Evelyn Everett Sarow

Evelyn Everett Sarow, 90, of Central City, died at Central City Care Center on Friday, August 29th, 2003. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 2nd at 2: 00 P.M. at the United Methodist Church in Central City with Rev. Rich Savage officiating. Burial will be in the Central City cemetery. Visitation is Friday, September 2nd from 11: 00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. Solt Funeral Home of Central City is in charge of the arrangements.

Evelyn was born on January 3, 1913, in Polk County to Edward F. and Anna Albertine (Johnson) Johnson. She received her education in Polk County Schools. On April 3, 1934, Evelyn Johnson and Floyd Everett were united in marriage in Central City. They made their home in Central City. Floyd and Evelyn were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Patricia Ann, on July 15, 1934. After being ill for over a year, Patricia died on December 20, 1943. Evelyn worked at the hospital in Central City for 32 years. She loved her work and her greatest love came from caring for the newborn babies at the hospital. Floyd died on November 4th, 1977. On December 8, 1989, Evelyn Everett and Ronald Sarow were married at the home of Evelyn's sister, Maxine, in Grand Island. They made their home in Osceola. Ronald died on January 23, 1997 and Evelyn moved into Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg until 2001. She returned to Central City in 2001 and lived at Central City Care Center.

Evelyn was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. She was given the Central City Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Citizen Award in 1974.

Survivors include her sister, Maxine Zakareckis of Grand Island, nieces and nephews, and special family friend, Mervin Ransom, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands; her daughter; four sisters-Hazel Malek, Edna Sarow, Inez Clizbe, Corrine "Connie" Steelsmith; five brothers-Freeman, Robert, Mervin, Edward, and Chester Johnson.

Mariann Zywiec

Mariann Zywiec, 65, of Central City, died on Wednesday, August 27th, 2003 at Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital in Central City. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 30th at 10: 30 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Central City with Father Nelson Newman officiating. Burial will be in the Central City cemetery. Visitation will be at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Friday, August 29th from 5 to 7: 30 p.m. with a prayer vigil at 7: 30 p.m.

Mariann was born on October 17, 1937 at home near Belgrade to Louis J. and Erna M. (Hellbusch) Landers. She grew up in Belgrade and graduated from Belgrade High School in 1955. As a young girl, Mariann had worked at the grocery store in Belgrade and after graduation she worked for Bell Telephone in Central City until her marriage. On September 26, 1957, Mariann Landers and Dominic "Dick" Zywiec were united in marriage at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Central City. They made their home in the Belgrade and Fullerton area where they farmed until 1964 when they moved to Central City. In addition to raising her family, Mariann also worked at the Lincoln Manor in Central City and Williamson's Interior in Grand Island. Mariann worked with her daughter, Lisa, at Tag Team Tours as quide for tours to Fort Randal. She also had worked at Bosselman's.

Mariann was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Central City and a past member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed bowling and she and Lisa co-authored two books--"Casino Almanac" and "Casino USA".

Survivors include her husband, Dick of Central City; two sons-Mike and Jonita Zywiec and Rick and Candy Zywiec all of Central City; and one daughter, Chris Wendt of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; and three brothers-Wesley and Marlene Landers of Westminster, CO; Raymond and Beverly Landers of Ashton; and Alden and Celeste Landers of Aurora, CO.

Mariann was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter-Lisa Hansen and one brother-LaVern Landers both in April of 2002.

Wilma H. McDonald

Wilma Henrietta McDonald, 80, of Central City, died on Monday, September 1, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Funeral services are Friday, Sept. 5th at 10: 30 a.m. at the Community Bible Church in Central City with Rev. Gil Larsen officiating. Burial will be at 2: 00 p.m. at the Mt. Hope cemetery in Scotia. Visitation is Thursday, Sept. 4th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Solt Funeral Home in Central City.

