Elizabeth “Betty” Marone, 82, of Hammonton, died December 10, 2007, at the Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pueblo, Colo., she attended St. Joseph School in Hammonton. She was employed and later retired from Hammonton Park Clothes. Betty enjoyed music, being with her family, and helping others.
Predeceased by: parents, Carmen and Carmella Marone; brothers, Ralph, James, Joseph; sisters, Sue Sole, Amelia “Mamie” Abruscato, Rose Stellaccio, Theresa DeMill. Surviving her are: brother, Dan and his wife Lois of Cedar Brook; sister, Helen Sacco of Hammonton; many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on December 13 at 10 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon at St. Martin de Porres Church. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Foundation of W.B. Kessler Memorial Hospital, P.O. Box 437, Hammonton, NJ 08037 or St. Martin de Porres Church, 229 Park Avenue, Hammonton, NJ 08037.

Jacquelyn Perrone, 77, of Elmtowne, died December 5, 2007, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving husband and children.
Mrs. Perrone retired in 2001 as safety director after many years of service in the student transportation field.
Predeceased by: son, Kevin Cassario. Surviving her are: husband, Frank Perrone; sons, Patrick Cassario and his wife Bunny of Hammonton, Frank Perrone and his wife Dawn of Berlin; daughters, Sharon Colangelo and her husband Nick of Turnersville, Nancy Hickson and her husband Jerry of North Cape May; brothers, Harry DePoy and his wife Jean of Fairless Hills, Pa., Donald Knapp and his wife Josephine of Warminster, Pa.; sisters, Gwen McDevitt and her husband Lawlor of DeWitt, Iowa, Nina Mae Combs and her husband Clint of Hammonton, Catherine Brucia of Sun City, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on December 10 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church followed by burial at Oak Grove cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to the William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital, P.O. Box 437, Hammonton, NJ 08037, or to AtlantiCare Hospice, P.O. Box 1626, Pleasantville, NJ 08232.

Eugene Rodio, 92, of Hammonton, died December 9, 2007, at W.B. Kessler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Rosedale, he was an area resident all his life. He served in the United States Coast Guard as a Merchant Marine during World War II. He was a self-employed farmer.
Surviving him are: son, Jerome; brothers, Pat and his wife Angie, Louis all of Hammonton; grandchildren, Patrick and his wife Danijela, Gene and his wife Rochelle; great-grandchildren, Timothy, Samuel, Nicolai, Jarod Rodio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing today at 8 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church. Burial will be at holy Sepulcher cemetery.

Umberto Sergio, 80, of Hammonton, died December 7, 2007.
Born in Santa Maria Capua Vettere, Italy, he came to America in 1966. He was a tailor for WB Kessler Clothing from 1966 – 1975 and then a factory worker for Owens Corning Fiberglass until his retirement in 1986.
Pre-deceased by: wife, Antonietta Benedetto. Surviving him are: wife, Virgilia (nee DiSiena); son, Francesco and his wife Brooke of Winslow; brother, Agostino of Santa Maria, Italy; grandchildren, Anna and Simone Sergio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing tonight from 7 – 9 p.m. and Thursday morning after 8:30 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church. Burial will be at Holy Sepulcher cemetery.
Donations may be made to Catholic Charities, 9 N. Georgia Ave., Atlantic City, NJ 08401.

Gladys E. Fogletto, 84, of Linwood and formerly of Hammonton, died February 9, 2008 at Brandall Estates in Linwood.
Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong southern New Jersey resident. Mrs. Fogletto was a retired school teacher for the Hammonton school district where she taught third grade for over 30 years. She was a member of the N.J.E.A., a member of the Eastern Star of Hammonton, and a life time member of the Hammonton Presbyterian Church.
Surviving her are: son, Benjamin C. Fogletto Jr. and his wife Cynthia; grandsons, Connor Fogletto, Chase Fogletto all of Egg Harbor Township; sister, Doris Hand of Millville; sister-in-law, Ruth Daminger of Hammonton.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on February 12 at the Carnesale Funeral Home followed by burial at Greenmount cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 626 N. Shore Road, Absecon, NJ 08201.

