George A. Loats

George Arthur Loats, 78, of Central City, formerly of Lennox, South Dakota, died on Thursday, January 16th, at Long Term Care in Central City. Services will be Monday, January 20th at 1: 00 p.m. at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Lennox with Rev. David Young officiating. Burial will be in the Lennox cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, January 19th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Solt Funeral Home in Central City. Solt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.soltfh.com.

George was born on March 8, 1924, in Gary, South Dakota to Albert and Gertie (Bossman) Loats. The family moved to Lennox, South Dakota in 1935. George attended grade school in Gary and Lennox, and graduated from Lennox High School in 1944. George lived in Lennox and was employed by the Milwaukee Railroad in Dell Rapids, South Dakota and Hawarden, Iowa. During the years that his parent’s health was failing, George remained at home to care for them. After retiring from the railroad in 1976, he moved to Central City, Nebraska to be near his sister and brother-in-law, Lena and Marlin Wells. He worked with Marlin at the Equineus Corral helping to build their home, haying, putting up fence, and doing chores. When his health began to fail in 1994, George entered Long Term Care in Central City.

George was a faithful member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Lennox since 1935 and taught Sunday School for many years. While living in Central City, he was very active in the First Christian Church. George helped yearly with the Demolition Derby at the Merrick County Fair. A quiet unassuming man that trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for his care, George enjoyed going for walks and doing picture puzzles several of which won ribbons at the Merrick County Fair. He helped with the fellowship services at the Long Term Care and appreciated the loving and dedicated care that he received at the home and especially the care given to him by Marlin and Peggy Wells.

Survivors include one sister-Lena and Marlin Wells of Central City and their children-Brad and Peggy Wells of Central City and Brent and Miriam Wells of Central City; one brother John and Maxine Loats of Prairie Village, Kansas and their children-Robert Loats of Kansas City, Kansas; Tom and Tena Loats of Overland Park, Kansas; Katherine Powell of Prairie Village, Kansas; Bill and Julie Loats of Lawrence, Kansas; one sister-in-law Goldie Loats Poulson of Alta, Iowa and her children-Mike and Kathy Loats of Eden Prairie, MN; Misty and Ed Hackbarth of Iowa Falls, Iowa; Monica and Lynn Evans of Buffalo Center, Iowa; Mark and Kellie Loats of Alta, Iowa; Melody Poulson of Sioux City; and Marty Poulson of Alta, Iowa; and many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother on May 17, 1964, his father on September 18, 1968, and one brother-Francis (Pinky) Loats on July 7, 1972.

Billy "Bill" L. Leece

Billy “Bill” LeRoy Leece, 83, of Central City, died on Tuesday, March 29th, 2005, at Central City Care Center. Memorial services are Friday, April 1st at 2: 00 P.M. at Solt Funeral Home in Central City with Pastor Troy Emley officiating. A private family committal will take place prior to the services at the Central City cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family.

Billy was born on July 29, 1921, in Clarks to Clyde L. and Edith (Leamons) Leece. He received his education in Clarks Public Schools. On December 9, 1945, Billy L. Leece and Maxine Galusha were united in marriage. They made their home in Central City. Billy worked for Merrick County until 1969. He then went to work as a custodian for the Central City Public Schools for over thirty years and retired in 2000.

Billy’s life centered around his work and his family; but did enjoy horseback riding and being around his son’s horses.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son – Gary and Marlene Leece from Grand Island; three grandchildren – Kirsten Haubold of Grand Island; Brenda Leece of Omaha; and Charles Leece of Omaha; six great grandchildren; and his “furry” friend Bo.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Maxine on July 17, 1997; and his son-Ronny L. on June 3, 1980.

Florence M. Larson

Florence Mildred Larson, 99, of Central City, died on Tuesday, April 8th at Long Term Care in Central City. Services will be Friday, April 11th at 2: 00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Central City with Rev. Joy Savage officiating. Burial will be in the Central City cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, April 10th at the United Methodist Church from 5 to 7 p.m. Solt Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of the arrangements.

Florence was born on March 25, 1904, in Michigan City, Indiana, to Charles M. and Mary (Johnson) Anderson. At the time of her birth, Florence’s father was attending Moody Bible College in Chicago and when he completed his work to become a minister, the family lived in Boone, Madrid, and Centerville, Iowa. When Florence was six years old, the family moved to Lexington and they farmed the family farmstead until 1913. They moved to the Prairie Creek area near Archer and Florence attended school in the Archer Schools. On August 4th, 1925, Florence M. Johnson and Clarence R. Larson were united in marriage in Chapman. They owned and operated the Larson Chevrolet Dealership in Central City with Clarence’s brother, Earl. They retired from the dealership in 1956 and continued to live in Central City. Clarence died on February 26, 1990.

