Mary L. Baca Rodriguez
passed away October 2, 2004
Age 68
Born October 29, 1935 in Garden City, Kansas to Jose and Louisa Bravo in a family of 5 girls. Her sisters are Delores, Josie, Rose, Connie and Lupe all of Garden City, KS. She was a resident of Fontana, CA for 39 years. She entered into eternal life on 10/2/04 at home. She is survived by 8 children: Phillip of Crestline, CA, Zach of Colton, CA, Gabriel of Denver, CO, Gary of Mentone, CA, Danny of Yucaipa, CA, Priscilla of Lincoln, NE, Johnny of Crestline, CA, & Alicia of Crestline, CA. She has 22 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren. Mary was employed as a certified nurse’s aid for 20 years in Fontana. Her husband, John Phillip Baca was laid to rest in 1974 at Hermosa cemetery. She will also be laid to rest with her beloved husband. She was loved and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

Visitation: Cremation. No visitation.

Went home to be with the Lord from Homestead Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln

Mr. Bentley died Wednesday evening at home at the age of 79, with his family by his side. They were assisted with the care of HoriSun Hospice of Lincoln. He was born in Lincoln on October 17th of 1925. Retired as a Naval Officer from the United States Navy.

71, born to Joseph and Mary (Reynolds) Lutes on July 24, 1933 in Stapleton Nebraska.
Died at home from ALS, assisted by Tabitha Hospice.
Graduated from Baker Rural High School, attended Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Married Robert Neil Dappen in Stapleton, Nebraska on March 21, 1953. Moved to Logan, Iowa in 1966.
She was an active member of the Logan United Methodist Church, and an avid volunteer at the Museum Of Religious Arts. She worked as a court reporter; typesetter for the Logan Herald Observer; and operated the Hen House Antique Shop with her business partner, Ruth Pickle. She was also a Shaklee Products distributor. She was a Cub Scout pack leader. Member of First United Methodist Church, Lincoln.
Visitation: Prior to service at the church

Service: Funeral Service was held Saturday October 30th, 2004 at 3:00 pm.
Location: First United Methodist Church, 2723 North 50th Street in Lincoln, Nebraska; Dr. Ed Bonneau and Pastor Dennis Hanneman officiating

Family Information: Survivors: husband, Robert; four sons and spouses, Fred and Angela Dappen of Wheatland, Wyoming; James and Rebecca Dappen of Roland, Iowa; Thomas of Great Mills, Maryland; and William of Lincoln; sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Wayne Miller of North Platte, Nebraska; sister in law, Donna Lutes of Lincoln; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

passed away on Friday at the age of 73 following an extended illness.
Was born in Wahoo, Nebraska on July 25, 1931 to Ted & Dorothy Dappen.
Was a WWII Army Veteran, where he was part of the 43rd Army Band.
He taught music in Nebraska & Iowa Public Schools.
Was a Member of First United Methodist Church of Lincoln, and Iowa Band Masters Association.

Richard James Farley
passed away December 10, 2004
Age 57 died Friday at "The Monarch", a hospice facility in Lincoln. HoriSun Hospice assisting.
He was born July 9, 1947 in Sioux City, Iowa to James and Marlys Farley. Was a decorated Viet Nam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army Rangers and Special Forces. He was also a member of the University of Nebraska Police Force. He was preceded in death by his father James Farley and sister, Diane J. Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Marlys (Wetrosky) Farley, daughter Tammy and husband Robert Randall, niece Theresa and husband Eric Medley all of Lincoln. Sister, Denise Galley of Bayfield, Colorado, grandsons Nathan & Nicholas, nieces and nephews.
Visitation: No Visitation, Cremation

Service: A Memorial Service was held on Monday 12/13/04 at 11:00 Military Honors by Lou Arnold and Al Wafenius.
Location: Christ Lutheran Church, 43rd & Sumner Street Lincoln, NE