Rose M. Benedetto, 89, of Hammonton, died February 8, 2008, at the Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hammonton, she was an area resident all her life. She was a former seamstress for local clothing companies. Mrs. Benedetto was an auxiliary member of DAV, VFW #1036, and American Legion #186 of Hammonton.
Predeceased by: husband, Salvatore. Surviving her are: sons, Salvatore and his wife Cynthia of Hammonton, Nicholas of Vineland, Dennis and his wife Ginger of Medford Lakes; brothers, Salvatore Marino of Hammonton, Fred Marino of Victorville, Calif.; grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, John, Stephen, Michael, Amy, Scott Benedetto.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on February 12 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church followed by entombment at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

Andrew Hascher, 91, of Ocean City, died February 6, 2008.
He lived in Philadelphia for many years before moving to Ocean City in 1982. Andy was a former thoroughbred horse owner and also real estate and insurance broker in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Predeceased by: wife, Margaret (nee Kane). Surviving him are: brother, David and his wife Maryann of Ocean City; many friends who knew him as “Handy Andy.”
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on February 9 at St. Francis Cabrini Church followed by burial at Seaside cemetery Palermo.

John W. Romeo, 87, of Minotola, died February 4, 2008, at Our Lady’s Residence.
A resident of Park View Gardens, he was born in Buena Vista Township and lived in Minotola and Landisville most of his life where he attended Buena schools. John proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. during World War II, where he attained the rank of Corporal in the Fourth Marine Division. He saw action on the South Pacific Islands of Kwajalein Atoll, Saipan, Tinian, and Iwo Jima. He often described with much detail the witnessing of the United States flag being raised in Iwo Jima on February 23, 1945. While in the Marine Corp., he received three battle stars and a Presidential Citation. After the war, he worked for DuPont Industries where he learned the craft of house painting and successfully operated his own painting business for several years. He worked as a truck driver for the New Jersey Department of Transportation for 25 years until his retirement in 1980.
John enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family and friends.
Predeceased by: wife, Mildred (nee DelBuono); sisters, Rose Crescenzi, Rita Barbagallo; brother, Victor Romeo Sr. Surviving him are: daughter, Maria R. Benedetto and her husband Daniel; granddaughter, Danielle of Hammonton; dear friend, Mary Jane Casella of Minotola; several nephews and nieces.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on February 8 at Queen of Angels Parish (Our Lady of Victories Church) followed by burial at Our Lady of Victories cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hammonton Rescue Squad, 300 S. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037 or the Foundation of William B. Kessler Hospital, P.O. Box 437, Hammonton, NJ 08037.

William A. “Billy” Foreman, 49, of Brooklawn, died February 5, 2008.
Born in Deptford, he was a resident of Brooklawn for the past 15 years. Billy worked in construction and was a member of Local #322 for the past 15 years. Billy loved his wife, children and grandson. He also loved his Harley Davidson.
Predeceased by: mother, May Elizabeth Foreman. Surviving him are: wife, Faith Ann (nee Burkert) Foreman; son, John William Cristinzio; daughters, Heather Marie Cristinzio, Jessica May Foreman all of Brooklawn; father, Robert Foreman and his wife Joan of Somers Point; brothers, Robert Foreman and his wife Debbie of Somers Point, George Foreman and his wife Dot of Washington Township; step brother, Brian Blair and his wife Kelly of Tennessee; sisters, Carol Lamoureaux and her husband George of Deptford, Alice Karas and her husband Tony of Blackwood, Kathy Lalk and her husband Dave of Berlin; step-sister, Bonnie Burham of Somers Point; grandson, Adam Joseph Cristinzio.
Relatives and friends attended a funeral service on February 11 at Grace Community Church in Waterford. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Billy’s memory to Faith Ann Foreman, 16 Third St., Brooklawn, NJ 08030.
