Adele Bonhomme
Adele Bonhomme, 77, of Charbonneau Street, Hudson, died at home Thursday, March 3 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Somerville, Massachusetts January 7, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Alessardao and Noenin (Ronragna) Bartolucci.

She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Hudson.

Mrs. Bonhomme enjoyed shopping and going for outdoor walks.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Daniel Bonhomme, Sr. of Hudson; a son, Daniel Bonhomme, Jr. of Hudson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Bruce Hughes of Hudson and Mary Lou and Douglas McCrady of Londonderry; also four grandchildren, Adam Hughes of Hudson, Alex and Travis McCrady of Londonderry, and Emilie Bonhomme of Hudson.

The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home in Hudson was in charge of arrangements.

Glenys A. “Penny” Boucher
Glenys A. “Penny” Boucher, 85, of 12 Fairview Avenue, Nashua, died Tuesday evening, January 25th at St. Joseph Hospital, after an extended illness.

Mrs. Boucher was born in Nashua on July 30, 1919, daughter of the late John and Blanche (Merrill) Locke and was a lifelong resident of Nashua.

She was the wife of the late George A. Boucher, whom she married on August 30, 1941. The couple had celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary, prior to his death on May 11, 1984.

Mrs. Boucher had been employed with the former J.F. McElwain Shoe Company in Nashua, and then at Sprague Electric Company for many years and retired from the former Doehla Greeting Card Company.

Educated in local schools, Mrs. Boucher graduated from Nashua High School in 1938 and from Michael’s School of Hairdressing in Manchester in 1939. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Nashua and was a member of the Rosary Altar Society.

As a young woman, Mrs. Boucher was an accomplished ballerina in the Nashua area. She loved seasonal camping at the Clearwater Camp Grounds.

Mrs. Boucher was predeceased by a brother, Willis Floyd and a sister, Beryl Dana. Members of her family include: four daughters and two sons-in-law, Gloria J. and Michael St. Pierre of Manchester; Georgianna A. Boucher of Nashua; Pauline L. Dingee of Manchester and Sheila M. and Daniel Crete of Hudson; three grandchildren, John and Joseph St. Pierre of Manchester and Charlotte Smalley and her husband, Jason of Derry; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Edward and Simone Boucher of Hillsboro and Donald and Cecile Boucher of Nashua; a sister-in-law, Louise Marchand of Nashua; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Farwell Funeral Service, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, is in charge of arrangements.

Louis Carey
Louis Carey, 74, of 10 Pine Road, Hudson, died at his home on Monday, March 14. He was born in Marblehead, Massachusetts on July 22, 1930, a son of Carrie (Stevens) Carey of Kingfield, Maine and the Late Albert Carrie. He had resided in Hudson for the past 21 years and previously in Pelham and Nashua.

He was the husband of Mary Jane (Hieler) whom he married on September 13, 1968 in Hawaii.

Mr. Carey was a 20 year veteran of the U. S. Army. Among his decorations are the Bronze Star, Vietnam Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. He was discharged in 1968 with the rank of Sergeant First Class.

He enjoyed building model boats, gardening, and caring for dogs. His memberships included Veterans of Foreign War Post 200 in Concord, the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, the Retired Armed Forces Association and TREAT. He was education in Marblehead and took college courses in Hawaii.

In addition to his wife survivors include three daughters Malialou Carey of Hudson, Loucinda Care of Derry, Sarinalou Carey and her finance Derek of Manchester, his sister Alice Leclerc of Florida, four brothers, Robert Carey of Mont Vernon; Dexter Carey of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; John Carey of Florida; and Henry Carey of Thomaston, Maine, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arrangements were in the care of Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street, Nashua.

Kathleen M. Cox
Kathleen M. Cox, 61 of Merrimack died Monday, December 27, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua after a long illness. She was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on August 31, 1943 a daughter of John and Kathleen (Coffey) Quirke. Mrs. Cox was a graduate from the College for Life Long Learning, with a degree in Religious Studies. She was the Director of Religious Education at St. John the Evangelist Church in Hudson. She was a long time resident of Merrimack and was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church. She was also a member of Voices in Harmony in Nashua. Members of her family include her husband John Cox of Merrimack, two sons, John F. Cox, Lowell, Massachusetts, and Michael Cox, Merrimack, three daughters, Karen Avard, Manchester, and Helen Caron and Kathleen Cox both of Merrimack, eight grandchildren, and two brothers, Maurice Quirke, Clinton, Massachusetts and Kerry Quirke, Brighton, Massachusetts; three sisters, Brenda Boyle and JoAnne Reynolds both of Marlboro, Massachusetts, and Susan Bray, Braintree, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated December 31, 2004 in St. John the Evangelist Church, Hudson. Memorial contributions may be made to Souhegan Home and Hospice Care, 24 North River Road, Milford, New Hampshire 03055 or to the Oncology Center at St. Joseph Hospital, 172 Kinsley Street, Nashua, New Hampshire 03060. The George R. Rivet Funeral Home in Merrimack was in charge of arrangements.

