Clara LeVera Davidson, 81, of Perkins Pavilion, died Sunday, November 19, 2000 at Perkins Pavilion.

Memorial graveside service and burial will be Tuesday, November 21, 2000; 2:00 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Bill Liddell officiating.

Clara LeVera Davidson was born icon March 9, 1919 in Pueblo, Colorado to Clarence L. & Frances M. (Coale) Mahurin. On June 13, 1937, she married Russell W. Davidson in Woodland Park, Colorado. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1997. She was co-owner and office manager of Davidson's Nursery & Greenhouse in Hastings, Nebraska for 40 years. She was a resident of Hastings, Nebraska for over 60 years.

Clara LeVera Davidson was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell and 1 sister and brother.

Survivors include,Son, Edward L. Davidson - Peach Tree City, GA; Daughter, Mrs. Garth ‘Margaret' Amack - Hastings, NE; Grandchildren, 4; Great Grandchildren, 3; Step Great Grandchildren, 3; Memorial, Good Samaritan Village

Austin William Molina

Austin William Molina, infant son of Lupe and Christi (Peters) Molina, of 1838 W. 10th Street, Hastings, Nebraska, died Monday, November 20, 2000 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Friday, November 24, 2000; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Carl H. Rehwaldt officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Austin William Molina was preceded in death by 1 grandmother, 4 great grandmothers, and 3 great grandfathers.

Survivors include, Parents, Lupe & Christi Molina - Hastings, NE; Brother, Skyler Molina - at home; Grandparents, Myron & Winona ‘Nonie' Peters - Hastings, NE, Alfredo Molina - Brownsville, TX; Great Grandfather, Harley Howell - Chester, NE; Numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins

Agatha C. Boyd

Agatha C. Boyd, 82, of Perkins Pavilion, died Wednesday, November 29, 2000 at Perkins Pavilion.

Memorial Mass will be Monday, December 11, 2000; 10:30: A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Agatha C. Boyd was born icon February 22, 1918 in Humboldt, South Dakota to Charles & Mary (O'Connell) Feyder. She graduated from Humboldt High School in 1936. While in high school, she worked as a switchboard operator and played the piano for silent movies at the local theater. She was also a switchboard operator at Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the Cataract Hotel. On June 22, 1940 she married Earl E. Boyd in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He died in 1987. She moved to Ogallala, Nebraska in 1941 and lived in North Platte, Nebraska & Great Falls, Montana before moving to Hastings, Nebraska in 1950. She was a switchboard operator for Nash Finch Company, Hillcrest Jack & Jill and Clark Hotel. In 1962, she became the switchboard operator at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Agatha C. Boyd was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl, 1 son, Richard and 2 sisters.

Survivors include, Daughters & Sons-in-law, Sharon & Max Hecht - Juniata, NE, Kathy & Dean Clark - York, NE; Son & Daughter-in-law, Neal & Joyce Boyd - Johnson Lake, NE; 9 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren

Evelyn M. Wallace

Evelyn M. Wallace, 89, of The Kensington, 233 N. Hastings, died Tuesday, October 3, 2000 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Thursday, October 5, 2000; 2:00 P.M. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Matt Nieman officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Evelyn M. Wallace was born icon June 30, 1911 in Le Grand, Iowa to Earl & Frances (Hill) Arnold. At the age of 6, she moved with her family to Sac City, Iowa. She graduated in Sac City, Iowa in 1929. She attended Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa and transferred to the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Nebraska and graduated in 1933. She married Charles Glenn Wallace, Jr. in Sac City, Iowa in 1933 and moved to Hastings, Nebraska to make their home until his retirement in 1976. They then moved to Peoria, Arizona where they lived until Mr. Wallace's death on August 4, 1988. She continued to live in Peoria until moving to The Kensington in Hastings, Nebraska in 1999. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Kappa Alpha Theta, P.E.O., and Lochland Country Club, all in Hastings, Nebraska.

Evelyn M. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Frances Arnold, Husband, Charles Glenn Wallace, Jr. and a brother, Russell Arnold.

Survivors include,

Robert Wallace - Hastings, NE
Daughter: Marlyn Wallace Coleman - Peoria, AZ
7 Grandchildren
4 Great Grandchildren

Daisy Elliott Cole

Daisy Elliott Cole, of Village Terrace, Good Samaritan Village, Hastings, Nebraska, died Thursday, October 26, 2000 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska.

Requiem Eucharist will be Monday, October 30, 2000; 11:00 A.M. at St. Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral with Very Rev. Richard J. Martindale officiating. Inurnment will be in All Souls Chapel, St. Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral, Hastings, Nebraska.

Family will be present in Common Room at St. Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral 1 hour prior to service to receive family and friends.

