Priscilla Plummer Forrest Philbrick of Silver Lake died Nov. 10, 2001, after a short illness.
She was born March 23, 1902, in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of Henry E. Plummer and Ethel Harmon Plummer. Priscilla was married first to Isaiah Lord Forrest, her husband for 42 years, who died in 1967, and subsequently, to her second husband of seven years, Frank H. Philbrick, who died in 1977. Her two sisters, Katherine P. Bartlett Richardson and Elizabeth F. Waterbury, predeceased her.
Priscilla was an active person throughout her long life. A graduate of Lynn Classical High School, she attended the Conservatory of Music in Boston, Mass., prior to her marriage in 1925. She taught piano in Madison for many years and sang in the Madison Church choir. She remained a member in the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years and, similarly, was a member of long standing in the Women's Club. She also was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Priscilla is survived by her three children: a son, George N. and Marcia H. Forrest, and their three daughters and families; a daughter, Elizabeth F. and Dr. William H. Annis, and their three sons and families; and a son, Henry N. and Susan E. Forrest, and their two sons and daughter and families. These families include nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren Two nephews, Philip W. Bartlett and his wife Martha of Florida and David C. Waterbury and his wife Claudia of Nevada; and cousin, Janet Gerry Vincik and her husband, Henry, of Springvale, Iowa, survive her.
A memorial service will be held November 13, 2001, at 2 p.m. in the Madison Church. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Madison Church Memorial Fund, Madison, NH 03849.
The Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway is in charge of arrangements.

Roland M. "Maxie" Sanphy, 67, of Intervale, died Nov. 8, 2001, at the Memorial Hospital in North Conway after a brief illness. Born in North Conway, the son of Roland and Alberta (Howard) Sanphy, he was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Sanphy was a self-employed contractor in the Mount Washington Valley for most of his life.
He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean War and a member of North Conway American Legion Post 95.
Maxie was an avid hunter, fisherman, talented craftsman, devoted family man and always willing to help out those in need.
The family includes: his wife of 43 years, Janet (Burke) Sanphy of Intervale; two daughters, Lynne M. Sanphy of North Conway and Rebecca S. Pelchat and her husband, Steve, of Intervale; four grandchildren, Jeremy "Rocky" Fall, and his fiancee, Ryan Frechette, Joseph Fall, Ashley Fall and her fiancee, Brian Flynn, and Nicole Pelchat; his mother, Alberta H. Sanphy of North Conway; two brothers, Douglas W. Sanphy of North Conway and Ronald Sanphy of Conway; two sisters, Marilyn W. Merrill of North Conway and Ellen Foley of North Conway; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Carolyn Gray, in 1978.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Glen Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. Donations may be sent to Jen's Friends, P.O. Box 1842, North Conway, NH

Hubert R. Noyes Sr., 77, died Nov. 6, 2001, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Waite, Maine, Sept. 22, 1924, the son of Vinal Sr. and Ruby Noyes.
Hubert was a Registered Maine Master Guide for over 50 years. His passion for all things outdoor will be sadly missed by all those who enjoyed the many hours spent in the woods and on the water with him. A natural story-teller, he loved to regale people with humorous tales.
Hubert is survived by Margaret Noyes of Waite, his wife of 53 years; one daughter, Ruby Hagen of Littleton; two sons, Jeffery and his wife Joanna of Tamworth, and Hubert Jr. and his wife, Dawn of Alexander, Maine; grandchildren, Judson Noyes and wife Tracey, Jonathan Noyes and Joy, Tricia Noyes, Trina Nielsen, June Nielsen, Katrina Hagen; one great-grandchild, Kyle Noyes; one sister, Lola Piers; three brothers, Vinal Noyes, Leonard Noyes and Walter Noyes; and many friends.
A graveside remembrance service will be held at a later date to be announced.

Judith Ann Mersereau, 55, of Holly Hill, Fla., died Nov. 6, 2001, at Halifax Medical Center. She was born in Waltham, Mass., and resided in Sudsbury, Mass., for 30 years. She had lived in Florida since 1995, coming from North Conway. She attended school in Sudsbury, and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Survivors are her mother, Rita Eisner, of Holly Hill; sons, James of Norwich, Conn., John of Portsmouth, and Joshua of North Conway; daughter, Jessica Montgomery of Dorchester, Mass.; brothers, James Eisner of Albuquerque, N.M., Frederick Eisner of Daytona Beach, Fla., and John Riley of Hudson, Mass.; and one sister, Christine Cavanagh of Hopkinton, Mass. She is also survived by her ex-husband, James Mersereau of North Conway.
Dale Woodward Funeral Home of Holly Hill is in charge of arrangements.