Theresa A. Crete
Theresa A. Crete, 66, of Burton Street, Hudson, died Wednesday, February 16 at the VA Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Born in West Stewartstown, she was the daughter of Simonne (Gelinas) Biron of Colebrook and the late Edward Biron.

Mrs. Crete was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Hudson. She enjoyed reading, painting, and ceramics. She was an Air Force Veteran. Besides her mother survivors include her husband Adrian Crete of Hudson, five sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel E. and Sheila Crete of Hudson, Ronald F. and Leslie Crete of Litchfield, Robert S. and Laurie Crete of Laconia, Richard R. and Paula Crete of Woodbridge, Virginia, and David Crete of Hudson. A daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne M. and Alan Semple III of Litchfield. A brother, Edward Biron Jr. of Epping; two sisters, Sadie Guy of Stewartstown, and Rita Gervais of Colebrook; 10 grandchildren, Erin Crete of Londonderry, Elana Crete of Londonderry, Devon Crete of Litchfield, Victoria Semple of Litchfield, Tiffany Semple of Litchfield, Sarah Crete of Woodbridge, Jessica Crete of Woodbridge, Alisha Crete of Laconia, Brian Crete of Laconia, and Melanie Crete of Laconia. Also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

John C. Crisman
John C. Crisman, Lieutenant, U.S. Navy, Retired, 78, resident of 2 Jennifer Lane, Amherst, New Hampshire died March 31, 2005 at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, New Hampshire after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Mobile, Alabama on August 12, 1926, a son of the late John and Frances Mae (Miracle) Crisman.

Mr. Crisman had been a resident of Amherst for the past nine years and had formerly resided in Hudson, New Hampshire for many years.

Mr. Crisman entered the U.S. Navy in 1944. His military career spanned more than 25 years having served during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He received numerous awards including the Navy Commendation First and Second Award with Combat “V”, European-African Middle Eastern Campaign, Navy Occupation Service Medal, WWII Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with six Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon. In 1970, he retired and held the rank of Lieutenant. After his retirement from the Navy, he had been employed by the City of Nashua.

He was an avid gardener, sailor, and craftsman and also enjoyed fine dining.

Mr. Crisman was a loving husband, a devoted father, and grandfather.

He was predeceased by a brother, Henry Beard; two grandsons, Kyle and Timothy Crisman.

Family members include his wife of 53 years, Margaret A. (Dudley) Crisman of Amherst, New Hampshire; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sue E. and Gary Slamin of Francestown, New Hampshire, Sheila A. Crisman of Boise, Idaho; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kirk and Polly Crisman of Nashua, New Hampshire, Erik and Kathy Crisman of Amherst, New Hampshire and Mark D. and Peggy Crisman of Bow, New Hampshire; 13 Grandchildren; a brother, Francis B. Crisman of Gulfport, Mississippi; three sisters, Katherine Peterson and LaMerle Bergeron both of Gulfport, Mississippi, Sue Durbec of Texas; cousins, Marcy and Richard Cunningham of Winchester, New Hampshire; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning at Smith and Heald Funeral Home in Milford, New Hampshire. Burial took place in St. Patrick’s cemetery in Amherst, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 Route 101, Unit 8, Bedford, New Hampshire 03110-5032.

Robert W. Dickey
Mr. Robert W. Dickey of Pelham died unexpectedly at his home on March 12.

He was married to the late Mrs. Donna M. (Sullivan) Dickey who died on February 8, 2002.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on February 5, 1938, the son of the late Wallace and Yvette (Hulmes) Dickey. He was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1956.

Over the years he was employed with Union National Bank in Lowell, Massachusetts, and Purity Supreme Supermarkets in Pelham, Salem, and Nashua. Most recently, he was employed with the Pelham School District until retiring in 2003. He was a communicant of St. Rita’s Church of Lowell, Massachusetts.

