Pastor for the Church of the Nazarene in Independence, MO, Lincoln, NE, and Fairbury, NE from 1958-1981. Pastor for United Methodist Church from 1981-1995, serving in the Custer Parish, as well as Daykin, McCook, Chappell and Lodgepole, NE. Retired in 1995.

She was born in Howells, Nebraska on October 24th, 1935. She was married
to Leonard Langhorst for 54 years. She was a teacher for a short time prior to being a full time house wife and mother of fourteen children. She enjoyed needle work, specifically tatting, and was a member of the Ring of Tatters. She also spent much of her time reading and writing short stories and musings, many of which were published.
Visitation: Cremation. No visitation.
Service: Rosary & Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, 12/29/12 at 9:30am at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ, 3500 Sheridan Blvd, Lincoln, Nebraska. Light luncheon to follow.
