Robert L. Boucher
Robert L. Boucher, 55, a resident of Hudson, died Thursday January 8 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, New Hampshire. He was the beloved husband for 32 years of Mary E. (Shanahan) Boucher.

Born in Lowell on May 31, 1948, a son of the late Louis Boucher and Rose (Rousseau) Boucher and stepson of Rosemarie (Dery) Boucher of Dracut. He received his education in the Dracut school system and was a graduate of Dracut High School class of 1966. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Fitchburg State College in Fitchburg and a Masters degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

An honorably discharged veteran, Mr. Boucher served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Prior to his illness he was employed as an elementary teacher for the Wilmington School System for 28 years. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, camping and spending summers at Totem Pole Park in Freedom, New Hampshire.

He was a communicant of St. Kathryn Church in Hudson, a member of the Massachusetts Teacher's Association, the Wilmington Teacher's Association, and the Totem Pole Park Association in Freedom, New Hampshire.

In addition to his wife and stepmother Mr. Boucher is survived by: two children, Jonathan R. Boucher and Bethany L. Boucher, both of Hudson; a brother Kenneth A. Boucher and his wife Gail of Aiken, SC; a sister Gail Howard and her husband Edward of Hampton, New Hampshire; his mother-in-law Claire Shanahan of Dracut; two brothers-in-law Paul Shanahan and his wife Donna of Pelham, New Hampshire and James Shanahan of Dracut; several nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Shirley (Duncklee) Breen
Shirley (Duncklee) Breen, 77, of Derry Lane, Hudson, died Monday, June 28, 2004, at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua. She was born May 21, 1927, in Nashua, daughter of the late Merton and Clara (Harvey) Duncklee. Mrs. Breen was the wife of John Breen of Derry Lane in Hudson.

Mrs. Breen was employed with the former Ingersol Rand Company where she worked as a bookkeeper for 48 years.

She was previously a member of the Daughters of the Civil War, Treasurer of IMCO Retirees, and was the Assistant Treasurer of the Hudson Seniors.

Mrs. Breen loved reading and enjoyed traveling.

She was predeceased by five brothers, Richard H. Duncklee, Irving L. Duncklee, Gerald R. Duncklee, Merton L. Duncklee, Charles F. Duncklee, as well as by one sister, Virginia Duncklee Boucher.

Besides her loving husband, survivors include one son and a daughter-in-law, Michael D. and Deborah Breen of Sanford, Michigan; one brother-in-law, Roger M. Boucher of Hudson; and one sister-in-law, Rose Duncklee of Fall River, Massachusetts; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Those wishing to make a donation in Shirley’s loving memory may do so to the Hudson Seniors Building Fund, 5 Jackson Drive, Hudson, New Hampshire 03051.

Donald W. Capone
Donald W. Capone, 78, of Melba Drive, Hudson, died Saturday, December 20, 2003 at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua.

Born in Revere, MA April 28, 1925, he was the son of the late Angelo and Florence (Sarne) Capone. He was the husband of Vivian K. (Hammett) Capone of Hudson.

Mr. Capone was a graduate of Revere High School and was an Army Veteran of World War II. Before his retirement he was an Insurance Underwriter for Kemper Insurance for 37 years and most recently worked part time for Hannaford’s Grocery store in Hudson.

Mr. Capone at one time was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Wilmington, MA. Mr. Capone enjoyed golfing, painting, horseshoes, cribbage and fishing.

Besides his wife survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law Donald W. and Terry Capone of Texas, Peter B. and Carrie Capone of Ashby, MA, Paul D. and Melanie Capone of Hudson, a daughter and son-in-law, Susan M. and William Fanjoy of Hudson, a brother, John Capone of Revere, MA and a sister Jean Picardi of Edgewater, FL, also sixteen grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Louis T. Cecere
Louis T. Cecere, 21, of Derry Road, Hudson died Monday, January 5, 2004 in Lebanon, New Hampshire following a snowboarding accident, which occurred while attempting a jump at the Loon Mountain Snow Boarding Park on Saturday.

