Ollider Choplick
Dec. 10, 1933 - Nov. 13, 2002
Ollider Richard (Chops) Choplick died Nov. 13 at his La Vista home. He was 68.
Funeral services were Nov. 15 at St. Gerald Catholic Church in Ralston. The Rev. Gary Ostrander officiated. Interment was at Glenwood cemetery.
Choplick was born in Mason Town, Pa., on Dec. 10, 1933, the son of Andy and Catherine (Verska) Choplick.
He was married to Jeanette (Brandon) Choplick and worked as a soap miller at Purex-Dial Corp. for 37 years. Choplick was a member of St. Gerald and had a love of building and flying remote-control airplanes and camping.
Donations can be sent to the family.

Francis Hart
Aug. 5, 1936 - Nov. 8, 2002
Funeral services were Nov. 12 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church for Papillion resident Francis Aloysius Hart. He was 66.
Interment was at Cedar Dale cemetery. The Rev. Steven J. Stillmunks officiated. Pallbearers were Tony Hart, Richard Kleckner, David Cook, Jeff Petersen, Al Stephens and Scott Rima. Papillion American Legion Post No. 32 presented graveside military honors.
A wake service was Nov. 18. Deacon Jerry Overkamp officiated.
Hart was born Aug. 5, 1936, in Indianapolis, the son of Maxwell T. and Anna M. (Westphal) Hart. He served in the United States Air Force from July 1957 to April 1961.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughter Linda Hart, Ralston; son Tony Hart, Omaha; granddaughter Jessica Kleckner and her husband Richard, Omaha; great-granddaughters Dezi and Lily Kleckner; brother John Hart and his wife Barbara, Ladson, S.C.; and three nephews.

Robert J. Shepherd Sr.
March 27, 1924 - Oct. 30, 2002
Funeral services were Nov. 2 at St. Francis of Assisi Church for former Springfield resident Bob Shepherd, who died Oct. 30 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha.
He was 78.
Interment was at St. John's cemetery in Bellevue. The Rev. Carl J. Zoucha officiated. Pallbearers were Ed Kusek, Jim Kusek, Doug Kusek, Tom Webster, Mark Adamson and Mark Shepherd.
Shepherd was married to Clara Kusek, who preceded him in death. He retired from Omaha Public Power District and lived at Papillion Manor prior to his death.
He is survived by sons Robert J. Shepherd, Jr. and his wife Kristin and Richard Shepherd and his wife Suzanne; grandchildren Matthew, Mark, Katie and Jill Shepherd; sisters Ruth Whitney, Catawba, Wis., and Berdetta McBride, Springfield; brother Ernest Shepherd, Shelter Island, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.

Steven Gormley
Nov. 20, 1961-April 10, 2003
Steven James Gormley died Thursday April 10 at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha at the age of 41 years.
Steven was born on November 20, 1961 in Lincoln, Nebraska the son of Robert W. and Rita A. (Stone) Gormley.
Steven was employed with First Data Resources as a Business Systems Analyst. He is survived by his wife Marsha, daughters Lydia Lutz of Lexington, Texas, Jessi Lutz of Papillion, mother Rita Gormley, brothers and sisters-in-law Dennis and Pat Gormley, Ron and Connie Gormley all of Lincoln, Nebraska. Many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 1 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 14, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary. Memorial Service was at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 15 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Papillion. Dr. Dan Flanagan officiated.
Pallbearers were Gail Figg, Tom Lima, Bob Felske, Rob Parlor and John Guilfoil.
Honorary Pallbearers were Brad Mount, Paul Tyrrel, Dick McKie.
Interment was at Wyuka cemetery in Lincoln. Memorials can be sent to the family's choice.

Glennys J. Bosak
Oct. 3, 1938-April 10, 2003
Glennys J. Bosak died on Thursday April 10, 2003 in Papillion at the age of 64.
Glennys was born in Platte Center on Oct. 3, 1938, the daughter of Benjamin and Caroline (Theil) Killman.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by husband Raymond, daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Max Jordan of Gretna, sons and daughters-in-law Cliff and Brenda Bosak of Gretna, Mark and Candy Bosak of Eagle, Nebraska, son Andy Bosak of Gretna, grandchildren Jenny, Josh, Rachel, Jeff, Tony, Lacey, Shayla, Tasha, Shawn, Brett, great-grandchildren Tylor, Calvin, Mitchell, brother Alan Killham of Florida, sisters Mary Hawthorne of Nebraska, Gere Keith of Nebraska, many nieces and nephews
Visitation was from 1 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 13, with a Rosary Service at 6 p.m. at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary.
Services were Monday April 14 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Gretna with the Rev. Daniel F. Soltys officiating.
Pallbearers were Jeff Raigenborn, Tony Jordan, Josh Bosak, Shawn Hopkins, Brett Hopkins, Rick Konwinski, Eric Johnson. Interment Greenwood cemetery in Greenwood.
Memorials can be sent to family's choice.

Willard L. Anderson
July 8, 1924-April 13
Willard L. Anderson died Sunday April 13, 2003 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 78 years old.
Willard was born July 8, 1924 in Oasis, Utah the son of Peter and Abagail (Christensen) Anderson. He was preceded in death by wife Rowena and grandson Tony Anderson. He is survived by daughters Dawn Brixley of Omaha, Toni Brandt of Lyons, Oregon; sons Lesley J. Anderson of Omaha, Lawrence S. Anderson of Billings Mont., Paul R. Anderson of Minnesota,
Elvin N. Anderson of Alexandria, Va., William C. Smith of Carter Lake; 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was from 1 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary in Papillion.
Services were at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 16, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints/Papillion Ward, with Bishop Brad Ward officiating. Pallbearers were Kirk Schuster, Jimmy Anderson, Dave Mixon, Brian Anderson, Pat Schuster Adam Smith.
Interment was at Fairview cemetery in Papillion. Memorials can be sent to the American Diabetes Foundation.

