Jeannette Legace

BERLIN, NH--A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Mrs. Jeannette Legace on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, following recitation of prayers at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High St., Berlin, NH.
Officiating at the service was Rev. Richard Roberge, including the reading of committal prayers. Interment was in St Anne Cemetery.
Sally Tourangeau served as cantor, accompanied by Susan Ramsey on the organ. Simonne Goudreau and Lorraine Croteau placed the Pall and Cross. Lorraine Croteau did the reading. The offertory gifts were presented by Lorraine Croteau and Simone Goudreau.
The pallbearers included Raoul Boucher, Maurice Tremblay, Donald Duquette, Bob Pelchat, Andre Gauthier and Henri Riendeau.
There were numerous local and out-of-town family members and friends who attended the services.

Annette Nadeau

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Mrs. Annette Nadeau, of Lancaster, NH, on Saturday April 23, 2005 at Holy Family Church, following recitation of prayers at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High St., Berlin, NH.
Officiating at the service was Rev. Ray A. Ball of Lancaster, including the reading of committal prayers. Interment was in Holy Family Cemetery.
Madeline Jeffery served as cantor ,accompanied by Jeanne Theberge on the organ. Her brother, Ernest Demers, and Denise Demers brought the offertory gifts.
The pallbearers included grandsons, Kenneth Cyr and Jeffery Cyr; granddaughters, Lori Nadeau and Amanda Nadeau; nephew, Louis Marchand and friend Brian Reed.
There were numerous local and out-of-town family members and friends who attended the services.

Gregory A. Supry

BUCKLAND, MA--Mr. Gregory A. Supry, 42, of Buckland, MA, passed away on August 20, 2005. He was born in Glasgow, Montana, on May 19, 1963, the son of Douglas J. and Christine C. (Guerin) Supry and had lived most of his life in the Berlin-Milan area and had resided in Massachusetts for the past few years. He was a graduate of Berlin High School with the Class of 1983. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Greg had been employed by Pike Industries for many years. He loved to ride motorcycles.
Members of the family include three daughters, Jessica Supry of Idaho Falls, ID, Melanie Supry of Idaho Falls, ID, and Kalaryn Hawes-Supry of Berlin, NH; a son, Keith Supry of Idaho Falls, ID; a grandson, Jacob; a sister, Denise Alonzo of Berlin, NH; five brothers, Douglas Supry, Jr., of Minot, ND, Leo Supry of Berlin, NH, Ronald Supry of Berlin, NH, Brad Supry of Berlin, NH and Brian Supry of Milan, NH; his girl friend, Rose Marie A. Butcher of Buckland, MA; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Bryant Funeral Home,180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH on Thursday morning August 25, 2005 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.

Claire T. Ramsey

BERLIN, NH--Mrs. Claire T. Ramsey, 69, of 749 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Berlin on April 24, 1936, the daughter of Armand and Aurelia (Roy) Desgroseilliers and was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1954 and was active in her alumni association for her high school class. She was a member of St. Anne Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish.
Members of the family include her husband, Louis Ramsey of Berlin, NH: three sons, Guy and his wife Claire of Berlin, NH, Mark and his wife Tammy of Wiscasset, ME and Gary and his wife Lisa of Berlin, NH; one daughter, Dyan Ramsey of Pittsfield, NH; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rolande Blanchette and her husband Norman of Berlin, NH, Blanche Turmel of Berlin, NH, and Yvonne Bergeron of Connecticut; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers, Rene Desgroseilliers, Roger Desgroseilliers, Rudolph Desgroseilliers, Conrad Desgroseilliers, Ronald Desgroseilliers and sisters, Rita Lacardo, Isola Saucier, Rejean Saucier, Simonne Desgroseilliers, Yrolande Desgroseilliers, Marcelle Desgroseilliers and Mary Rose Bellerose.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 29, at 11 a.m. at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH, on Friday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. For more information, please to go www.bryantfuneralhome.net.

Christine Smith Strange

BOWIE, TEXAS--Christine Smith Strange, 80, of Bowie, Texas, passed away at her home on October 25, 2005 after a long illness. She was born, August 14, 1925 in Decatur, Texas. She is survived by her children, Nelson Smith Jr., of Bowie, Texas; Patricia McGill of Berlin, and Janet Denstitt of Bowie, Texas. She is also survived by her former husband and father of her children, Nelson Smith, Sr., of Bowie, Texas; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and will be greatly missed!

Roland A. Brault, Sr.

BERLIN, NH--Roland A. Brault, Sr., 82, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital.
Mr. Brault was born January 16, 1923 in Woburn Canada, the son of the late Wilfred and Albertine (Roy) Brault.
He was a member of the Eagles and a past member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved to fish, hunt, camp and play cards with family and friends.
Mr. Brault is survived by his second wife, Rose Y. (Benoit) Brault; one son, Roland A. Brault, Jr., and his wife Suzzane M. of Berlin; four daughters, Laura Connolly and her husband Chuck of Berlin, Irene Haycook and her husband Robert of Neosho, MO, Paulette Brault of Berlin and Claudette Breault and her husband Pete of Eau Claire, WI; four brothers, Philibert, Denis, Marcel, and Robert, all of Canada; two sisters, Laura Roberts and Beatrice Tapp, also of Canada; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by six stepsons, George Prosper of Newton, NH, Patrick Prosper of Middleton, NH, Bruce Prosper of Groveton, NH, Norman Prosper of Oakland, ME, Richard Prosper of Benton, ME, and David Prosper of Livermore Fall, ME, and four stepdaughters, Agnes Edney of Pittsfield, NH, Marie Bullard of Phoenix, AZ, Anita Pilotto of Fort Smith, AR, and Christine Morton of Waldoboro, ME.
Mr. Brault was predeceased by his first wife, Irene (Griffin) Brault, in 1992. He was also predeceased by two sons, Roger and Paul, one daughte,r Antoinette, and two brothers, Paul and Fernand.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2005 at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish 345 Pleasant St, Berlin, NH. Callings hours will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High St. Berlin, NH. Interment will be in Holy Family Cemetery Gorham.
The family request donations be made to the Androscoggin Valley Hospital ICU Memorial Fund in Roland’s Name, 59 Page Hill Rd, Berlin, NH. 03570.

