Graduated, Lincoln High School, 1922; University of Nebraska, 1927 with bachelor's in education. Taught at various places. Moved to Swanton, 1929. Married, 5/18/36. Lived on farm near Swanton. Worked at AAA in Wilber then went back to teaching. Saline County Superintendent, 1956-58. Continued teaching until retiring in 1971. Member, Swanton Methodist Church, Community Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Alpha Gamma.

Member: Hickman Presbyterian Church, Church Women's Association, also sang in the choir and for special occasions for over 40 years; Eastern Star, held several offices at the state and local levels.