Wilma was born on June 13, 1923, in Scotia to Charles and Minnie (Huebner) Biskeborn. She received her early education in Scotia and then earned her high school diploma in 1980. On November 5, 1942, Wilma H. Biskeborn and Lyle W. McDonald were united in marriage in Scotia. They lived the early years of their marriage in North Loup and Wilma worked for several years at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. They moved to Central City in 1959.

Wilma was a member of the Community Bible Church, Gideons Auxiliary, The Neighborly Neighbor Extension Club, and being a talented artist, she was a long time member of the Central City Sketch Club. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, numerous crafts, and gardening.

Those surviving Wilma are her husband, Lyle, of Central City; one daughter-Suzanne and Louis Brunken of Clarks; five sons-Robert McDonald and Lucille Thompson; and Larry and Nancy McDonald all of Aurora; Kenneth and Shirley McDonald; John McDonald and Melody Blackwell; and Tim McDonald and Cindy Gobel all of Central City; one brother-Walter and Nancy Biskeborn of Ord; one sister-Anna Marie Morrow of Grand Island; brother-in-law-Gerald and Bonnie McDonald of Cherokee, IA; sisters-in-law - Bernard and Violet Morrow of Grand Island; and Evelyn McDonald of Green River, WY; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother-Leslie Biskeborn; and one sister-Edna Barnes.

Doris B. Ostberg

Doris B. Ostberg, 75, of Polk, died on Sunday, May 25, 2003, at York General Hospital. Services will be Thursday, May 29th at 10: 30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Polk with Rev. Anderson Kwankin officiating. Burial will be in the Polk cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, May 28th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Solt Funeral Home in Polk.

Doris was born on July 14, 1927, in Polk County to Walter A. and Bertha (Peterson) Binford. She grew up on the family farm east of Polk, attended rural Polk County School, and graduated from Polk High School in 1944. After graduation, Doris worked for Citizen’s State Bank in Polk until 1949. On September 17, 1949, Doris B. Binford and Donald L. Ostberg were united in marriage at the United Methodist Church in Polk. They lived near Polk and together operated their farm and seed corn business.

Doris was a member of the United Methodist Church in Polk. She was very active with the Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and helping with the Christmas Programs when her children were participating in these church activities. Doris was an active member of the Polk American Legion Auxiliary for many years. She loved outdoor activities, and enjoyed golfing, bowling, and fishing. She loved her flower garden and especially enjoyed growing roses.

Doris is survived by her husband, Don, of Polk; one daughter-Donnette and Scott Wagner of Greenville, Texas; one son-Murray and Ann Ostberg of Omaha; four grandchildren-Erin, Lauran, Caitlin, and Erik Ostberg; one sister-Lela Ruch and her son-Doug and Lani Ruch, all of Port Charlotte, FL.

Preceding her in death were her parents; infant daughter-Ruth Marie; sister-Helen Burge; and a niece-Eunice Ruch.

Irene Justice

Irene Justice, 95, of Central City, died at Litzenberg Long Term Care in Central City on Tuesday, October 22, 2002. Services are Friday, October 25th at 2: 00 p.m. at the chapel of Solt Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Joy Savage officiating. Burial will be in the Central City cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, October 24th from 5: 00 to 8: 00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Long Term Care or to the United Methodist Church.

Irene was born on December 14, 1906 in Beaver Crossing to Lewis and Nettie (Snodgrass) Hansen. She graduated from Beaver Crossing High School in 1926 and attended the University of Nebraska Teacher’s College. After receiving her teaching certificate, Irene taught in rural schools near Beaver Crossing for four years. On August 1, 1928, Irene Hansen and Joe A. Justice were united in marriage in Blair, Nebraska. They moved to Central City in March of 1931, where they raised their family and owned and operated Justice and Locke Drug Company. Joe died on August 19, 1984.

Irene was a member of the United Methodist Church in Central City. She taught Sunday School in the primary grades and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was active in PTA work while her sons were in school. Some of her hobbies were writing poetry and keeping in contact with distant relatives, friends, former pupils, and remembering the sick through her letter writing.