He was born September 25, 1982 in Lawrence, MA son of Louis A. and Beth (Treversy) Cecere of Hudson.

Louis was a 2001 graduate of Alvirne High School, were he was Class President his sophomore and junior years as well as a varsity football player. He also played Pop Warner Football for Hudson. He was an avid skateboarder and snowboarder and even snowboarded Tuckerman's Ravine.

Louis most recently attended UNH in Durham and previously attended Middlesex junior College as well as Hesser College in Dover.

He was a free spirit, known to many as a "Momma's Boy, " who lived life to the fullest, always had a smile for everyone, and appreciated each day as though it would be his last.

He was predeceased by his Nana, Dorothy Cecere.

Besides his parents, survivors include: one brother and one sister-in-law, Tuftonboro Chief of Police Andrew and Debi Shagoury of Tuftonboro, New Hampshire, three sisters and one brother-in-law, Kristine Cecere Spagnuolo and John Bowden of Dover, New Hampshire, Ashleigh and Ron Jr., Murdock of Dover, New Hampshire, Bethellen Cecere of Hudson, a paternal grandfather, William Cecere of Ladylake, FL, a maternal grandmother, Lee Lomdard of Nashua, four aunts and two uncles, Ann and Roger Livermore of Nashua, Elaine DeMatteo of Ladylake, FL, Billy and Theresa Cecere of California, Dorothy Howes of Tampa, FL, two Nephews, Kevin Shagoury of Tuftonboro, New Hampshire, and his Godson Ronald Murdock III of Dover, New Hampshire, five nieces, Nicole Shagoury, Cheree Shagoury, Amanda Shagoury, Hannah Shagoury all of Tuftonboro, New Hampshire, and Gwendolyn Bowden of Dover, New Hampshire, also many cousins, several special friends: Mawan Awwad, Larry Nesky, Justin Minnahan, Derek Christler, Scott Sulfridge, Nick Roketenetz, Andy Hazleton, Matt Cardin, Amanda Thorton, and Jean Nichols, as well as many other very dear friends.

A Funeral Service will held at the Church of the Good Shepard, 214 Main St., Nashua on Friday at 1:30 p.m. All are invited and may meet at the church. Burial will be in Hills Farm cemetery, Hudson. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Louis' loving memory to the Parents for Guidance Scholarship Fund, Alvirne High School, c/o Mike Dolphin, 200 Derry Rd., Hudson, NH 03051. Geraldine Chaplick
Geraldine Chaplick, 83, of Alvirne Drive, Hudson, died Thursday, January 29, 2004, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

Born June 13, 1920 in Windsor, Vermont, she was the widow of Frank George Chaplick who died May 16, 2003, and to whom she had been married for 60 years. She was the daughter of the late Jasper and Sally (Fitts) Lovett.

Mrs. Chaplick was a member of the Hannah Dustin Quilting Guild of Hudson. Her hobbies were quilting as well as traveling, boating, and swimming. She enjoyed spending time at her cabin up at Lake Ossipee in Freedom. A lot of the quilting work she had done was for the purpose of donating to premature infants, homeless people, and terminally ill children. She also volunteered her time at hospitals as well as donated caps she had hand made to premature infants. A lot of her handmade quilts were donated to David’s House in Hanover.

She also enjoyed her husband, children, and life in general. She was involved in social groups with people that had her same interests and she was known as a “Social Butterfly”.

Survivors include a son, James Chaplick of Nashua, a daughter, Carol Chaplick of Hudson with whom she lived. Also a nephew, Dana Lovett of Bourne, Massachusetts; four nieces, Ann Laird of San Mateo, California; Barbara Sheehan of Worcester, Massachusetts; Sabra Morneault of Oakdale, Connecticut; and Sally Lovett of New Hampshire; as well as a cousin, Ron Brown of Hudson.

Stewart Hall Coe
Stewart Hall Coe, 80, of Meadowlark Drive, Hudson, died Tuesday, March 16 at his residence.

Mr. Coe was born January 3, 1924 in Fayetteville, New York. He was the son of the late Alfred L. Coe and Pearl Coe Nichols. He was the husband of Anne (Jamrogiewcz) Coe of Hudson.

