Irene Mae Maul, 80, of Lincoln, died September 21, 2009.
Irene was born April 29, 1929 to John and Anna (Freihe) Eitel in Lincoln.
She worked 25 years as a secretary at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company of Lincoln, retiring in 1993.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Martin of Lincoln; three sons, Michael (Debra) Maul, Steven (Tracey) Maul and Jerry (Nancy) Maul all of Lincoln; one sister, Gladys Herstein of Lincoln; five grandchildren, Joshua, Sara, Grant, Taylor and Alex all of Lincoln; one great-grandchild, Koston.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A. Street, Lincoln 68510.
Pastor John Kunze will officiate. Interment will follow in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 9:00A-9:00P, Wednesday, September 23 at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends from 6:00P-8:00P.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Leta E. Garner Age 86 of Lincoln died Thursday September, 17 2009. Leta was married
to Lloyd Garner & was the youngest of 11 children of William Bringewatt and Anna (Frede) Bringewatt, Born in Daykin, NE. Member of St. Marks Lutheran Church
She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd in March of 2004.
Graveside Friday 9-25-09 2:00 in Wyuka cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 9am-9pm at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Lincoln Food Bank.
Keef, John "Jack" L.
John “Jack” L. Keef, 66, of Lincoln, NE passed away Saturday (9/26/09) at his home. He was born to Charles and Betty Keef in Lincoln, NE. He owned several successful auto dealerships throughout his career. He lived life to its fullest; he enjoyed golf, Husker football & tailgating, family, friends and spending winters inScottsdale, AZ with his wife.
He is survived by his wife Mary Keef, Lincoln; his mother Betty Keef, of Scottsdale, AZ; his son, Jim Keef of Glendale, AZ; his step-daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Doug Emery of Lincoln; his step-son, Dan Varga of Lincoln; four grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and many loving friends. Preceded in death by his father Charles Keef.
Memorial services will be held Friday (10/2/09) 4:00 p.m. at Butherus Maser and Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street, Lincoln, NE.

Kahm, Jeanette (Humphrey)
Jeanette "Nana" (Humphrey) Kahm, Lincoln, died peacefully at home, September 24, 2009, surrounded by her family. Jeanette and her twin brother, Jerry, were born 9/6/1932 to Frances (Crellin) and George Humphrey in Crete, Neb. She graduated from Lincoln High School and married
Robert (Bob) Kahm on 7/6/1952. Jeanette was a secretary at Northeast High School for 20 years before she opened Humpty Dumpty Consignment Shop along with her daughter, Diane Humpal. Jeanette's warm, vivacious personality and dedication to her business made Humpty Dumpty a success for 20 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of 57 years, Bob; sister, Vera Hatz, Hemet, Calif.; daughter, Janet (Don) Rossbach, Shawnee, Kan.; son, Richard (Sharon) Kahm; daughter, Diane Humpal; grandchildren, Keenan and Jennifer Kahm and Joe Humpal, all of Lincoln; Jesse (Katie) Humpal, San Antonio; Danny Rossbach, Shawnee; great-granddaughter, Kierra Kahm, Lincoln; nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry and Robert Humphrey; son-in-law, Rodney Humpal; and great-grandchildren, Kinsey and Liam Kahm. Plock, Rex
Rex Plock, 89, of Lincoln, died Sunday, October 11, 2009 in Lincoln. Rex was born in Fairmont, NE on January 2, 1920. He was a Christian first & foremost, a farmer in Fairmont, a Dairy Queen Owner in Crete, NE and a WWII Army Veteran. He served as Master Sergeant and Platoon Leader of the 8th Infantry Regiment 4th Division. Rex was in the initial assault on the D-Day invasion of Normandy on Utah Beach and served 5 campaigns throughout France and Germany. He Received the Purple Heart with 3 clusters (3x’s wounded), the Bronze Star for meritorious service beyond the call of duty, the Presidential Citation with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters for heroic duty and a Good Conduct Medal. Rex was a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW, DAV and the Purple Heart Society.
Survivors include his former wife and friend, Ina Williams; daughters, Kathleen Cane & Deborah Kapperman; sons, Douglas Plock & in loving memory of Charlie Plock (deceased) and 3 Grandchildren, Nathan Cane, Christina Cane & Megan Kapperman all of Lincoln.
Funeral services will be 10am Friday at Christ United Methodist Church, 45th & A Street, Lincoln with the Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be 2 pm Friday in the Fairmont cemetery, Fairmont, NE. Visitation will be from 9am -10am Friday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to The St. Elizabeth’s Foundation - ‘Burn Unit’.

He attended Norwood Park, Havelock, Arnold and Hayward schools. He was a contract worker for Harris Labs and a client with Region 5, LOMAR and CAN Services.

Born October 29, 1935 in Garden City, Kansas to Jose and Louisa Bravo in a family of 5 girls. Her sisters are Delores, Josie, Rose, Connie and Lupe all of Garden City, KS. She was a resident of Fontana, CA for 39 years. She entered into eternal life on 10/2/04 at home. She is survived by 8 children: Phillip of Crestline, CA, Zach of Colton, CA, Gabriel of Denver, CO, Gary of Mentone, CA, Danny of Yucaipa, CA, Priscilla of Lincoln, NE, Johnny of Crestline, CA, & Alicia of Crestline, CA. She has 22 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren. Mary was employed as a certified nurse’s aid for 20 years in Fontana. Her husband, John Phillip Baca was laid to rest in 1974 at Hermosa cemetery. She will also be laid to rest with her beloved husband. She was loved and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
