Together with her husband, Ted, received the 1997 Harold Hill Humanitarian Award for Service from the Red Cross. Pat brought many Red Cross programs to the Lincoln Public Schools and for building a strong campus Red Cross at UNL. Former board member, Capital City Humane Society. They lived in Ohio and Michigan before moving to Lincoln in 1938, where he worked for Security Mutual Life Insurance Company, where he served as president for many years. Accompanied her husband to local, district and international Kiwanis functions. Moved to Colorado Springs in 1991.