Colleen Greene
Colleen June (Fromm) Greene, a lifelong resident of Imperial, Neb. died Wednesday morning, July 26, 2006, at the Chase County Community Hospital of Imperial, at the age of 77 following a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 15, 1928 in Hastings, Neb. and was adopted as an infant by Earnest W. and Maude L. Fromm of Imperial. As an only child she grew up in Imperial and graduated from Chase County High School in 1946.
On Sept. 8, 1948, Colleen was united in marriage to Glenard D. Greene, and to this union three children were born: Jamie D., Timmie D. and Dirk G.
During her life she heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ and by faith believing God's Word, trusted Jesus to be her personal Savior and Lord. One of her favorite scriptures was: "And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life...." I John 5:11-13a. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Imperial for over 50 years.
Colleen was a full-time wife, mother and grandmother, devoting much of her time and energy to her beloved family and household. As a farmers wife she was supportive and encouraging all the days of her life. Her sons and husband praise her for a life of self-sacrifice and honor. She was a caring, loving and giving grandmother who had a special fondness for her grandchildren. Her family has been greatly blessed by her influence and godliness.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Earnest and Maude Fromm; infant daughter, Jamie Dawn Greene; father and mother in-law, Joseph and Vera Greene; brother-in-law, George King and sister-in-law, Gloria Greene.
Survivors include her husband, Glenard; children: Tim and wife, Jacqueline, of Imperial, Dirk and wife, Linda, of Imperial; grandsons: Aaron Greene and wife, Erica, Ryan Greene and wife, Jane and granddaughter Emily Greene, all of Imperial; brother-in-law, Joseph J. Greene of McCook, Neb.; sister-in-law, Virginia King of Imperial and brother-in-law, Carroll Greene and wife, Ruth of Ogallala, Neb.; other relatives, friends and neighbors.
A graveside service for the family was held at Mount Hope cemetery in Imperial, Monday morning, July 31, 2006 with Pastor Kay Alnor officiating and Pat McNair, vocalist.
A memorial has been established in Colleen's memory.
Liewer Funeral Home of Imperial was in charge of arrangements.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalms 116:15.

Westyn Rhesa Struckmeyer
Westyn Rhesa Struckmeyer was born on March 17, 2005 in Greeley, Colo. to Damon and Pam (Smith) Struckmeyer and became the baby brother of Mariah Jordan, Sidney Everett and Baylor Leon.
Westyn was baptized on Jan. 1, 2006 at the United Methodist Church in Holyoke, Colo.
He passed away on July 17, 2006.
He touched many lives in his short time here on earth and was free with his smiles, giggles and hugs. He enjoyed playing trucks, trains and helping his brothers and cousin Austen. He loved going to help Dad and Papa Lee. Westyn attended Julie Jones Daycare, Nicole Clark Daycare, the Wray Community Child Care Center and the home of Karen Merritt.
He is preceded in death by great-grandfathers, Kenneth Cranwell, Everett Struckmeyer, Frank Ferguson, L.D. Spears; great-grandmother, Doris Struckmeyer Ferguson and his aunt, Melinda Hansen Struckmeyer.
Surviving him in death are his mother, father and siblings of the family home; grandparents, Lee and Bev Struckmeyer of Holyoke, Colo., Marynell Spears of Sterling, Colo., Don and Linda Smith of Clayton, Calif. and Marcia and Chester Zwirn of Vernon, Colo.; great-grandparents, Marge Cranwell of Wray, Colo., Don and Lois Smith of Austin, Colo. and Mary Beth Spears of Fairbanks, Alaska; Godparents, Steve and Amy May and Andrea Zwirn and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held at the First United Methodist Church of Holyoke on Monday, July 24, 2006, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Darrell Dennis officiating.
Interment was in the Holyoke Memorial Park in Holyoke.
Memorials may be made to the Dragon Wagon Preschool and/or the Westyn Struckmeyer Scholarship Fund for Swim Lessons.
Arrangements were made by the Spellman-Schmidt Funeral Home in Wray, Colo.

Mary Sullivan
Mary Alyce Sullivan was born on Oct. 2, 1925 in Omaha, Neb. She was the third of five children born to William and Margaret Larkin Fenton.
Mary Alyce grew up in Omaha, graduating from St. Joseph High School in 1943.
Margaret eventually became employed as a branch manager in the Benson area for Commercial Savings and Loan.
Mary Alyce was married to Bill Sullivan on Nov. 12, 1955 in Omaha. In 1958 they moved to the Wallace, Neb. area and eventually made their farm home south of Wallace in Hayes County.
She entered the Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial, Neb., in June and had been transferred to the Imperial Manor nursing home where she died Friday morning, July 21, 2006. She had reached the age of 80.
Mary Alyce was an active member of the Wallace St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She sang for weddings, funerals and other special events for over 40 years. She also belonged to the Jolly Farmerettes for several years.
Mary Alyce was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, William, Jerry, John and Phillip Fenton.
She is survived by her husband Bill; four daughters, Mary Therese and her husband Doug Carey of Lincoln, Kathy Sullivan of Scottsbluff, Neb., Lori and her husband Doug Beals of Lincoln and Noreen and her husband Bob Placek of Alliance, Neb.; one son Bill and his wife Marianne Sullivan of Imperial; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; other relatives and friends.
Rosary was recited on Monday, July 24, 2006, at the Wallace St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday July 25, 2006, at St. Mary's Church with Father Mark Pfeiffer officiating.
Burial was in the Wallace cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the church.
Bullock-Long Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
