In later years, together with her husband, Benoit, she co-founded Tibo Lumber at 290 Broadway in Methuen. Alongside her husband, they worked tirelessly to establish what is today a very successful lumber wholesale business, spanning the continent. A lover of life, she enjoyed each and every day to the fullest, fun-loving, confident, generous and perky, this "vivacious gal" was a delight to be around. Her joie de vivre was infectious. A member of the Andover Country Club, she and her family enjoyed all the benefits of membership, making golf a mainstay.

She appreciated her "pied a terre" at Walker Pond in Webster, N.H., and relished any occasion or casual time spent there. This picturesque retreat was the perfect escape for her and her family. She delighted in the outdoors, especially the seashore, her memories of recent summers at Seabrook Beach were something she treasured. Her family and friends were very important to her, and she spent the majority of her adult life caring for those around her.

Knowing the importance of education, she, along with her husband, made certain their children had all the benefits of a Catholic school education. Actively involved at St. Augustine School in Andover, a room mother, lunch lady, and attentive parent, she was a visible staple in the school’s community. Generous benefactors of this school system, she and her husband have provided much assistance and continued support aiding many needy children in their educational endeavors.

A devout member of the St. Augustine Church community, she was an active parishioner who took her faith very seriously. She and her husband actively tried to pass this reverence on to their children through their great support of their parish.