Daisy Elliott Cole was born icon in Jacksonville, Missouri, September 13, 1912. As a young girl, she moved with her family to central Iowa where she met and married Levi J. Cole on December 18, 1929. Mr. & Mrs. Cole farmed in the Perry, Iowa area for many years. Daisy was a farm wife and also worked at the Wheel Wright Car Agency and the Montgomery Ward Store in the catalog department in Perry, Iowa. After Mr. Cole's untimely death in a farm related accident in 1964. Daisy remained in Perry where she worked as a cook at the Elks Lodge. In 1967, she moved to Hastings, Nebraska to be close to her family. While in Hastings, Daisy worked for the Dutton Lainson Company and was a night clerk at the Clarke Hotel for 7 years. After moving to Hastings, Daisy was confirmed into St. Mark's Episcopal Church, was a faithful communicant there and a member of the Altar Guild. Daisy is a member of Women of The Moose Lodge and D.O.E.S both in Iowa. Memorials in her honor may be given to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 5th and Burlington, Hastings, Nebraska, 68901.

She is survived by one daughter; Norma Wicks Hansen of Hastings, Nebraska, grandson; Cole Wicks and wife Marilyn and great grandchildren, Jessica and Levi, all of Hastings, granddaughter; Connie Scism and husband, Tony and great grandchildren, Ben, Nikki and Blake Scism, all of Aurora, Nebraska, granddaughter; Corinne Nuss and husband, Douglas and great grandchildren, Ashlee and Emalee, all of Sutton, Nebraska; former son-in-law, Gerald D. Wicks of Elwood, Nebraska and one niece, Velma McDowell and husband, Earl, of Perry, Iowa; Great nieces, Marcia Fink and Vicki Price and their families; and special friends, Chuck and Ginny Morris of Perry, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and her husband, Levi.

Rolland E. Glantz

Rolland E. Glantz, 76, of 418 S. Woodland, died Thursday, October 26, 2000 at his home.

Services will be Monday, October 30, 2000; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Barry Rempp officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rolland E. Glantz was born icon December 27, 1923 in Fairfield, Nebraska to Conrad & Elizabeth (Aschenbrenner) Glantz. He graduated from Harvard High School, Harvard, Nebraska. He farmed in the Clay County and Hastings, Nebraska area and married Marilyn Curry on August 19, 1951 in Hastings, Nebraska. They later divorced. She preceded him in death in 1995. He was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ.

Rolland E. Glantz was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.

Survivors include, Daughters & Sons-in-law: Kathy & Fran Gruba - Hastings, NE, Lucinda & Eric Miller - Amarillo, TX

Granddaughters: Ashley Gruba - Hastings, NE, Elyse Miller - Amarillo, TX, Courtney Miller - Amarillo, TX

Joyce L. Vossler, 43, of 3240 Pony Express Rd., Glenvil, Nebraska died Sunday, October 29, 2000 at her home.

Services will be Wednesday, November 1, 2000; 10:00 A.M. at First Christian Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Judith Allen officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, November 1, 2000; 2:00 P.M. in Mount Hope Cemetery, Beaver City, Nebraska.

Joyce L. Vossler was born icon April 12, 1957 in Wray, Colorado to James Levi & Shirley Maxine (Artz) Melton. She moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1979 and married Greg Vossler on December 10, 1988 at First United Methodist Church, Friend, Nebraska. She was employed as a senior buyer for Ingersoll-Dresser Pump Company, now Flow-Serve. She attended First Christian Church and was a member of Nebraska Pony Express Association, Hastings Saddle Club, Circle C.T.N. Riders and Association of Production & Inventory Control Specialists.

Joyce L. Vossler was preceded in death by her parents.

Anastasia Jane ‘AJ' Hallgrimson, 3, of 9208 S. Logan Ave., Roseland, Nebraska, died Monday, October 30, 2000 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas, due to injuries sustained from head trauma.

Services will be Friday, November 3, 2000; 3:00 P.M. at Megrue-Price Funeral Home, Superior, Nebraska with Rev. Patsy Busey officiating.

Rosary will be Saturday, November 4, 2000; 10:00 A.M. at Assumption Catholic Church, Rural Roseland, Nebraska with Father Thomas Au officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will follow immediately. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Rural Roseland, Nebraska.

Anastasia Jane ‘AJ' Hallgrimson was born icon August 27, 1997 in Hastings, Nebraska to James R. & Rose M. (Mousel) Hallgrimson.

Ivan D. Hoagland, 80, of 2035 S. Technical Blvd., Hastings, Nebraska, died Tuesday, October 31, 2000 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Saturday, November 4, 2000; 10:00 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Kathleen Kasper officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Ivan D. Hoagland was born icon December 2, 1919 in Adams County, Nebraska to Frank & Anna (Uden) Hoagland. He served in the United States Army during WWII from October 10, 1941 until August 22, 1945 in the Pacific Theater. On June 25, 1947, he married Lavina Theesen. He was a life long Adams County farmer. He was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church where he was an usher and served on the Stewards of Finance.

Ivan D. Hoagland was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, LaMoine Ivan Hoagland; 2 brothers and 1 granddaughter.