Irene is survived by two sons-Jim and Barbara Justice of Central City; Dr. John L. and Barbara Justice of Columbus; four grandchildren-Jane and Todd Stuart; Dr. John M. and Katie Justice; Dr. Susan and Bruce Winters; and Joe M. and Hanane Justice; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother-Walter Hansen.

Evvard T. Chader

Evvard Turno Chader, 90, of Central City, died on Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital in Central City. Services will be

Saturday, December 13th at 10: 30 A.M. at Mamre Evangelical Free Church near Marquette with Rev. Don Olson officiating. Burial will be in the Mamre Evangelical Free Church cemetery. Visitation is Friday, December 12th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Solt Funeral Home in Central City. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Nebraska Heart Association or the Nebraska Alzheimer’s Association.

Evvard was born on September 1, 1913 near Hordville to Seth O. and Ingeborg (Johnson) Chader. He grew up in the Hordville area and received his education at the Hordville Schools. On October 30, 1945, Evvard T. Chader and Frances C. Widman were united in marriage in Central City. They farmed in the Hordville area until 1949, when they moved to Merrick County. They farmed near Central City from 1949 until 1979 when they retired and moved into Central City. Frances died on September 18, 2000. Evvard had been living at the Merrick Manor in Central City.

Evvard had been a member of the Mamre Evangelical Free Church all of his life. As a young man, he began his lifelong interest in painting, drawing, and oils. Evvard’s paintings have been displayed throughout central Nebraska; as well as being part of private collections throughout the Midwest. He was a member of the Lions Club.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son-Harold Widman Chader of Minneapolis; sister-in-law Eileen Chader of Hampton; brother-in-law Arnold Jensen of Aurora; many nieces and nephews; and special grand nieces and nephew-Courtney, Sarah, and Trevor.

He was preceded in death by his wife, two sisters-Vivian Chader and Deborah Jensen; and two brothers-Delane and Carl Yngve Chader.

Inez M. King

Inez M. King, 93, of Central City, died at Rose Lane Home in Loup City on Friday, November 7, 2003. Services are Wednesday, November 12 at 2: 00 p.m. at Solt Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Melvin Zichek officiating. Burial will be in the Central City cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, November 11th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Inez Mable was born on March 21, 1910, in Greeley, Colorado to Grover A. and Emma Marie (Freelend) Farlee. At the age of three, her family moved to Wolbach, Nebraska. Inez graduated from Wolbach High School in 1928. On November 28, 1929, Inez Mable Farlee was united in marriage to Ralph Wilbur King in Central City. In the early years of their marriage, they worked in Merrick and Hamilton Counties; and then returned to the Central City area in 1942. They bought their home in Central City in 1964, where Inez lived until moving to be near her daughter in Loup City in 2002. Mr. King died on June 24, 1969.

Inez wa a member of the First Christian Church in Central City, played the piano for the church and had served as President of the Missionary. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the Order of Eastern Star Arbor Chapter No. 200. Inez enjoyed crocheting, embroidery work, quilting, playing the piano for her own enjoyment as well as accompanying the Senior Band, and her greatest love was spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter-Darlene and Dennis Richards of Loup City; daughter-in-law Betty King of Central City; eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons-Dale King on November 9, 2001 and Donald King on April 8, 1998; granddaughter-Jocelyn House; and one brother-Earl Farlee and sister-in-law Geneva Farlee.

Nannie Marie Nelson

Nannie Marie Nelson, 87, of Central City formerly of Marquette, died at Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital in Central City on Tuesday, November 04, 2003. Services will be Saturday, November 8th at 11: 00 a.m. at Mamre Evangelical Free Church near Marquette with Rev. Don Olson officiating. Burial will be in the Mamre Church cemetery. Visitation is Friday, November 7th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Solt Funeral Home in Central City.

