CONSTANCE ZAABADICK, AGE 68, RAHWAY
Constance (Musacchio) Zaabadick, 68, of Rahway died Sunday at her home after a long illness.
Born in Elizabeth, she was a lifelong resident of Rahway.
She was a graduate of Rahway High School and of Washington School For Secretaries in Newark. Before her retirement in 1995, she worked in the accounting department of New Jersey Bell for over 20 years. Before that, she was a secretary at Personal Products in Milltown for several years.
She was a communicant of St. Mark's R.C. Church and St. Mary's R.C. Church, both in Rahway.
Her husband of 37 years, James Zaabadick, who worked for the Rahway Water Department for over 20 years, died in 2000. She was also predeceased by her father, Roosevelt "Teddy" Musacchio, who also died in 2000, and her mother, Carrie, who died in 1987.
She is survived by her son, James Jr. of Rahway; two daughters, Carrie Ann Zaabadick of Edison and Janet LaRosa of Avenel; three grandchildren, Michael, Jessica and Theresa LaRosa, and her sister, Doris Musacchio of Rahway.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at The Corey & Corey Funeral Home, 259 Elm Ave., Rahway. Interment will be held at Rahway Cemetery in Rahway. Visitation will be 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.

HELEN KEESHAN, RAHWAY
Helen L. Keeshan of Rahway died Sunday at Rahway Hospital after a short illness.
Born and raised in Rahway, she was an active member of the Rahway Golden Age Club and the Rahway Chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons. She worked at Quinn & Boden in Rahway for 14 years. She also previously worked at Regina Corp. in Rahway, where she made war materiel for the Korean War effort. She retired from RCA Corp. in Woodbridge after 18 years of service.
She was an active parishioner of St. Mark's R.C. Church in Rahway.
Mrs. Keeshan, along with her friend of 20 years, William Crozier of Colonia, were active with the Rahway Golden Age Towers in their monthly jaunts to Atlantic City, which was one of Mrs. Keeshan's favorite pastimes, along with cooking.
She was also an avid animal-lover and devoted time to this pursuit.
She was the widow of the late Rahway Fire Department Capt. James M. Keeshan. She is survived by her only daughter, Patricia M. Keeshan, the wife of Richard A. Jorgenson, of Livingston.
A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mark's R.C. Church in Rahway. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rahway. Visitation will be 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. tomorrow at Pettit-Davis Funeral Home, 371 West Milton Ave., Rahay.

RALPH ZAYAS, AGE 64, UNION
Ralph Zayas, 64, of Hopatcong died Sunday at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown.
He was born in Puerto Rico, and lived in Perth Amboy and Union before moving to Hopatcong 30 years ago.
He was employed as a corporate travel agent for American Express Corp. Travel Services in Morris Plains for 13 years. Prior to that, he was employed in a management position for 28 years at Sperry Corp. in New York City.
He was the son of the late Francisco and Esperanza Cintron Zayas, and brother of the late Louisa Cintron.
He is survived by his longtime companion of 43 years, Norman Price, with whom he resided; seven brothers, Eduardo of Puerto Rico, Mario and Efraim, both of Perth Amboy, Reinaldo of Piscataway, Ruben and Joel, both of Tampa, Fla., and Eliezer of Brooklyn, N.Y., and two sisters, Felicita Lebron and Helcias Ruiz, both of Tampa.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, with Pastor Neftalie Zayas officiating. Interment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodbridge. Visitation will be 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Carol G. Simon Cancer Cancer, P.O. Box 1089, Morristown, NJ 07962-1089.

