Samuel S. Frederico, 72, of Hammonton, died Saturday, January 28, 2012, peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Winslow Township, he was a United Stated Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He served three tours of duty in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star. A truck driver all his life, he worked for Santelli Trucking for many years. He loved driving his big truck, and now he’s driving God’s 18 wheeler. He was a very loving, caring, and giving man with a great sense of humor. He had a love for life. He loved to travel, enjoyed his downstairs bar that he built, his swimming pool, his lawn, his scotch, and his big truck.
Predeceased by: father, Salvatore Frederico; sister Carol. Surviving him are: mother, Inez Frederico; sisters, Joyce Sgro (Ronald), Bonnie Whisler (Carl), Joanne Paolello (Joe); brother, Richard Frederico; many nieces and nephews; his companion of 20 years, Colleen Rando; her daughter, Maureen Hogan (Paul); their three children, Kylie, Myah, Syndey; her son, James Rando (Lauren); their daughter, Ryleigh; his husband-in-law, James Rando Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation today, February 1, from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lighthouse Hospice, 1040 N. Kings Highway, Suite 100, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

Scott Allen, 43, of Hammonton, died Friday, January 20, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, N.J.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Red Bank, moved to Newtonville in 1988, and then resided in Hammonton for the past two years.
Predeceased by: parents, Henry and Martha Allen.
Relatives and friends attended graveside services on Thursday, January 26, at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

Rose N. Benedetto, 86, of Hammonton passed away Sunday in South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center, Vineland.
Born in Bargaintown she was a lifelong southern New Jersey resident. She formerly worked in the cafeteria at St. Joseph’s School. Mrs. Bene-detto was a longtime member of the PTA at St. Joseph’s School. She was an avid bowler in the Hammonton Woman’s League and she enjoyed baking for family and friends.
Predeceased by her husband Michael A. Benedetto Jr. She is survived by her two sons and their spouses, Michael A. and Colleen Benedetto III, of Aurora, Colorado and Mark A. and Lisa Benedetto of Vineland; one daughter, Marcia Goetzinger and her husband Dave of Wichita, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Thursday, February 2 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 2 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish in St. Martin de Porres RC Church, N. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Bishop McCarthy Residence, 1045 Chestnut Ave. Vineland, N.J. or to St. Joseph’s School 133 N. Third St., Hammonton. Thank You

Elizabeth A. Schoell, 78, of Collings Lakes died Sunday, January 29, 2012, at her daughter’s residence.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a lifelong area resident.
Predeceased by: husband, James F. Schoell Sr. Surviving her are: daughters, Linda Groman, Patricia Schooley, Deborah Hickman (Michael), Brenda McGregor; son, James Schoell Jr. (Jeanne); sister, Christine Hayman; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Services and burial were private and held at the convenience of the family.

William Gabriel LaManna, 75 of New Port Richey, Florida and Hammonton, New Jersey passed away after a short illness with his loving companion Loretta Moore and his daughters Linda Joy LaManna, Deborah LaManna, Dorothy Macrie, and Jamie LaManna by his side.
Bill was the owner of Bell Bay Farms in Hammonton, which became one of the largest blueberry farms in the area. After his retirement from farming, Bill started a new venture in commercial and residential real estate. Bill enjoyed the beach, horse racing, his pool and collecting fine artwork.
He was predeceased by his father Angelo (Skipper) LaManna, his mother Rose and his sister Dorothy LaManna.
Bill is survived by his loving companion, Loretta Moore of New Port Richey, his son William A. LaManna, his daughters Linda Joy LaManna (Tom Pietrofitta), Deborah LaManna (John Wiegel), Dorothy Macrie (Nick Macrie), Sandra Mastro (John Mastro), Nancy Fasciglione (Chris Fasciglione), Rose Mary Crescenzo (Bill Tomlin), Lauren LaManna (Ricky Gunz) all of Hammonton, and Jamie LaManna of New Port Richey, Fla., and 14 grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Friday, March 2, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St Anthony of Padua, 285 Route 206 in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 or to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East Thirty Third Street, New York, NY 10016.