Florence was a member of the First Baptist Church in Central City until its closing and then became a member of the United Methodist Church. She loved her church and was a faithful worker having taught Sunday School for 30 years. She was a den mother for the Boy Scouts, was involved in the PTA, she volunteered as a Pink Lady at the hospital, worked at the Hospital Thrift Shop, carried meals-on-wheels for several years, and made 220 baby caps for newborns at Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital in Central City. Florence also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and gardening.

Survivors include four sons-Don and Ramona Larson of Franktown, CO; Wayne and Janet Larson of Fremont; Jerry and Ruth Larson of Central City; and Gene and Judy Larson of Hot Springs, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; 4 sisters; and 7 brothers.

Evelyn M. Truesdell

Evelyn M. Truesdell, 96, of Clarks, died in Berthoud, Colorado, on Thursday, April 27, 2006. Funeral services will be Monday, May 1, 2006, at 10: 00 A.M. at the chapel of Solt Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Jack Eske officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, April 30th from 5 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Central City cemetery.

Evelyn Millicent was born on December 5, 1909, in Central City to Robert F. and Mary V. (Yarno) Everett. She grew up in the Central City and Clarks area and graduated from Central City High School. On November 1, 1931, Evelyn M. Everett and Fred E. Truesdell were united in marriage. They made their home in the Central City and Clarks area. Evelyn worked painting, papering, doing housework, and cleaning poultry. From 1960 to 1978, Evelyn and Fred lived in Loveland, Colorado and then returned to Clarks. Fred died on March 8, 1984. Evelyn continued living in Clarks until moving to Colorado several months ago to be near her daughters.

Evelyn was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Lions Club, the WSCS “Always Busy” Quilting Club, and the Clarks Senior Center. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, handiwork, and making sequin calendars.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons – Robert “Bill” and Mary Truesdell and Gerald and Miriam Truesdell all of Clarks; her two daughters – Barbara Hansjosten of Loveland, Colorado and Patsy “Pat” Ham of Aurora, Colorado; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one grandson – Tony Dean Truesdell; four sisters – Jessie Gleason, Nettie Stuart, Helen Weaver, and Dorothy Emgarten; three brothers – Ernest Everett, Wilbur Everett, and Roy Everett.

James "Jim" Vincent

James “Jim” Vincent, 53, of Stromsburg, died at home on Tuesday, March 07, 2006. Funeral services will be Friday, March 10th at 2: 00 p.m. at the chapel of Solt Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Daniel Spearow officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 9th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Solt Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will be in the Polk cemetery.

James Richard Vincent was born on October 4, 1952, in Grand Island to Richard L. and Lucille I. (Stockton) Vincent. He grew up in Clarks, graduating from Clarks High School in 1971. After completing his education, Jim worked in construction and in 1974 he entered the United States Army and served in Germany. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1978, and returned to Nebraska. In 1979, Jim moved to Washington where he and Beverly Ann Mays were united in marriage on February 17, 1979. Jim worked for various farming operations throughout the state of Washington. From 1982 until 1993, Jim lived in Colorado Springs and continued his work in construction. When he moved to Denver in 1993, he worked for McGregor-Wathen Construction as a cabinet builder and finish specialist. He continued to work with McGregor-Wathen as a self-employed sub-contractor and specialized in finish work and cabinetry for restaurants. On February 18, 2006, Jim moved to Stromsburg to live with his sister, Peggy Fritz. Jim was a member of the Clarks United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, but his greatest enjoyment came from his work.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three sons – Ernest and Jennifer Vincent of Fountain, Colorado; Justin Vincent and his fiancé Tasha Jackson of Central City; and Nathan Vincent of Littleton, Colorado; his father – Richard Vincent of Stromsburg; his sister – Peggy and Tom Fritz of Stromsburg; and five grandchildren – Eden, Samantha, Alex, Madison, and Isabella.

He was preceded in death by his mother on July 24, 1997; and his brother – Donald Kelly on February 27, 1992.