He is survived by a daughter and her husband, Kara and Mark Beauchamp of Swampscott, Massachusetts, and a son and his wife, Robert M. and Tracey (Reattie) Dickey of Windham; and three grandchildren, Robert P. Dickey, Daniel J. Dickey, Julia Rose Dickey, and the late Thomas A. Dickey all of Windham; two sisters, Shirley Davis of Lowell, and Claire and her husband, Raymond Cox of Lowell; he was the brother-in-law of Maureen A. Ferrari of Lynn, Massachusetts, Judith C. and Henry McDermott of Andover, Massachusetts, and Patricia A. and Ralph Wise of Lowell.

A Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 16 at St. Rita’s Church in Lowell. Memorials may be made in his name to the Donna (Sullivan) Dickey Memorial Fund, c/o Winchester Co-Operative Bank, 19 Church Street, Winchester, Massachusetts 01890. Arrangements by Dolan Funeral Home in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

Benoit “Benny” J. Joyal
Benoit “Benny” J. Joyal, 80, of Highland Street, Hudson, died Sunday, March 27, 2005 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 26, 1924 in Lowell, Massachusetts, son of the late Donat and Florida (Pellerin) Joyal.

He was the husband of the late Rita (Boisvert) Joyal, who died in February of 1995.

Mr. Joyal worked at Greenridge Turkey Farm Restaurant in Nashua for 20 years. After retiring form Greenridge, he and his wife Rita co-founded a catering business, Benny’s Catering. He was very devoted to their business and retired after 35 years of work.

He was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Hudson Post 48, as well as a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Hudson.

Mr. Joyal loved spending time with his family and enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City with them.

Survivors include one son, Rene Joyal of Hudson, and one daughter and a son-in-law, Susan and William Zelonis of Hudson. A brother, Aurelien “Joe” Joyal of Dracut, Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Erica Petralia of Hillsborough, New Hampshire, Peter Zelonis of Ascutney, Vermont, Christine Floyd and Bryan Joyal, both of Hudson.

Services were held on Wednesday in St. John the Evangelist Church in Hudson with burial in St. Patrick cemetery, Hudson.

Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Benny’s memory are asked to consider the Make A Wish Foundation of New Hampshire, 66 Hanover Street, Suite #101, Manchester, New Hampshire 03101. The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home in Hudson was in charge of arrangements.

Constant C. Joyce
Constant C. Joyce, 79, of A Street, Hudson, died Friday at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.

Born in Clinton, Massachusetts, July 29, 1925, he was the son of the late Frederick and Lucy (Drexler) Joyce Sr.

Mr. Joyce had worked for l8 years at the former Improve Machinery Co. While working there he invented the main components for the high capacity washier for pulp paper. He was also owned operated Connie’s Clock Repairing. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church. Mr. Joyce enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife Mary H. (Schoolcraft) Joyce of Hudson, two sons and a daughters in law Gerald and Patrice Joyce of Newton, Massachusetts, Richard and Sandra Joyce of Hudson, three sisters Lucy Sweeney of Littleton, Massachusetts, Claire Inferrara of Concord, Massachusetts, Joan Joyce of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, and three grandchildren, Mathew Joyce of Hudson and Elaine and Renee Joyce both of Newton, Massachusetts. Also several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son David Joyce

Donations may be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, New Hampshire 03054. The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home in Hudson is in charge of arrangements.

Gary T. Lee
Gary T. Lee, 60 of Bolivia, North Carolina, died Thursday, April 21, 2005 at his home, surrounded by family, after a long illness.

Born December 10, 1944, in Claremont, New Hampshire Gary grew up in Hudson, before serving his country in Vietnam. Gary returned home to reside in Londonderry with his wife and two sons until 1983, moving to Springfield, New Hampshire and residing there until 2003, before retiring to Bolivia, North Carolina.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Linda S. Lee of Bolivia, North Carolina; son, Thomas P. Lee and wife Allison and two grandsons, Jeremy and Tucker, son Timothy Lee and wife Jennifer, and granddaughter, Sophia; his parents, Fred and Ruth Lee all of Springfield, New Hampshire, two brothers, Richard Lee and Alan Lee, both of Florida and one sister, Sharon Lee of Deering, New Hampshire. Gary is also survived by numerous other family members and close friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Town Hall in Springfield, New Hampshire. A potluck luncheon will follow the service in the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 402, Bolivia, North Carolina 28422.