Cheryl A. Snyder (nee Hartline), 51, of Hammonton, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Virtua Hospital in Marlton.
Born in Vineland, she lived her entire life in Hammonton.
Predeceased by: parents, Richard and Helen Hartline; brother, Ronald Hartline. Surviving her are: husband, Bronson Snyder; son, David Malizia and his wife Uriel of Egg Harbor Township; daughter, Amanda Wescoat and her husband Matthew of Hammonton; brothers, Richard Hartline and his wife Cindy of Pitman, Robert Hartline and his wife Marlee of Mullica Township, Randy Hartline and his wife Josephine of Newtonville; sister, Karen Barone of Northfield; grandchildren, Noah, Gabriel, Julianna, Destiny, Giovanna, Mackenzie; many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends attended a Memorial to celebrate the life of Cheryl on Tuesday, February 28, at Victory Bible Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Dominic “Junior” Damiano, died Thursday, February 23, 2012, peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Elm, he was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. Dominic was always ready with a good joke and willing to give his opinion. He believed in perseverance, hard work, family, and steering the kids in the right direction. Dominic worked as a clothing presser at Atlantic Dress in Williamstown for 25 years and was an owner-operator at Kerr Concrete & Pipe in Folsom for 25 years before retiring in 2002. Dominic enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, and was a New Jersey state champion bowler. He was a member of the Landisville Social Club and was fond of betting on horses and playing cards at the Taj Mahal. Most of all, Dominic will be remembered as a wonderful dad, grand pop, and storyteller who loved sharing witty anecdotes with his family.
Predeceased by: wife, Victoria (nee Destefano); brother, Peter. Surviving him are: daughter, Gloria Damiano and her girlfriend Lourdes Valentine; sons, James Damiano Sr., Dominic Damiano Jr. and his girlfriend, Dawn Knight; grandchildren, Natasha, Ariona, James Jr.; brothers, Daniel, Frank; sisters, Marie Nye, Florence Perry.
Funeral services will be held privately under the direction of the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home.

Frank A. Barresi, 83, died peacefully Wednesday, May 23, 2012, surrounded by family and friends after a brief illness.
Born in Hammonton, Frank served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, and he is a member of the American Legion Post 186. He started working for the Jersey Central Railroad in 1951 and later retired in 1990 from Conrail.
Surviving him are: wife of 63 years, Evelyn (nee Santora) Barresi; daughter, Karen Barresi-Henry (Mike); brother, Anthony “Whitey” Barresi; sisters, Mildred Barresi, Nancy Dewees (Charles) all of Hammonton; adopted daughter, Denise Plavchak; grandchildren, Melissa, special buddy Eric and Craig Plavchak; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 26, at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph’s followed by burial at Greenmount cemetery.
Donations may be made to AtlantiCare Hospice, P.O. Box 1626, Pleasantville, NJ 08232.

Juanita Lugo Maldonado, 86, of Hammonton, died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at her daughter’s residence.
Born in Cayey, P.R., she lived in this area for many years. She formerly worked at Cherry Hill Medical Center and Kennedy Hospital in their maintenance department. She was a DYSA foster parent for 18 years. Mrs. Maldonado loved playing bingo and going to the casinos.
Surviving her are: children, Maria Rodriguez, Luis A. Rodriguez, Wilfredo Lugo, Fernando Lugo, Hilda Lugo, Ramona Nieves; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on Saturday, May 26, at the Carnesale Funeral Home followed by burial at Greenmount cemetery.

Harry S. McKnight III, 57, of Collings Lakes, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at home.
Surviving him are: wife, Mary; parents, Harry and Dorris; children, Harry IV, Tina, Melanie, Joshua; sisters, Colleen, Susan, Karen; brother, Donald; grandchildren, Danica, Nathan.
Relatives and friends attended a viewing on Saturday, May 26. Cremation is private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of the Lakes, 19 Malaga Road, Collings Lakes, NJ 08094 or Abundance Life Center, 849 Route 54, Williamstown, NJ 08094.