Neil G. Eriksen

Neil G. Eriksen, 69, of Marquette, formerly of Central City, died at his home on Friday, March 17th, 2006. Funeral services will be Friday, March 24th at 10: 30 A.M. at the chapel of Solt Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Joy Savage officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 23rd from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Central City cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Asera Care Hospice in York; the Central City United Methodist Church, or the Central City Senior Center.

Neil Grant Eriksen was born on October 12, 1936, in Marquette to Holger G. and Etna Mae (Newman) Eriksen. He graduated from Marquette High School in 1954 and continued to live in Marquette, and began working in 1955 at Roy’s Service Center in Central City. On March 12, 1960, Neil G. Eriksen and Mary M. Weeks were united in marriage. They made their home in Central City and Neil continued to work at Roy’s Service Center until he purchased the shop in 1975 and renamed it Neil’s Service Center. Neil retired in 1999.

Neil was a member of the United Methodist Church in Central City and served on various boards, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and the Grand Island Saddle Club. He volunteered at the Central City Senior Center, had served on the Central City Council, and was on the Central City Volunteer Fire Department in Central City for 30 years. Neil enjoyed fishing, flying radio controlled airplanes, gardening, Nebraska Football, and traveling. Since moving to Hamilton County in 1997, Neil has served on the board for the Marquette Rural Fire District and as president of the Turtle Beach Lake Association.

Neil first found out he had cancer in April of 2000. Two years later he had another kind of cancer. Through all of his illness and treatments, he never lost his faith or his sense of humor. He enjoyed all of the visits from friends, family, neighbors, and his coffee buddies.

He lived for all of his grandchildren and his great granddaughter, who he and Mary babysat for up to the time of his death.

Neil’s family includes his wife, Mary of Marquette; two daughters – Candy Lee and Rick Zywiec of Central City; Terri Jo Eriksen and Tim Tilburg of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; one son – Steven Neil and Amy Eriksen of Bonner Springs, Kansas; one sister and brother-in-law – Parma K. and Kenneth Werner of Aurora; five grandchildren-Jamie Ulmer, Casey Zywiec, Tylor Tilburg, Sydne and Jordan Eriksen; and one great granddaughter-Brynn Ulmer.

Neil was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter – Cindy Kay.

Douglas Scott Glasgow

Douglas Scott Glasgow, 55, of Grand Island formerly of Clarks, died at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney on Friday, April 21st, 2006. A book signing will be held on Sunday, April 23rd from 4: 00 to 6: 00 p.m. at Solt Funeral Home in Central City. Interment will be in the Clarks cemetery at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Epilepsy Foundation.

Douglas was born on May 13, 1950, in Scottsbluff to Louis H. “Gus” and I. Jane (Bowman) Glasgow. When Douglas was nine, his family moved from Scottsbluff to Clarks. Douglas received his education at Clarks Schools, and lived in Clarks until moving to Grand Island in 1991 and he was currently living at Lakeview Assisted Living.

Some of the activities that he enjoyed were fishing, working puzzles, playing cards, and watching TV. Doug was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed helping people. He will be missed very much at Lakeview Assisted Living in Grand Island, where he was always very helpful to the residents and the staff.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two brothers – James C. “Jim” and Judy Glasgow of Clarks and Burr Glasgow of Peoria, Illinois; one sister – Nancy Glasgow of Grand Island; one nephew – Jason and Katie Gama of Peoria, Illinois; one niece – Debbie and Mike Moore of Grand Island; a great niece – Ella Gama; and a great nephew – Austin Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Louise Benson

Louise E. Benson, 82, of Grand Island, formerly of Worms, died Friday, March 16, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, day, March 21, 2006, at 2: 00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Worms with Rev. Daniel Bremer officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 19th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran cemetery. Solt Funeral Home of Central City is in charge of the arrangements.

Louise was born May 23, 1923, near Worms to Otto and Louisa (Oberschulte) Frauen. She received her education at Zion Lutheran School in Worms. On April 6, 1947, Louise Frauen and Clarence Benson were united in marriage at Zion Lutheran Church. They made their home near Worms where they farmed. Louise lived in the same square mile all of her life until moving to Grand Island in 2004. Clarence died on July 14, 2002.

Louise was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church and had been a past member of the Ladies Aide. Her life was dedicated to her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are four sons: Chris Benson and special friend Carolyn Freeman of Lincoln; Dale and Janet Benson of Worms; Birger and Connie Benson of Grand Island; and Larry and Aimee Benson of Worms. One brother, Otto and Georgena Frauen of Worms; one sister, Cecelia Warneke of Grand Island; two sisters-in-law, Elsie Frauen and Esther Frauen, both of Grand Island; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, infant daughter, Margaret Ann, two brothers, Max Frauen and Herman Frauen, and two sisters, Elsie Schutt and Marie Nelson.

