John J. Zebliski
John J. Zebliski, 84, of Victoria Station, S.C., died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at his residence.
Zebliski was born on Sept. 24, 1916, in Hicksville, N.Y., a son of the late John Joseph and Stella Sowinsky Zebliski.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He served on the building committee for Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Fryeburg, Maine. He was also an officer and member of Fryeburg Lions Club for 16 years. He was a builder for 38 years in New York and Maine.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine Zebliski; three daughters, Joann Charters of Sebastopol, Calif., Roberta Lord of Murrells Inlet, S.C., and April Coen of Springfield, Vt.; 10 grandchildren, Everett Charters of California, Christopher Charters of Washington, Michael Lord of South Carolina, Kerry Lord of South Carolina, Shannon Barczak of South Carolina, Thomas Coen of Vermont, Timothy Coen of Vermont, Paul Coen of Vermont, Patrick Coen of Vermont, Kevin Coen of Vermont; two great-grandchildren, Ethan Barczak and Wyatt Barczak, both of South Carolina; and one step-grandchild, Brandon Kammerer of South Carolina.
A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m. at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church. Burial will be private.

Fletcher Albert Lyman
Fletcher Albert Lyman, 89, of Silver Lake, died Nov. 20, 2000, at the SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in North Conway following a long illness.
Born in Madison, the son of Fredrick and Pearle (Savary) Lyman, he was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Lyman was employed as a cabinet maker at John F. Chick and Son for 35 years.
He had been the Madison fire chief and a New Hampshire forest-fire warden for many years.
The family includes his wife of 66 years, Vesta (Shackford) "Betty" Lyman, of Silver Lake; a son, George A. Lyman, of Derry; two daughters, Janet I. Porter, of Salem, and Jane Lyman, of Concord; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; a sister, Helen West, of Nashua; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Madison Church, with the Rev. Sean Dunker-Bendigo, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Lyman Cemetery in Madison. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway.

Joseph A. Kozlowski
FRYEBURG - Joseph A. Kozlowski, 78, of Howe Street, died Monday, November 20, 2000, at the Maine Medical Center.
He was born in the Bronx of New York, the son of Anthony and Mary Malinowski Kozlowski, and attended Bronx vocational schools.
He was a World War II veteran, and received the purple heart after he was wounded in Vossenack, Germany. He was a truck driver his whole life and worked for Hygrad Milking Cream Company in Bronx, N.Y. He retired 16 years ago and moved to Fryeburg.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gladys Ridlon Kozlowski of Fryeburg; two sons, Joseph Kozlowski of Syracuse, N.Y. and Ernest Kozlowski of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Mary Jones of Hazlet, N.J.; two brothers, Stanley Kozlowski of Pompano Beach, Fla. and Frank Koslowski of New York; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Wood Funeral Home, 12 Warren Street in Fryeburg. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Route 5, Fryeburg with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt as the celebrant. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fryeburg.
Evelyn H. Jones
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. - Evelyn H. Jones, 80, of Pitman Street, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at the Blaire House in New Bedford. She was born in Fayette, Maine, the daughter of Alonzo and Grace Newcomb Hall.
She grew up in Melrose, Mass. and attended Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Mass. and the University of Maine in Gorham. From there, she received her BA degree and moved to Fryeburg, where she taught in the Fryeburg public schools.
Her husband, the late Rev. C. Weston Jones, had been pastor in Fryeburg Harbor, Hiram, Brownfield, Conway and Center Conway. Evelyn was a caring and loving wife and mother, and was very supportive of her husband's pastoral duties. She enjoyed playing the piano and working on church projects.
She is survived by six sons, F. Woodman Jones of Portland, Wendall H. Jones of Bogota, Colombia, Winston C. Jones, J. Wesley Jones, both of Boston; C. Weldon Jones of Arden Hill, Minn., Webster N. Jones of East Conway; two daughters, Barbara Crowley of Quincy, Mass. and Brenda Shepherd of New Bedford, Mass.; one sister, Elaine Magoon of Tyngsboro, Mass.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visiting hours will be from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24 at the Wood Funeral Home, 12 Warren Street in Fryeburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25 at the Bradley Memorial Methodist Church in Fryeburg Harbor with the Rev. Richard Male officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in North Fryeburg.

