Preceded in death by husband, Daniel J., formerly of Lincoln; parents; sisters, Dora and Agens Klentz; brothers, Reuben and Robert Klentz, all formerly of Norfolk; stepdaughters, Donna Barclay and Mary Lee Lehl, both formerly of Lincoln.

Nefzger -- Patricia M. "Pat," 80, Lincoln, died Sunday (8/25/2002). Born, Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Theodore and Mildred (Powell) McKinney. American Red Cross employee and volunteer since 1951. Together with her husband, Ted, received the 1997 Harold Hill Humanitarian Award for Service from the Red Cross. Pat brought many Red Cross programs to the Lincoln Public Schools and for building a strong campus Red Cross at UNL. Former board member, Capital City Humane Society. Board member, Loren Eisely Foundation.
Survivors: son, daughter-in-law, Timothy and Mary, Weston, Mo.; daughter, Alix Nefzger Frazer, Fresno, Calif.; grandsons, spouses, Michael S. and Kathryn Saenz Frazer, Matthew B. and Christine Walker Frazer, James D. Frazer, all of Fresno; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Tyler Frazer, Abigail and Sean Frazer. Preceded in death by husband, Theodore "Ted"; parents.
Memorial service: 3 p.m. Friday, Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St. Cremation. No visitation. Memorials to the Lancaster County Chapter of the American Red Cross or the Loren Eisely Foundation.

Otto -- Vera I., 90, Lincoln, died Friday (8/23/2002).
Services: 11 a.m. today, Redeemer Lutheran Church, 510 S. 33rd St., with luncheon immediately following service. Graveside services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Valley View Cemetery, Torrington Wyo., conducted by Coyler Funeral Home, Torrington. No visitation. Parker -- Phyllis L., 95, Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Lincoln, died Thursday (8/23/2002) in Colorado Springs. Born, Lorain, Ohio, (8/27/06) to Albin and Marguerite (Breen) Nore. Homemaker. Member, First-Plymouth Congregational Church; Chapter BY, PEO, past president and state president. Graduate, Lorain High School. After graduation, worked for the Red Cross. married Donald I. Parker, Cleveland, Ohio, (9/24/29). They lived in Ohio and Michigan before moving to Lincoln in 1938, where he worked for Security Mutual Life Insurance Company, where he served as president for many years. Accompanied her husband to local, district and international Kiwanis functions. Moved to Colorado Springs in 1991.
Survivors: daughters, sons-in-law, Shirley and John Hardin, Castle Rock, Colo., Carol and Tom Shonka, Manitou Springs, Colo.; son, daughter-in-law, Dale and Marilyn Parker, Winnetka, Ill.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, parents, four brothers, three sisters.

Sytsma -- Milton J., 83, McCook, died Aug. 17 following a lengthy battle with heart disease and Parkinson's.