CONWAY - Thomas L. Boudreau, 57, of East Conway Road, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, at the Bridgton Hospital.
He was born in Saugus, Mass., the son of William and Ruth Dumas Boudreau, and graduated from Saugus High School. He lived in Wakefield Mass., for many years and worked as a mechanic for the Melrose Fire Department and was also a truck driver. He moved to Center Conway in 1983 and worked for Glen Builders, PAC 2000, and Hussey Farms. In his early years Thomas was a race car driver. He enjoyed playing the guitar, western music, NASCAR racing and dirt-bike racing.
Thomas was predeceased by his wife, Judith Sullivan Boudreau, in 1998, and by two daughters, Leann Boudreau and Betsy Boudreau. He is survived by one daughter, Shannon Boudreau of North Conway, two brothers, Richard Boudreau of Byfield, Mass., and William "Sony" Boudreau of Everett, Mass.; and five grandchildren.
One hour of visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Wood Funeral Home in Fryeburg. A funeral will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Frank J. Barton, 87, of West Brownfield died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, at the Maine Medical Center. Frank was born in Brownfield the son of Harry A. Barton Sr. and Estelle Harvey Barton, and attended schools in Brownfield. At the age of 15, he started working in the woods. He later owned and operated Barton's Dairy Farm for 30 years and was the last dairy farmer in Brownfield. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and especially gardening. He attended the Assembly of God Church in Kezar Falls.
According to the Guinness book of World Records, the smallest church in the world was built in Brownfield by Frank's parents. Frank married Myrna Eastman on June 7, 1936, in that church. He was predeceased by his wife in 1977, and a son, Harvey Barton in 1994. He is survived by two sons, Franklin Barton of Albany Township, Maine, Roger Barton of West Brownfield; one daughter, Fran Parsons of West Brownfield; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Kezar Falls Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Herbert Wilcox officiating.

Martha Ann Burke, 67, of North Conway, died Nov. 4, 2001, at the home of her son in Fryeburg, Maine, after a long illness. Born in North Conway, the daughter of Raymond and Martha (Eastman) Garland, she was a lifelong resident of North Conway.
She graduated from Kennett High School in Conway and had been a waitress at the New England Inn for several years. She also worked at the former Carroll County Hardware Store in North Conway and at J&J Floor Covering in Redstone for several years. Prior to her illness, she had been employed at Sid's Valley Food and Beverage in North Conway for two years.
The family includes: two sons, Stephen R. Burke Jr. of Fryeburg and Scott B. Burke of Casco, Maine; two daughters, Stephanie A. Fougere of East Conway and Sharon L. Cook of Conway; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth "Katie" Chauvin of Dudley, Mass.; a brother, Raymond J. Garland Jr. of Sun City, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. in the Kearsarge Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Nickerson officiating. Visiting hours will be today, Nov. 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway. Donations may be sent to the Memorial Hospital Chemotherapy Department, P.O. Box 5001, North Conway, NH 03860-5001.

Daniel W. Reddy, 64, of Nashua, died accidentally on Nov. 3.
He was the husband of Barbara (Knox) Reddy, with whom he celebrated their 28th anniversary on Oct. 20, 2001.
He was born in Melrose, Mass., on Oct. 10, 1937, the son of Irma (Coburn) Reddy of Hyannis, Mass., and the late Daniel W. Reddy Sr.
He was educated in the Manchester School system and graduated from Central High School Class of 1955, and Boston University Class of 1959. He served in the N.H. National Guard. Mr. Reddy was employed as a certified quality control manager for Summitt Packaging Co. in Manchester for over 30 years, retiring in 1999. After his retirement, Mr. Reddy had three articles published and was an avid golfer and a member of the North Conway Country Club.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves a daughter, Danelle Reddy of Delray, Fla.; two stepsons, Bruce Fox and his wife, Dr. Nancy Pratt of Hopkinton, Mass., and Richard Fox and his wife, Janet Testa-Fox of Hollis; four sisters, Janet Reddy-Willoughby and her husband David of Martha's Vineyard, Mass., Joyce Reddy Bradbee and her husband George of Colchester, Vt., Cynthia Roderick of Green Belt, Md., and Marcia Reddy of Palano, Tx; two grandchildren, Brandon Fox and Alexander Fox; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, Nashua. Services are Thursday, Nov. 8, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial is Saturday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m. at Conway Village Cemetery. Those wishing to make contributions in his memory may make them to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Giving Program. Charlotte C. Hartman, 88, of Lovell, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at Maine Medical Center. She was born in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Dr. Edgar Francis Conant and Rose Little Conant.
She attended Colorado Women's College and Antioch College and graduated from Ohio State University. She received her masters degree from Colombia University in Library Science. She was the head school librarian for the state of Rhode Island, also the librarian at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, and lastly was librarian for St. Mary's County in Lexington Park, Md. Charlotte lived in St. Inigoes, Md., for many years and spent summers in Lovell since 1934. In 1972, she moved permanently to Maine and co-owned with her husband a business they named Hartmart-Stamp and Antiques. She was also past president and secretary of the Charlotte Hobbs Library in Lovell.
Charlotte was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Donald George Hartman and a son, Edward. She is survived by one son, Bruce Hartman of Lovell.
At Charlotte's request there will be no service.
Arrangements are with Wood Funeral Home of Fryeburg.
