Farmed until 1968 when he purchased the former Kacirek Brothers Store in Weston and renamed it Adolph's Grocery, which he operated until his 1980 retirement. Member, past commander, American Legion Post 308, Weston; chairman, Weston Centennial Committee, 1976; former member, Weston Town Board. Veteran, World War II; served with the U.S. Army in the South Pacific.
