Rev. Ron Wasikowski officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael cemetery in Albion.
A memorial has been established to Mount Michael Abbey.
Reichmuth Funeral Home Inc. in Elkhorn is in charge of arrangements.

Lorna Horst
Lorna A. Horst, 79, of Omaha died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, in Omaha.
She was born Nov. 18, 1925, in Wisner to Henry and Antonia Horst. She graduated from Beemer High School in 1944 and from Bishop Clarkson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1954. She was a registered nurse of 44 years in the Omaha area and retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital.
She was a longtime member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
Survivors include: a sister, Arlene Johnson of Fremont.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bethany Lutheran Church, 5151 NW Radial Highway, in Omaha. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Tuesday at Braman Mortuary, 1702 N. 72nd St., in Omaha with the family present from 6-8 p.m. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Beemer cemetery.