Lillian Bjorlo, 68, homemaker, volunteer
WHITING -- Lillian Bjorlo, 68, died Wednesday (May 9, 2001) in her home.
Born in Chicago, she was raised in Norway and returned to the United States in 1951, residing in Brooklyn, N.Y. Mrs. Bjorlo lived in South Plainfield for 30 years before moving to Whiting two and a half years ago.
She was a homemaker, and volunteered as a home health aid for the elderly while residing in Whiting.
Her husband, Einar Bjorlo died in 1986, and her brother, Sverre Litland, died in 1995.
Surviving are her two daughters, Linda, and her husband Michael Sticco, of South Plainfield, and Carolyn, and her husband Roger Weil, of Bound Brook; three sons, Lloyd, and his wife Sharon Bjorlo, of Atlantic Highlands, John Bjorlo of Edison and Glenn Bjorlo of Raritan; four sisters, Alice Andersen of Mt. Bethel, Pa., Gladys Litland of Whiting, Shirley Andersen and Else Grinland, both of Norway; three brothers, Kaare, Arthur and Reider Litland, all of Norway; and her grandchildren, Melissa, Bridgette, Daniel, Danielle, Derek and Tyra.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church, 201 Hamilton Blvd., South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Plainfield.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the McCriskin Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield. Donations in her memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309 Dallas, TX 72565-0309.

ANNA COLON, AGE 72, PERTH AMBOY
Anna Lydia DelValle Colon, 72, of Perth Amboy died Wednesday at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division.
Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, she lived in Perth Amboy the past 45 years. She was a communicant of La Asuncion R.C. Church in Perth Amboy.
She was predeceased by her husband, Antonio Colon; her daughter, Edith Colon; her parents, Maria Lopez and Luis Cruz; her natural father, Justin DelValle, and two brothers, Vincente and Gregorio Cruz.
She is survived by six daughters, Haydee Bermudez, Lillian Burak and Lucy Colon, all of Perth Amboy, Gladys Colon of Philadelphia, Anna Marrero of Warwick, R.I., and Awilda Gonzalez of Atlanta; four sons, Humberto Colon of New York, Mark and Luis Colon, both of Perth Amboy, and George Colon of Sebastian, Fla.; four sisters, Eladia Cruz, Lucy Miranda, Marcelina Cruz and Cira DelValle; three brothers, Anselmo, Aurelio and Angel Luis Cruz, all of Cayey. Also surviving are her former husband and beloved friend, Pedro Rodriguez, 31 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
We will begin to leave at 9 a.m. Monday from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay St., Perth Amboy, for a 9:30 a.m. funeral Mass at La Asuncion R.C. Church in Perth Amboy. Burial will be at Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy. Visiting hours are 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

ARMANDO VELAZQUEZ, AGE 70, PERTH AMBOY
Armando Velazquez, 70, died April 26 in Puerto Rico.
He was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, and lived in Puerto Rico before moving to Perth Amboy in 1949. He moved back to Puerto Rico in 1999.
Before retiring, he had worked for Terra Cotta & Paeco Inc. and Raritan River Steel Co., both in Perth Amboy.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Flores Velazquez; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rafael and Maria Velazquez of Perth Amboy, and Eddie and Yvette Velazquez of Florida; his daughter and son-in-law, Noemi and Rafael Torres of Edison, seven grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Funeral services and burial were in Puerto Rico.

DOROTHY FRISCH, AGE 84, SOUTH AMBOY
Dorothy Frisch, 84, of Hazlet died Wednesday at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in South Amboy before moving to Hazlet 12 years ago. She was an assembly worker for Parkway Fabricators for 20 years before retiring in 1981.
Her husband, Wesley Frisch Sr., died in 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Karlik of Matawan; two sons, Wesley Frisch Jr. of South Amboy and David Frisch of Grover Beach, Calif.; nine granddaughters, Dorothy Frisch, Catherine Bartlinski, Judy Hadinger, Tammy Hoeschele, Doreen Lavan, Dawn Sommers, Jennifer Karlik, Shirley Karlik and Alyson Reyes; five grandsons, Robert Frisch, Ronald Frisch, Karl Karlik, Kurt Karlik and Mathew Frisch, and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport. Burial will be at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden. Visiting hours are 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

EPIFANIA MEDINA, AGE 62, NEW BRUNSWICK
Funeral arrangements have been completed for Epifania Milagro Medina, 62, of New Brunswick, who died Monday. The funeral will be held at 8 a.m. tomorrow at Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church in New Brunswick. Interment will take place at Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call 2 p.m.-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