Nannie was born on May 8, 1916 in Stromsburg to S. Alfred and S. Mathilda (Johnson) Carlson. She grew up in Polk and graduated from Polk High School in 1934. After graduating, she took the Normal Training and received her teaching certificate. On March 27, 1939, Nannie M. Carlson and Harry G. Nelson were united in marriage in Wood River. They lived their entire married life in the Marquette area where they farmed. Mr. Nelson died on January 29, 1978 and Nannie moved into Central City in 1982.

As a member of the Mamre Evanagelical Free Church, Nannie was active in all aspects of church life. She was a member of the Ladies Aide and White Cross where she held various offices; she served on the church board and as a deaconess; and taught Sunday School for over 40 years. Nannie also faithfully attended a Bible Study Group. Cooking was one of her greatest joys and you could always expect to be fed when you went to her home to visit.

Those left to cherish her memory are one son Clayton and Gloria Nelson of Marquette and one daughter Karen and Charles Stroman of Denton; five grandchildren-Michelle and Dudley Gulbrandson; Melissa and Kevin Prentice; Marni and Barry Snyder; Ryan Nelson; and Alyshia Stroman; eight great grandchildren; and one brother-Gordon A. Carlson of Stromsburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters-Alfreda Oberg and Alice Janky; and three brothers-Robert, Edward, and Fredolph Carlson.

Beverly Campbell Ruybalid

Beverly Campbell Ruybalid, of Lincoln, Virginia, died on November 21, 2003. Funeral services were held at the Hamilton, Virginia Baptist Church on Monday, November 24th at 10: 00 a.m.

Beverly was born in Tondala, Congo, to parents serving as missionaries. She left the Congo on a military cargo plane four months later with her mother, during an emergency government evacuation. The family settled in Central City, Nebraska.

Beverly lived in Central City and attended the Central City Public Schools through the eighth grade. She graduated from Nebraska Christian High School in Central City. Beverly enjoyed all the pleasures of growing up in a rural Nebraska community. She rode her bike, swam, raised and rode her horses, played sports, worked in the corn fields and garden. In the winter, she ice skated, sledded, skied Colorado, excelled in school, and enjoyed the outdoors. She passionately followed Nebraska Cornhusker football.

Beverly was thankful to have grown up in a family that faithfully attended the Central City Evangelical Free Church, which her father had played a key role in establishing. She participated in church activities, including Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, church camp, and AWANA.

Beverly considered herself blessed to have the parents and siblings God gave her. Even though her father died when she was eight, her mother was faithful in her pursuit of raising her children before the Lord. Her sisters and brother have stories of Beverly’s special drive in life; whether she was tenderly and compassionately caring for the elderly at Bethesda Care Center in Central City, eating peanut M&M’s with popcorn, or watching Andy Griffith.

Beverly attended the University of Nebraska in 1978-79 and then enrolled in the Bryan School of Nursing, graduating with a degree in nursing in 1981. She was a very good student and excelled at school as well as all things in her life that she set her mind to doing. She graduated salutatorian of both her high school and nursing school graduating classes.

On August 8, 1981, Beverly married Jonathan Ruybalid. She had known Jon all of her life as they both grew up in Central City. Jon was a student at Grace College of the Bible in Omaha and Beverly was working as a neonatal nurse at the University Hospital in Omaha from 1981 to Jon’s graduation in the summer of 1984. During this period, she had also spent three months as camp nurse of Camp Forest Springs in Westboro, WI in 1982. She and Jon lived in Dallas from 1984 to 1989 with Beverly working at Methodist Hospital; they lived in St. Paul, MN from 1989 until 1992 and she worked in the neonatal unit of St. Paul’s Children’s Hospital. From 1992 to 1994 they lived in Centreville, VA; and then moved to Evergreen Farm in Lincoln, Virginia in 1994. They attended and Beverly served in a variety of ways in their churches along this journey: Omaha Gospel Tabernacle, Central City Evangelical Free Church, Northwood Hills Bible Church, First Evangelical Free Church of Maplewood, Chantilly Bible Church, and Blue Ridge Bible Church.