Mr. Coe was a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force, having served his country for over 27 years. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for Kollsman in Merrimack. He was a past member of the Fayetteville Methodist Church, and enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Besides his wife, survivors include two daughters and two sons in law, Cynthia Ann and Richard Meischeid of Jacksonville, Florida, and Carolyn and Michael Hardy of Hudson, two granddaughters, Heather Hardy and Tara Hardy, both of Hudson. One brother, George Hardy of Sonora, California, one niece, Deborah Gosselin of Manchester, one nephew, George Coe of California, as well as several sisters in law and brothers in law.

There are no funeral services. Burial will be held at a later date. The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry Street, Hudson, is in charge of arrangements.

Sophie (Wolczok) Corosa
Sophie ('Walczok) Corosa, 81 of Riverside Drive, Hudson, died Tuesday, January 13, at the Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua.

She was born in Nashua, on March 16, 1922, daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Vilbick) Wolczok.

Mrs. Corosa was the widow of Vito P. Corosa who died in July of 1997.

She was also predeceased by two brothers, Peter Wolczok and John Wolczok.

Mrs. Corosa was previously employed by Jackson Mills in Nashua and was one of the fist 25 people to be employed in Nashua by Sanders Associates. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include: one son and one daughter-in-law, Michael and Rose Ann Corosa of Hudson; one grandson, Daniel Corosa of Hudson; two nieces; one nephew; several great nieces; as well as many cousins.

Marguerite B. (Laplante) Cote
Marguerite B. (Laplante) Cote, 76, of Litchfield, and formerly of Gordon Street in Nashua died January 5, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was born in Bedford on September 28, 1927 a daughter of the late Alfred and Elina (Duperron) Laplante. She was the wife of Omer Cote of Litchfield.

Mrs. Cote was a longtime resident of Nashua moving to Litchfield three months ago. She had been employed by the former Producer's Dairy, and Pandora's for many years, and prior to her retirement in 1993 she had been employed by Sprague Electric. Mrs. Cote loved knitting and sewing. She was a communicant of St. Christopher Church.

She was predeceased by: four brothers, Emile Laplante, Henri Laplante, Lucien Laplante, and Joseph G. Laplante, also four sisters, Marcelle Morgan, Maria Laplante, Anita Moffette, and Lorraine Richard.

Besides her husband of 57 years, Mrs. Cote is survived by: one daughter and son-in-law; Diane and Paul Lozeau of Litchfield, two grandchildren; Christine Estes and her husband Stephen and Kevin Lozeau and his wife Megan, two great grandchildren; Megan and Michael Estes, two sisters and a sister-in-law; Juliette McCoo and Theresa and Roland Duhaime all of Manchester, one brother; Gennain and Elsie Laplante of Manchester, also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arthur F. Dolan
Arthur F. Dolan, 66 of Stoney Lane, Hudson died Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at his home after a brief illness.

Born April 5, 1937 in Boston, Massachusetts and he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Estelle M. (Fitzgerald) Dolan. He was pre-deceased by one brother, David Dolan and one sister, Carlene Donna Dolan.

Mr. Dolan was employed as a computer operator at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. He was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Londonderry. He was an avid record collector and enjoyed country gospel music. He also served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include: his wife, Gail E. (Field) Dolan, of Hudson; three daughters and three sons-in-law; Lisa and John Anastas, of Hixson, Tennessee; D. Carlene and Michael Shores, of Poolesville, Maryland, and Valerie and Jeff Moore, of Raymond, New Hampshire; three brothers, James Dolan, of Waltham, Massachusetts; Donald Dolan, of Port Charlotte, Florida; and Thomas Dolan of Fredericksburg, Virginia; one sister, Maureen Stevens, of Port Charlotte, Florida and 5 grandchildren as well as many close friends.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated in the Victory Baptist Church in Londonderry on February 21. There were no visiting hours. A private burial was held at the New Hampshire Veterans cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Dolan’s memory to Victory Baptist Church Building Fund, 78 Litchfield Road, Londonderry, NH 03053. The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry Street, Hudson was in charge of arrangements.
