Rachel J. (Levesque) Laliberte
Rachel J. (Levesque) Laliberte, 76, of St. Hollbrook Terrace, Pembroke Pines, Florida and formerly of Hudson and Merrimack, died Tuesday, July 2 at the Memorial Pembroke Hospice.

She was born in Nashua on July 29, 1927 a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Levesque. She was the widow of Lucien H. Laliberte who died in 1981. She was a long time resident of Hudson and Merrimack, moving to Florida 25 years ago. She loved to travel to visit her family. Mrs. Laliberte was a volunteer at the golf and tennis Club in Pembroke Florida. She was a communicant of St. Boniface Church in Florida.

Mrs. Laberte is survived by: six sons and three daughters-in-law; Richard and Kathleen Laliberte of Hudson; Paul Laliberte of Brattleboro, Vermont; Donald Laliberte of Nashua; Gerry and Shannon Laliberte of Woodenville, Washington, David and Deborah Laliberte of Orlando, Florida and Bruce Laliberte of Randallstown, Maryland.

She is also survived by: fifteen grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; one sister, Olivette Lefebvre of Nashua; two brothers and a sister-in-law; Noel Levesque of Albany, New Hampshire and Armand and Theresa Levesque of Nashua; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Teofila Laquio
Teofila Laquio, 80, of Timothy Lane, Hudson died Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at her home.

She was born in Dipolog, Philippines on July 22, 1923. She was the widow of Claudio Laquio.

Mrs. Laquio was a longtime resident of Hudson and was a communicant of St. Kathryn’s Church.

Mrs. Laquio is survived by: Five sons, Wilfredo Laquio, Arthur Laquio, Romeo Laquio, Claudio Laquio and Rolando Laquio all of the Philippines; five daughters, Erlinda Oprisio of Tampa, FL, Virginia Laquio of Hudson, Esterlita Leach of Wichita, KS, Janet Laquio and Cheryl Laquio both of the Philippines; 28 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Anctil-Rochette and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Georgette (Benjamin) Luciano
Georgette (Benjamin) Luciano, 71, of Frenette Drive, Hudson, died Sunday, October 5, 2003 at St, Joseph Hospital in Nashua.

She was born October 4, 1932 in Providence, Rhode Island, daughter of the late Arthur and Aurora (Belanger) Benjamin.

Mrs. Luciano was the wife of Alphonse Luciano of Hudson.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, survivors include: Two sons and one daughter-in-law, Al Luciana of Fall River, Massachusetts, and Arthur and Pauline Luciano of Hudson; one daughter and one son-in law, Jeannie and Rick Archambault of Colebrook, New Hampshire; one brother, Arthur Benjamin, Jr. of Tiviton, Rhode Island; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Jack P. Muskiewicz
Jack P. Muskiewicz, 56, of Henry Dr., Hudson, died Wednesday, April 9, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 22, 1946 in East Grand Rapids, Michigan, son of Paul Muszkiewicz of Grand Rapids Michigan and the late Jean (Wysocki) Muszkiewicz.

Mr. Muskiewicz was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Hudson. He was a graduate of the University of Michigan, Class of 1969. Mr. Muskiewicz was a Process Engineer for 30 years at Hampshire Chemical before his retirement in 2001. Mr. Muskiewicz loved gardening and watching sports. His greatest joy was taking walks on the beach or cruising with Marion, his wife of 33 years.

Besides his father, survivors include his wife, Marion (Schulz) Muskiewicz of Hudson, a son, Stephen Muskiewicz of Merrimack, a daughter, Kristina Muskiewicz of Waltham MA, a brother and a sister-in-law, Robert and Sandra Muszkiewicz of Scottsdale, Arizona, four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Margaret and Barry Leib of Lady Lake FL, Susan Clements of Grand Rapids Michigan, Cynthia and Radall Ruwersma of Cedar Springs Michigan, Christine and Steven Derezinski of Middleville Michigan. Also several nieces, nephews, and cousins,

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Hudson on April 22, at 5:00 p.m. All are invited to attend. Donations may be made in Jack's loving memory to either the PSP Society, Woodholme Medical Building, Suite 515, 1838 Greene Tree Road, Baltimore MD 21208 or St. John the Evangelist Church, 27 Library St., Hudson NH 03051.

