REAL J. FOURNIER
GOFFSTOWN – Real J. Fournier, 84, died Oct. 16, 2006, at the VA Hospital in Manchester after a lengthy illness.
He was born Dec. 14, 1921, in Manchester to Napoleon and Clerina (Dionne) Fournier. He was a resident of Goffstown the past five years. He previously lived in Alton for 10 years and Manchester for the remainder.

Mr. Fournier was employed for 26 years as a firefighter with the Manchester Fire Department.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of Wolrd War II.

Mr. Fournier was active in the Last Man’s Club at Henry J. Sweeney Post 2 and the Retired Firefighters Association.

He enjoyed walking and spending time outdoors.

Family members include sons, Richard R. Fournier of Moultonborough, Donald M. Fournier of Manchester and Peter R. Fournier of Weare; daughters, Louise C. Kellerman of Derry; Jacqueline G. Chauvette of Goffstown and Diane L. Jutras of Bedford; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Sisters of the Precious Blood, 700 Bridge St., Manchester, NH 03104.

ELLA B. BELLEROSE
ALLENSTOWN – Ella B. (St. Germain) Bellerose, 93, a lifelong Allenstown resident, died Oct. 19, 2006, at Harris Hill Healthcare Center in Concord.
She was born March 12, 1913, in Allenstown to Ephrem and Jennie (Burke) St. Germain.

Mrs. Bellerose was employed for many years in the China Mills and for Suncook Woven Label.

After her retirement from the textile industry, she worked for the Allenstown School District’s lunch program.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and quilting and liked donating knitted booties to orphaned children.

A communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Mrs. Bellerose was a member of the St. Theresa Rosebush Society and the Ladies of St. Anne.

She was predceased by her husband, Albert Bellerose, who died in 1956; and siblings, Robert St. Germain and Stella Forcier.

Family members include a sister, Irene Letendre of Allenstown; a brother, Don St. Germain of Pembroke; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Parish Renovation Fund, 10 School St., Suncook, NH 03275.

Petit Funeral Home in Pembroke handled the arrangements.

WILFRED J. CARRIER
HOOKSETT -- Wilfred J. “Fred” Carrier, 85, of Granite Street, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a long illness.
He was born Sept. 1, 1921, to Urbain and Eva (Grandmont) Carrier. He was a lifelong Hooksett resident.

Mr. Carrier was employed by both Emerson Mills and Seth Thomas, where he was foreman of the paint shop. After his retirement, he worked part time for Young Furniture.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a sergeant first class for the 198th Engineers and assigned to duty in New Guinea and Australia. Mr. Carrier had also spent 25 years with the Army Reserves, headquartered at the Concord Armory.

He was a member of the Merrill K. Follansbee American Legion Post 37 in Hooksett and the VFW post in Manchester. He was a member of the Precious Blood League of 1000 Men, was active on the Boy Scout Commission for Troop 292 and the Hooksett Youth Athletic Association. His pastimes included hunting, fishing, camping, music and golfing.

Family members include his wife, Viola (Demers) Carrier of Hooksett, with whom he would have celebrated 58 years of marriage in November; four children, Diana (Mrs. Robert) Fortin of Manchester, Roger Carrier of Hillsborough, Bill Carrier of Weare and Teri Carrier of Concord; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Philip Carrier of Hooksett, the last of 10 siblings.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Hampshire Chapter, 10 Ferry St., Suite 419, Concord, NH 03301; or the Parkinson’s Disease Association Granite State Chapter, P.O. Box 6212, Nashua, NH 03063.

NORMAN F. LUSSIER
GOFFSTOWN – Norman F. Lussier, 77, died Oct. 13, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.
He was born July 7, 1929, in Lowell, Mass., to Damase and Augusta (Dionne) Lussier. He was raised and educated in Lowell.

He was a resident of the Manchester area the past 40 years.

Mr. Lussier served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He worked as an assistant shipper/receiver for Sanel Auto Parts in Manchester until his retirement in 1995. Before that, he worked at assistant manager for Zayre’s in Manchester and Lowell JM Fields in Concord.

Mr. Lussier enjoyed reading, traveling and working outside.

Family members include his wife of 39 years, Pauline (Malenfant) Lussier; brothers, Roland Lussier of Bedford and Leon Wells of Pelham; sister, Marcelle Lussier of Pelham; nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St., Manchester, NH 03104; or the American Lung Association, 9 Cedarwood Drive 12, Bedford, NH 03110.

ANNIE AVEDISIAN
BEDFORD – Annie Avedisian, 88, died Oct. 18, 2006, after a period of declining health at Genesis Eldercare Center Ridgewood, where she resided for the past 12 years.
She was born Jan. 12, 1918, in Malden, Mass., to Aram John and Antaram (Minassian) Kachagian, who arrived in the United States during the years of the Ottoman Turks genocide of the Armenian people.

Mrs. Avedisian resided in Watertown, Mass., the majority of her years. She was the beloved wife of the late Aris Avedisian.