Mary (Hallas) Hall
CONWAY - Mary (Hallas) Hall, 95, formerly of McCloskey Street in Fall River, Mass., died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, at SunBridge Nursing Home in North Conway.
She was the wife of the late Gustave A. Hall, long-time executive with the former BMC Durfee Trust Co.
Born in Yorkshire, England, the daughter of the late Abel Hallas and the late Lucinda (Hainsworth) Hallas, she was a long-time resident of Fall River before moving to Eaton in 1992.
Hall was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Fall River, where she was a member of the DON Club of St. Mark's Church and its choir. She was a talented musician in her later years, and she enjoyed playing for the residents of SunBridge.
Hall was educated in local schools, and, after she graduated from business school, she enjoyed a career in the insurance industry.
She is survived by two sons, Donald H. Hall of Eaton Center and Dana R. Hall of Plymouth, Minn.; one sister, Clara Ashworth of Fall River; one brother, Fred Hallas of Fall River; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one nephew; and three cousins.
Visitation will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m., and the funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Cherry Place Home of Waring-Sullivan, Ashton, Coughlin, Driscoll, 178 Winter Street, Fall River, Mass. The burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Fall River. At the request of her family, please make memorial contributions to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 125 Mason Street, Fall River, Mass. 02723.
Paul George Chapman Morton
LOVELL - Paul George Chapman Morton, 90, of Kimball Road in Lovell, a retired postal worker, butcher, caretaker, handyman and humanitarian, died Nov. 17, 2000, at the Fryeburg Health Care Center.
He was born in Concord, Vt., the son of Halley and Amy Chapman Morton. His early years were spent in Vermont, and he later moved to North Conway and graduated from Kennett High School. Upon graduation he worked at various jobs including a long employment at Camp Winona and Wyonagonic in Denmark, Maine, and he traveled with the then-owners, the Cobb family, to Vero Beach, Fla., during the winter months, where he served as a chauffeur.
In 1940 he married Winona Gertrude Warren. The couple shared many common interests, including the collecting of coins and stamps, and together they owned "The Odd Fellow's Shop" in Lovell, with a collection of books, antiques, bric-a-brac, and, as described by Paul, just plain junk. Paul and Winona were founding members of the Lovell Historical Society; he was also a member of the Concord, Vt., Historical Society.
His wife died in 1987. He is survived by one sister, Louise Helen Morton Perrin, and a niece, Lissa Winslow, both of Ann Arbor, Mich., a grandniece and nephew, Rachel and Joshua Sholder, and a close friend, Priscilla Beckloff, of Landsdale, Pa., who grew up in the Morton family.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the No. 4 Cemetery in Lovell, with Rev. Duncan Howlett, Rev. Joseph Whitlock and Rev. Ronald Ashworth officiating.

Katie Mickle
PORTSMOUTH - Katie Mickle, 39, of 72 Blue Heron Drive in Portsmouth, died April 16, 2000, in her home after a short battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 19, 1960. She was raised in North Conway and had lived in Portsmouth for the past 18 years. She was employed with Heath's Mobil Mart for the past five years. She was a volunteer in many school and recreation departments. She enjoyed coaching and helping out children in Portsmouth. She enjoyed the great outdoors such as camping, outside recreation and the beach.
Katie was the wife of Warren Mickle for 18 years. In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by four children, Robert, 17, Matthew, 16, Jonathan, 14, and Whitney, 11; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and many friends. She enjoyed life to the fullest and hopes her family will remain happy and healthy.