Beverly did not truly die on November 21st, she has eternal life and is survived by her husband, Jon, and her children-Rachael Kathleen, Whitney Grace, Alexander Campbell, Lincoln Elliott, and Sheppard Zion; her oldest sister Carla with husband Curt Carlson live in Marquette; sister Mary and husband Jeff Judy are in Belton, Missouri; sister Kathleen and husband Joe Schreier are in Omaha; and sister Becky and her husband Bryce Pederson live in Cumberland, WI; her brother John and wife Stephanie live Wilmont, SD; her mother, Mary Lou Miller, now lives in Gothenburg with her husband and the man Beverly considered her new and special father, Cal Miller; eighteen nieces and nephews; two grand nieces; one grand nephew; three step brothers-Tim and Pam Miller of Maxwell; Jim and Gaylene Miller of Shepherd, MT; and Mike and Debra Miller of Fredericksburg, VA; one step sister-Cindy Miller of Honolulu, Hawaii; Aunts and Uncles: Lois Carlson of Holdrege; Kay Reed of Lakewood, CA; Jim and Marge Bergstrom of Axtell; Jean and Dave Rohrer of Boulder, CO; Betty and Earl Skogman of Knoxville, TN; Mary and Bill Philbrook of Longmont, CO: parents-in-law Ruben and Carol Ruybalid of Antonito, CO.

Beverly is rejoicing in now being with her four unborn children as well as with her father, Dr. John Campbell ( who was in practice with Dr. Kenneth Treptow in Central City from 1961 until his death in 1968); grandparents-Clarence and Nettie Mae Campbell who were from Omaha; and Carl and Verna Bergstrom who were from Axtell; three uncles-Bud and Ernest Campbell and Dick Carlson; and two aunts-Nettie Craig and Lucy Dewey.

Judy R. Corbin

Judy R. Corbin, 62 years of age, of Central City, NE died at the Lake View Medical Center in Rowlett, TX, on Saturday, December 6, 2003. Memorial Services will be at the Solt Funeral Home of Central City, on Wednesday, December 10th, at 10: 30 A.M. with the Rev. Troy Emley officiating. Private interment will be in the Grand Island cemetery.

Judy was born in Grand Island, on April 15, 1941 to Arthur William and Thelma Louise (Bailey) Ronnfeldt. She attended school in Chapman and Grand Island. Judy moved to Anaheim, CA in 1959 and married Ed Corbin on September 1, 1960. She worked there several years before returning to Central City in the 1970’s. Judy worked for Atlantic Homes in Central City for twenty-five years. She moved to Rowlett, TX in 2003 to be near her son. Judy enjoyed playing bingo, shopping and her family.

Survivors include; her mother Thelma Ronnfeldt of Grand Island, one daughter Angie Corbin of Central City, three sons: Doug Corbin of Omaha, Joe and his wife Tonya of Rowlett, and Chuck Corbin of Alaska, two sisters, Joyce Shriner and husband Raymond of Grand Island, and Pam Galusha of Central City and one brother Larry Ronnfeldt and his wife Rose of Grand Island, and four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, one brother and a grandson Little Joe.

Kimberly Dawn Gregg

Kimberly Dawn Gregg, 36, of Fullerton and formerly of Central City, died at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings on Thursday, December 11, 2003. Memorial services will be Monday, December 15th at 11: 00 A.M. at the Community Bible Church in Central City with Rev. Gil Larsen officiating. Solt Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of the arrangements.

Kim was born on January 9, 1967, in St. Paul to Dan and Donna (Luebke) Gregg. She graduated from Central City High School in 1985 and then went to live in New York for four years where she worked as a nanny. She returned to Central City and cared for her grandmother, Jewell Gregg for a year before moving to Kearney. Kim worked for the State of Nebraska with in-home care for the elderly and attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, majoring in Social Work and Psychology. Due to illness, Kim went to live in a care home in Norfolk and recently had been living in Fullerton.

Kim was a member of the Community Bible Church in Central City. She enjoyed music and traveling. While living on the east coast, she enjoyed going to several Broadway Shows, the David Letterman Show, Disney World, and Washington, DC.