Family members include children, Aram Avedisian and his wife, Kathleen of Auburn, Margaret Avedisian-DeFreest and her husband, Donald, of Hooksett; six grandchildren, Scott Steven, Audrey, Sabrina, Angela and Olivia; sisters, Rose Kirakosian of Watertown, Mass., and Mary Savas and her husband, Milt of Falmouth, Mass.; a brother, Harry Kachagian and his wife, Mable of Waltham, Mass., and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Resident Fund Ridgewood Center, 25 Ridgewood, Road, Bedford, NH 03110.

LOMER P. THEBERGE
BEDFORD – Lomer Phillip Theberge, 97, of 2 Jackson Square, formerly of Laconia and Belmont, died Oct. 10, 2006, at Bel Air Nursing Home in Goffstown after a brief illness.
He was born Sept. 19, 1909, in St. Raphael, Quebec, to Napoleon and Elizabeth (Theberge) Theberge.

Mr. Theberge came to the United States in 1919, moving to Laconia and then Belmont, where he resided for more than 30 years. He returned to Laconia in 1976. In April 2004, he moved to his granddaughter’s home in Bedford.

He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a life member of American Legion Post 58 in Belmont, where he served as vice commander and secretary.

Before Belmont had a fulltime fire department, he was a volunteer firefighter, assigned badge No. 1.

Mr. Theberge was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Laconia.

He worked at the Belmont Hosiery Mill for 25 years as a knitter, at Manchester Sand and Gravel in the construction of Route 106 from Loudon to Laconia, and at the former Grand Union Supermarket and Quality Foods in Laconia as produce manager.

Mr. Theberge was predeceased by his wife, Blanche M. (Ricard) Theberge, in 2002; and a daughter, Patricia Allard in 1976.

Family members include granddaughters, Michele Roy of Bedford and Melinda Allard of Laconia; grandson, Michael Allard of Pueblo, Colo.; five greatgrandchildren; and a great-greatgrandchild.

JEFFREY ROBERT BOISVERT
WEARE – Jeffrey Robert Boisvert, 35, died Oct. 15, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center from complications resulting from heart surgery.
He was born Jan. 28, 1971, in Concord to Robert and Carol (Martel) Boisvert. He was a graduate of Central High School’s Class of 1990 and from New Hampshire Technical College in Manchester.

Mr. Boisvert owned and operated Henniker Speed and Accessories in Henniker. His ingenuity in fabrication resulted in the building of the Tide Truck, a portable laundromat specifically designed for Hurricane Katrina victims in New Orleans.

He was a man who loved his family and friends unconditionally.

His greatest enjoyment was riding his Harley-Davidson (rain or shine) and the annual ride to Maine with his close friends. He enjoyed building hot rods with his father.

In addition to his parents, family members include his wife and high school sweetheart, Amy (Spaulding) Boisvert, and his beautiful daughter, Fallyn “Tootsie Roll” Boisvert, whom he loved with all his heart, both of Weare; his maternal grandparents, Connie and Herb Towle of Barnstead; his “Aunt Root” (Ruth Krochmal); his uncle, Brian Towle and his wife, Denise, as well as their two daughters, Becky (Mr. Boisvert’s godchild) and Jillian Towle; and his aunt, Elaine Walter and her family.

PHYLLIS GERTRUDE JACKSON
GOFFSTOWN – Phyllis Gertrude Jackson, 85, died Oct. 20, 2006, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a period of declining health.
She was born in Bath, Maine, to Walter A. and Gertrude (Eastman) Small. She resided in Wrentham, Mass., and Erie, Pa., before moving to Goffstown more than 50 years ago.

Mrs. Jackson worked as an underwriter with several insurance companies including American Policyholder until she retired in 1986.

She was a member of Congregational Church of Goffstown and Mystery Rebecca Lodge.

Mrs. Jackson also sang and danced in musicals put on by the Goffstown Mothers Club and was a singer with Sweet Adeline’s of Bedford for 12 years.

Family members include her husband of nearly 64 years, Gordon P. Jackson; a son, Stephen A. Jackson; a daughter, Marsha E. Wilkes; four grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Niederberger.

Memorial donations may be made to Hillsborough County Nursing Home Guild, 400 Mast Road, Goffstown, NH 03045.

WALTER L. SPARROW
OROVILLE, Calif. – Walter L. Sparrow, formerly of Northboro, Mass., died Oct. 5, 2006, in Oroville, Calif.
He was born March 6, 1943, in Marlborough, Mass.

Mr. Sparrow was predeceased by his loving mate, Suzanne Pate; and parents, Hermon L. and Dorothy J. (Hamelin) Sparrow.

He was generous to a fault and believed you should live each day as if it were your last; he did.

Family members include two brothers, Philip and David; five sisters, Dorothy Lock, Sandra Johnson, Joyce Prosser, Jane Hadley, Jo-Ann Sparrow-Lane, a daughter, Carrie Phelps; and a son, Christopher Higgins; three grandchildren, Rachel, Christopher and Timothy.

IRENE B. KISTULENTZ
BEDFORD – Irene B. Kistulentz, 88, formerly of Manchester, died Oct. 20, 2006, in Bedford.
She was born June 1, 1918, in Manchester to Napoleon and Mary Jane (Grenier) Collette and was a Manchester resident most of her life.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Kistulentz was predeceased by her husband, Peter Kistulentz.

Memorial donations may be sent to the charity of one’s choice.