Donna May Musser

Donna May Musser, 54, of Polk, died at her home on Friday, April 28, 2006; after battling cancer. Private memorial services will be held for her in Pennsylvania. Solt Funeral Home of Polk is in charge of the arrangements.

Donna May was born on June 29, 1951, in Union City, Pennsylvania, to Frederick and Anne (Makovich) Glozzer. She received her education at Our Lady of Sacred Hearts in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. Donna made her home in Erie, Pennsylvania. On March 22, 1990, Donna Glozzer and Phillip Musser were united in marriage in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Phillip worked for the railroad; therefore, they lived in many locations including Council Bluffs, Iowa, North Platte, and Polk.

Donna was a member of the Catholic faith and had been baptized at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church in Union City, Pennsylvania.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Phillip of Polk and her brother – Frederick Glozzer, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son.

Warren Lee Smith

Warren Lee Smith, 66, of Central City, Nebraska, died on Monday, March 27th at Bryan LGH West in Lincoln, Nebraska after battling pulmonary arterial hypertension. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 30th at 10: 00 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Central City, Nebraska with Rev. Eldon Elsberry and Rev. Deverle Cooper officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 29th from 5: 00 to 7: 30 p.m. at Solt Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will be in the Central City cemetery. Memorials are suggested to be given to a fund established in memory of Warren.

Warren was born on July 11, 1939, in Chambers, Nebraska to Ward R. and Helen (Graves) Smith. His family lived in Chambers throughout his early life and he attended grade school in Chambers. They spent time in Honduras as missionaries. When they moved to Pennsylvania, they lived at the West Indies Mission Head Quarters. Warren graduated from Joint High School, Armaugh, Pennsylvania, in 1957. On August 28th, 1960, Warren L. Smith and Norma J. Keller were united in marriage in Shelton, Nebraska. They lived in Grand Island, Nebraska and Warren worked at Firestone Tire Company. In 1962, they moved to Central City. Warren worked at the Ordinance Plant in Grand Island, he drove school bus for the Central City Schools, he worked for Midwest Construction and also worked independently in construction. They lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado from 1973 to 1975, and then returned to Central City, Nebraska. Warren and Norma owned and operated Lone Tree Printing in Central City and Grandma’s Country Inn. In 1989,
Warren began driving truck and in 1993, Norma went on the road with him.

Warren attended the Evangelical Free Church in Central City, Nebraska. He enjoyed talking with everyone and went daily to have coffee and visit with his friends. Working with wood, traveling, and helping other people gave him great enjoyment; but his greatest love was for his wife, his family and his grandchildren. While on the road, Warren and Norma enjoyed communicating with school children about their travels through the Trucker Buddies Program.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Norma of Central City, Nebraska; his parents, Ward and Helen Smith of Central City, Nebraska; three daughters – Tammy and David Brookman of Dayton, Ohio; Tonya and Daniel VanPelt of Phillips, Nebraska; Teather and Curtis Campbell of Lincoln, Nebraska; one son – Todd Smith of Grand Island, Nebraska; five grandchildren – Taylor VanPelt; Alex Brookman; Levi VanPelt, Luke VanPelt; and Molly Campbell; one sister Carolyn and David Kroeker of Lincoln, Nebraska; and one brother – Roger and Elda Smith of Grand Island, Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews.

Those preceding him in death were his brother – Russell who died in 1944 at three years of age and his grandson – Dylan VanPelt who died in 2000 at eleven and a half months of age.

Geneva Viola Baker

Geneva Viola Baker, 88, of Lincoln, died on March 24th, 2006, in Lincoln. Services were held in Lincoln.

Geneva was born on September 5, 1917, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to Andrew Sherman and Mary (Branch Kibbe) Baker. She attended country school and graduated from Central City High School, attended Nebraska Central College in Central City, and received her teaching certificate from Kearney State Teacher’s College. She taught in rural schools in the Palmer and Central City areas, including Prairie Island. Later, she taught at McCook, Plattsmouth, and Louisville. In 1958, Geneva completed her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. She taught seventh and eighth grade math and science for several years at Osceola; and upon moving to Lincoln, she taught junior high math and science at Belmont School.