Anna M. Gosselin

BERLIN, NH--Funeral services for Mrs. Anna M. Gosselin, 100, formerly of 452 Madison Avenue, Berlin, NH, were held on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, following prayers at the Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Reverend Richard Roberge. Interment was in the St. Anne Cemetery. Father Roberge read the committal prayers.
The Pall Bearers were Gordon Dale, Steve Dale, Ed Gosselin and Roger Gosselin.
Many relatives and friends attended the services.

Eva S. Seman

GLENCLIFF, NH-Mrs. Eva S. Seman, 67, died Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Glencliff Home for the Elderly, Glencliff, NH. She was born January 16, 1938 in Berlin, NH, the daughter of the late Edward and Yvonne (Gagniere) Leclerc.
She had been a member of the former St. Kieran Church, now known as St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.
She married Michael Seman in Berlin, NH, on February 21, 1961. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2004.
She had been a stitcher for the Granite State Rubber Company.
Her family includes a son, Thomas Simmons and his wife Rebecca of Chapel Hill, NC; several brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Edward, she was preceded in death by one son, Albert George Cline
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday January 3, 2006 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant St. Berlin, NH. Burial will be in St. Kieran Cemetery, Berlin, NH.
Calling hours will be 6 –8 p.m. Monday evening, January 2, at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
Memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimer’s Association, Vermont and New Hampshire Chapter, 10 Ferry St. Suite 427 B, Concord, NH, 03301-5004.

Robert F. Morton

BERLIN, NH--Mr. Robert F. Morton, 80, of 306 High Street, Berlin, New Hampshire, passed away on Saturday evening, January 28, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Lancaster, NH, on August 1, 1925, the son of Foster T. and Thelma (Springer) Morton and had resided there until he entered the military in 1943. Upon his discharge from the US Navy in 1946 he moved to Hartford, CT ,where he met his wife Theresa. In 1950 they moved to Berlin and have resided here ever since. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Morton was employed by Granite State Rubber Company. He was a former member of the Methodist Church, a member of the White Mountain Post #2520 VFW, a life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a past president of the State and Local Aerie.
Members of the family include his wife, Theresa (Welch) Morton of Berlin; a son, Michael A. Morton of Dover; a daughter, Linda Whitlock of Berlin; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a cousin.
There will be no calling hours and no funeral services. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to a charity of one’s choice in his memory. Arrangements are being handled by the Bryant Funeral Home. For more information, please visit www.bryantfuneralhome.net.

Virginia M. Tardif

GORHAMMrs. Virginia M. Tardif, age 73, formerly of Berlin, NH, passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 28, 2006 at her daughter’s home, Faye Cornish, in Gorham, NH, after courageously fighting a long battle with cancer.
She was born November 1, 1932 in Berlin, NH., the daughter of Edward and Mary (McLain) Stephenson.
She married Joseph Gilbert L. Tardif on May 6, 1952 in Berlin, NH. He preceded her in death Christmas Eve 1977.
Virginia was a former member of St. Kieran Parish, now known as St. Anne Church of the Good Shepherd Parish of Berlin, NH.
She was a warm fun loving person. Not only did she raise her own seven children, she also raised her brother and sister when her own mother passed away from cancer. She loved to knit, scrapbook, and getting her hands dirty working in her flower garden.
Virginia was a member of the Eagles and the American Legion. She was also the past president and vice-president of the American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary
Before her retirement, she worked at Granite State Rubber Co., Bass Shoe, Wildthings, and Ron’s Market.
Her family includes three daughters, Faye Cornish of Gorham, Manetta Kanefsky and her husband Mitchell of Naples, Fl., Brenda Ashby and her husband Scott of Hill, NH; four sons, Alan Tardif and his wife Mary Jane of Berlin, Brian Tardif and his companion Robin of Brookline, NH, Wayne Tardif and his companion Cindy of Sanbornton, NH, and Randy Tardif and his wife Tammy of Berlin; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lorraine Roy and her husband Donald, Sr., of Berlin, her twin, Vivian Boisselle of Moultonborough, NH, Rita Lemieux and her husband Paul of Milan, Cynthia Mortenson and her husband Robert of Milan; sister-in-law, Melinda Stephenson of Columbia, Maryland; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister, Kathleen Dolak, one brother, Leslie Stephenson, brother-in-law, Raymond Boisselle, and a son-in-law, Dennis Cornish, Sr. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 4, 2006 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, Berlin, NH, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH. Interment will be in St. Kieran Cemetery, Berlin, NH