Those left to cherish her memory are her father and step-mother Dan and Pat Gregg; one sister-Malissa Gregg; one step-brother Joe and Kim Makowski; and one step-sister Heidi and Eric Erickson; five nephews; and three nieces all of Central City.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 1996; and her grandparents-James S. and Jewell Gregg and Ed and Gertrude Luebke.

Berniece Grace Sodrberg

Berniece Grace Soderberg, 97, of North Platte, formerly of the Archer and Central City areas, died in North Platte on Friday, December 19, 2003. Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 23 at 11: 00 A.M. at the Central City cemetery with Sister Mary Arie officiating. Solt Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials suggested to the Nebraska Alzheimer’s Association or to the Masonic-Order of the Eastern Star in Fremont.

Berniece was born on January 6, 1906 in Archer to Guy F. and Thrina H. (Morris) Eckles. She grew up in Merrick County, and received her education at Archer and Central City Schools. On July 3, 1922, Berniece Eckles and Cecil Grace were united in marriage in Cozad. They lived in Merrick County until 1960, when they moved to Miller, South Dakota where they farmed. Mr. Grace died on December 10, 1968. After the death of her husband, she lived in Lewellen, NE with her husband’s aunt, Mrs. George Grace for about two years. On November 10, 1972, Berniece married Arthur Soderberg. They lived on their farm near Miller, South Dakota until 1983. They then moved into Miller, but spent winter months in Arizona. In 1992, Mr. Soderberg died and she moved to North Platte in 1994.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Miller; the Order of the Eastern Star, the VFW Auxiliary in Miller, and the Royal Neighbors of America. She received her 75 year membership pin in 2003 from the Royal Neighbors. Berniece also enjoyed gardening.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Donald and Maxine Grace of Miller, South Dakota; her daughter, Darlene and Walter Hosick of North Platte; five grandchildren-Carol and Val Kopke of Grand Island; Janet and John Young of North Platte; Nancy and Jim Schneider of North Platte; Curtis Grace and special friend Donna of Miller, South Dakota; and Kelly and Alan Arbeiter of Wessington, South Dakota; eleven grand- children and one great great grandchild.

Those preceding her in death were her husbands, Cecil Grace and Arthur Soderberg; and two great grandchildren.

George Swanson

Swanson George Swanson, 81, loving husband, dad, grandpa, of Plymouth, 50 year Brooklyn Park resident, died Dec. 24 peacefully at home due to Parkinson's disease. Born June 30, 1922 in Milaca. Served in the CCC's 1939, a Navy veteran of WWII, in 1949 married Arlene Hahn of Polk, NE, mechanic at Consolidated Freightways for 38 years. He was able to fix anything and was everyone's mechanic. Long time Boy Scout leader; watched his sons become Eagle Scouts. He loved people, visiting, telling stories, polka music, walking, skiing. He made hundreds of bluebird houses and known for his Saturday morning waffles. Loving husband of 54 years to Arlene; father of Michael (Lynn Starkovich), Plymouth, Diane (Darryl) Sannes, Brooklyn Center, Craig (Connie), Plymouth, Debra (Paul) Dawidowicz, Brandon, SD; grandpa to Katie Swanson, Lisa and Lori Dawidowicz; special father to Kimm (Judy) Julian and family, Brooklyn Park; brother-in-law to the Hahn family, Donald (Lorraine), Dennis, Dwayne (Irene), Shirley, Delano, Dolan (Maxine), Darwin (Cindy); favorite uncle to 20 nieces and nephews. He was grateful to the Robideau family, his many friends and Fairview Hospice, for giving him so much love. Service Monday 10: 00 AM, Brooklyn United Methodist Church, 7200 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center. Interment Fort Snelling. Visitation Sunday 4-7 PM at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center. Memorials preferred to Brooklyn United Methodist Church where he was a member for 52 years or the Boy Scouts of America - Viking Council.
