Fitl -- Walter J., 75, Lincoln, died Thursday (5/15/2003) . Born to Czech immigrants (11/26/27) in Swanton. Attended Swanton High School before serving in U.S. Navy at the end of World War II, assigned to Pacific Theater. married Eileen Seagle of Fremont (4/26/52) and had three children. Settled in Lincoln, where Walter worked for Sperry TV. Joined Western Electric where he had a 30-year career. After retirement, worked part time transporting vehicles for various auto dealerships throughout the Midwest. Became master Mason in 1974 as a member of Masonic Lodge 297, Lincoln.
Loved red Mercurys, John Wayne movies and dry humor. We will miss him, but we know that even now he is enjoying his mother's great Czech food.