Louis Francis Mustone
Louis Francis Mustone, 54 of Bonnie Lane, Hudson died Thursday, October 2, 2003 in Pelham.

Born May 21, 1949 in Framingham Massachusetts, he was the son of Louis Anthony Mustone of Springhill Florida and son of the late Dorothy (Haley) Mustone. He was the husband of Bonnie (Riehl) Mustone, of Hudson with whom he had been married for 30 years.

Mr. Mustone was a communicant of St. John Evangelist church.He grew up in Framingham, Massachusetts and attended St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Anesthesia for Registered Nurses in Providence Rhode Island. He worked for many hospitals in the Boston Area and worked for St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua from 1987 – 1999.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Hudson. He was a proud member of the NRA and enjoyed sharing this hobby with his friends. He held a special place in his heart for Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson and Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua. He was a loving husband and was his wife Bonnie’s best friend and had many friends that were dear to him.

Besides his wife and father, survivors include: Two daughters, Heather and Kelly Mustone, both of Hudson; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Debbie Mustone of Saratoga Springs New York; in-laws, William and Gladys Riehl of Clinton Ontario Canada; three brothers-in-law, Robert Riehl of Ben Miller Ontario Canada; Douglas Riehl of Bayfield Ontario Canada and Larry Riehl of Cambridge Ontario Canada and one sister-in-law, Brenda Fitzsimmons of Bayfield Ontario Canada. Survivors also include: one great-niece and one great-nephew as well as several nieces and nephews.

Catherine Klimas Roby
Catherine Klimas Roby, 89, of Hudson, New Hampshire died at home on October 19, 2003 after a brief illness. Mrs. Roby was born in Gardner, Massachusetts on May 5, 1914, daughter of the late Alexander and Anna (Zedalis) Klimas. She was the widow of Howard H. Roby. Catherine was a member of the Hudson Seniors. She knitted countless pairs of gloves, hats and mittens that she donated to the Seniors Craft Fairs. She was well known for her paintings of New England and the seashore. She was an avid reader and especially loved books about Australia. Mrs. Roby eagerly shared the fruits, vegetables and flowers that she grew in her gardens, and could often found working in her yard. She is survived by two sisters; Mary Lindquist and Nellie Donah; two sister-in-law, Stella Klimas and Isabelle Klimas; several nieces, nephews; and special friends. A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 23, at the Holy Cross cemetery, Ledge Road in Hudson.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to Home Health and Hospice, Hospice Home Care Division, 22 Prospect Street, Nashua, NH 03060. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements. Regards, Michele Phaneuf-Plasz

Timothy R. Sabol
Timothy R. Sabol, 38 of Old Fort Lane, Dunbarton, New Hampshire died Saturday, October 18, 2003 at University Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

Born December 9, 1964 in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of Ronald H. and Claire (Beaupre) Sabol of Brookline New Hampshire and husband of Sharon (Othot) Sabol or Dunbarton, New Hampshire.

Mr. Sabol received a BS degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Industrial Engineering and also a Masters degree in Business Administration from Plymouth State University.

He was employed as a sales manager for Roadway Express.

Tim was an extraordinary man who savored life. He was passionate about sports and loved cooking for a crowd. He also enjoyed camping with family and friends and relaxing on his boat. Tim loved having fun and making sure everyone around him was having fun too. More than anything, he cherished, adored and celebrated his family and friends. All who knew him appreciated his compassion and kindness. His life was too short, but his legacy of love and laughter will live on forever and he will be greatly missed.