Geneva was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Lincoln, where she taught Sunday School for many years.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Verna (Baker) Grant of Palmyra, Virginia; Cleo Woodyard, Bob Baker, and Jon Baker all of Grand Island; and Kathleen (White) Schott of Central City.

Louise J. Sherman

Louise J. Sherman, 80, of Marquette, died at Aurora Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 6th, 2006. Memorial services will be Thursday, May 11th at 2: 00 P.M. at Mamre Evangelical Free Church near Marquette with Rev. Don Olson officiating. Solt Funeral Home of Central City is in charge of the arrangements.

Louise was born on December 16, 1925, in Hyannis, Massachusetts, to Thomas and Marjorie (Moulton) Cox. She grew up in Hyannis and graduated from Barnstable High School in Hyannis. On October 28th, 1945, Louise J. Cox and Thomas M. Sherman were united in marriage in Hyannis. After their marriage, they moved to Peru, Nebraska, and then to Lincoln and Center where Tom served as a County Agent. After leaving Center, they moved to Murphy to farm and then to Marquette, where they continued farming.

Louise was a member of the Mamre Evangelical Free Church, she enjoyed reading, sewing, and cooking, as well as working with her husband on the farm.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband – Tom of Marquette; two sons – James and Chau Sherman of Viet Nam; Karl and Joy Marie Sherman of Bradshaw; one daughter – Charlotte Foulk of Marquette; six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents.

Virginia "Ginny" Flodman

Virginia 'Ginny' Flodman, 89, of Polk, died on Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 25th, at 10: 30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Polk with Rev. Daniel Spearow officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 24th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Solt Funeral Home in Polk. Burial will be in the Swede Plain cemetery near Polk.

Virginia Rose Elizabeth was born on September 15, 1916, in Central City to Walter L. and Elva P. (Gilliard) Moore. Virginia grew up in Central City and graduated from Central City High School in 1934. On September 20, 1934, Virginia Moore and Carrol M. Flodman were united in marriage in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They made their home in Polk, where they farmed. In addition to working on the farm with her husband, Virginia sold Avon. Carrol died on June 4, 1981. Virginia continued to live in Polk, until recently when she moved to Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg.

Virginia was a member of the United Methodist Church in Polk and a charter member of the Polk Senior Center. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, trying new recipes, and crafts. For many years, she also volunteered with projects sponsored by Blue Valley Community Action.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons - Robin and Laurie Flodman of Eaglerock, Missouri; Deland 'Del' and Alice Flodman of San Diego; and Merton and Lonna Flodman of Osceola; three daughters - LaRita and Canute Sorenson of Shakopee, Minnesota; Donna and Edward Hafer of Minerva, Ohio; and Patty and Sam Grogan of Stromsburg; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her infant daughter, Deanna Rae in 1940; her infant son - Edward Lee in 1939; her granddaughter - Rita Dawn Shenk; her grandson - Keith Shenk; two brothers - Dean Moore and Donald Moore; and one sister - Mary Jane Christensen.

Joyce M. Eske

Joyce M. Eske, 68, of Central City, died at her home on Wednesday, March 15, 2006. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 18th, 2006, at 11: 00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg with Rev. Pam Ciulla officiating. Visitation will be Friday, March 17th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Solt Funeral Home in Central City. A private family burial will be held at the Central City cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.

Joyce Marlene was born on August 4th, 1937, in Gary, Indiana to Leonard and Mildred (Ragels) Sheldon. At the age of eight, she moved with her family to Frankfort, South Dakota until the eighth grade and then they moved to Redfield, South Dakota. As a sophomore in high school, her family moved to Warner, South Dakota where she graduated from Warner High School in 1955. After graduating, Joyce worked as a secretary in Aberdeen, South Dakota until her marriage. On October 18, 1959, Joyce M. Sheldon and Jack J. Eske were united in marriage at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warner. Throughout their married life they lived mainly in Nebraska, where as a minister Jack served in several churches and Joyce was dedicated to her work in the church and to her family. After retiring, they moved to Central City in 1999.

Joyce was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warner and was currently a member at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg. She enjoyed volunteering at the Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital Thrift Shop in Central City.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jack of Central City; two daughters – Jodi and David Hanson of Central City; Janece and Rob Wheeler of Verdon; and one son Jeff and Teresa Eske of Omaha; four grandchildren – Chris Hanson, Emily and KayLynn Wheeler, and Rebecca Eske; one niece – Pat Giles; one nephew – Steve Kent; three great nieces, and one great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister – Thelma Vetsch.
