Previously he was employed by Bakelite Corporation where he purchased equipment for solvent recovery and wrote the specs that were needed. He was also employed by Tidewater Oil Co. as a Project Engineer after graduating from the Pratt Institute of Engineering.
Veteran Info: During WW II he was a Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps ground training program for the Army Aviators, and gave instruction in Meteorology and Intelligence. He visited air bases in the US in this mission.