Besides his wife and parents, survivors include: 1 brother and sister-in-law, Ronald M. and Darlene Sabol of Warwick, Rhode Island; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Karl Dowling of Brookline; 3 other brothers-in-law, Steven Othot of Wilton, Jason Othot and Brian Othot, both of Nashua; and 1 niece and 3 nephews.

William J. Sawicki
William J. Sawicki, Jr. 68, of Clark Street, Hudson, died Tuesday, May 27 at his residence. He was born February 18, 1935 in Nashua, son of Mary (Grosky) Sawicki of Hudson and the late William Sawicki, Sr.

Mr. Sawicki was the husband of Marjorie (Prouty) Sawicki of Hudson. He was a lifelong resident of Hudson.

Mr. Sawicki retired from the US Army following 20 years of service and receiving two Bronze Stars. He worked for Pinkerton Security for 15 years as a security guard.

He and his wife were owners of Marge and Bill’s Groceries and Gifts in Washington, New Hampshire and they loved spending time at Highland Lake.

Mr. Swicki also received a degree from CASS Flower School in Watertown Massachusetts. He previously taught CCD at St. Stanislaus Church in Nashua.

Mr. Sawicki enjoyed traveling and watching television and he had a passion for cars. Mr. Sawicki will be remembered by many as a classic Santa Claus look-a-like.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie (Prouty) Sawicki of Hudson; his mother, Mary (Grosky) Sawicki of Hudson; and many dear friends. The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home in Nashua is in charge of arrangements.

John J. Sears, Jr.
John J. Sears, Jr., 62, of Old Derry Road, Hudson, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 9, 2003 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry.

Mr. Sears was born August 26, 1941 in Springfield, Massachusetts, son of the late John Jr., and Mary (Burke) Sears.

He was the Husband of Susan (Maki) Sears, to whom he had been married for 31 years.

Mr. Sears lived in Hudson for the past 25 years.

He worked for McKesson in Methuen, MA for 32 years, prior to his retirement two years ago.

Mr. Sears was a member of the Springfield MA Elks Lodge 61 for 32 years. He was also a member of the Carbon Scrapers Car Club.

He was a loving family man whose greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughter.

Besides his wife, survivors include: two daughters, Lisa Sears and her fiancé Jose Santiago of Londonderry, and Kimmy Sears of Hudson; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Ryan Santiago of Londonderry; one sister Rita Lynch and her husband Kevin of Springfield, MA; one Aunt, Terry Sears of Ludlow, MA; a mother-in-law and a father-in-law, Sylvester and Lucille Maki of Chicopee, MA; four sisters-in-law, Carol Corriveau and her husband Rick of Chicopee, MA; Lynn Lesser and her husband Phil of Agawam, MA; Debbie Maki of Chicopee, MA, and Joanne Hill of Springfield, MA; one brother-in-law, David Maki of Holyoke, MA; three nephews, Tom Lynch and John Lynch, both of Springfield, MA, and Joshua Lesser of Agawam, MA; two nieces, Emily Corriveau and Madeline Corriveau, both of Chicopee, MA; also, many cousins and many dear friends.

Helen (Karlonas) Settle
Helen (Karlonas) Settle, 80 of Iris Path, Hudson died Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at the Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua.

She was born May 13, 1923 in Nashua, daughter of the late Adolfas and Mary (Barisaihuti) Karlonas.

Mrs. Settle was the widow of James E. Settle, Jr., who died in November of 2002.

She was predeceased by a son, James W. Settle in February of 2001, and also by several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Settle was a former parishioner of St. Casmir’s Church.

During World War II, she was an employee of St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua where she worked as a CNA.

She enjoyed gardening and nature.

Survivors include one son, John Settle of Derry, one daughter and one son-in-law, Mary Louise and Halton Woods of Amherst, five grandchildren, Christopher Settle of Camp Lajoun, NC, Jennifer Settle of Lock Haven, PA, Patricia Woods of Milford, Christine Godbois and Michael Woods, both of Wilton, NH, one great-grandchild, Tyler Santinelli of Milford.
