Born July 29, 1936 to Theodore and Mary (Lash) Engler in Beatrice, Nebraska.

Service: Memorial Mass was held at St. Teresa's Catholic Church on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 10:00 am. Father Joseph Nemec officiating.
Location: 735 South 36th Street in Lincoln

Family Gathering: Rosary service 15 minutes prior to the service at the church (9:45 am)

cemetery: Private family inurnment at Davey cemetery in rural Davey, Nebraska

Phyllis A. Fosbender
passed away September 7, 2005
passed away Wednesday evening at the Ambassador Nursing Home with her family by her side and assisted by Tabitha Hospice.
Phyllis was a resident of Lincoln for 40 years.
She was born in Stromsburg Nebraska and spent many years in nearby Shelby Nebraska.
She retired from the housekeeping department at U.N.L. and volunteered at the Lincoln Senior Center in downtown Lincoln.
She was an avid Cornhusker fan and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church

Visitation: There will be no visitation, for her wishes were to have her body donated to the State Anatomical Board at the University Medical Center in Omaha.

Service: A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Shelby Nebraska

Paul Joseph "Joe" Gabig
passed away October 18, 2005
Lincoln
Age 58

Paul Joseph Gabig died after a long struggle with cancer on Tuesday October 18th, 2005. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1947 and came to Nebraska to pursue his life’s work as a waterfowl biologist in the central flyway. After decades of working with the State Game and Parks Commission he started his own wildlife and natural resource consulting business.

Visitation: Cremation. No visitation.

Service: Friday, October 21st, 2005 at 4:00 p.m.
Location: Pioneers Park at the columns; You are invited to bring your waterfowl calls.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials will be decided at a later date. Watch this web site.

Family Information: Joe is survived by his wife Kathryn Gabig, his daughter Christine Gabig-Prebyl, his daughter Mary Jo Brolhorst, his son Jacob Gabig; their spouses Jason Prebyl, Jason Brolhorst and Lacey Gabig of Lincoln, Nebraska; his sisters Mary Ann Gabig Eubanks of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Paula Gabig Murphy of Baltimore, Maryland and stepdaughter Christi Caramia of Baltimore, Maryland nieces and nephews.

Born to Wiliam and Ada (Schufeldt) Gammill on August 12, 1946 in Alliance, Nebraska.

U.S. Army Veteran

Gary worked as a custodian for Lincoln Public Schools.

passed away at Milder Manor Nursing Home.
Retired receptionist from the City of Lincoln, retired in 1981 from City Hall. Worked at Cornhusker Hotel and Elgin Watch Company. Gleanor is loved and will live in our hearts. We will miss our mother.

Visitation: No visitation.

Service: Private family service was held on April 25th.

Memorials: Memorials to Milder Manor Nursing Home.
