Hazel Cappellucci, 84 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8th at Bishop McCarthy Residence.
She was known affectionately as "Aunt Hay" to all her family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents; Luigi and Rose (Federico) Cappellucci, brothers; Anthony and Alfred Cappellucci, sisters; Angelina Rigoli and Nancy Marolda.
Hazel is survived by:
Her nieces: Linn Harper of Portland, OR.
Nan Brignolo (Larry) and Lori Haines (Gregg) of Vineland
Her nephew: Gerald Rigoli of FL.
Sister-in-law: Teresa Cappellucci of Vineland
And several great nieces and nephews
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1pm at the Chapel in Sacred Heart cemetery, Vineland. Interment of ashes will follow. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bishop McCarthy Residence, 1045 E. Chestnut Ave., Vineland, NJ 08360.

Mr. Jeffrey T. Weber

Birthdate: November 10, 1960
Age: 51
Jeffrey T. Weber, 51 of Vineland, died Friday, October 5, 2012 at home. Born in Vineland, NJ he was a graduate of Vineland High School, Class of 1979 and in 1981 he graduate from Cape/Atlantic Community College with a Fire Science Associates degree.
Jeff was a paid Federal and State Air Craft Crash Rescue Fireman at Atlantic City International Airport from 1981 to 2001 and he was secretary for the IAFF Local S18. He was involved in fire investigations, trainings, safety and was infection control officer at the FAA Technical Center in Pomona as well as Atlantic City Airport. Jeff has won multiple achievements in life saving and Atlantic City International Airport awarded him with the Purple Heart.
He was a volunteer Vineland Fireman with Company #4 from 1979 to 1999.
Jeff was a Varsity Boys Lacrosse Assistant Coach at Vineland High School from 2002 to 2011 and from 2002 through 2009 he was JV and Varsity Manager and Coach of the Vineland High School Ice Hockey Club. He was an avid fisherman, gun enthusiast and worked part-time as a novice gunsmith at Butch's Gun World.
He was predeceased by his father, Daniel H. Weber.
He is survived by wife, Lisa (Bascone) Weber, son, Jeffrey R. Weber and girlfriend Ashley Bings, daughter, Erica Weber, mother, Mary (Vanneman) Weber, brother and sister-in-law, Daniel M. Weber and Janet (Leone), father-in-law, Ronald Bascone and companion Kathy Phillips, sisters and brother-in-laws, Chelle (Bascone) Chammings and Paul, Missy (Bascone) Vicari and Doug, and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday at 11am at Christ The Good Shepherd Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 1010 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam cemetery. Friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 9pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland and again on Thursday morning from 9am to 10:30am at the CHURCH. Memorial contributions may be made to Jeff's children for their Scholarship Fund.

Mary Rizzo

Age: 70
Mary J. (Monahan) Rizzo, 70 of Vineland died on Saturday evening, February 25, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and friends at SJ Regional Medical Center, Vineland. The daughter of John and Margaret (Garver) Monahan, Mary was born in Philadelphia, and lived there until her family moved to Wildwood where she enjoyed the beach and working on the fishing docks. Mary eventually moved to Vineland after her marriage to her late husband Michael U. Rizzo.
During her life Mary enjoyed playing Pinochle, watching Sci-Fi Movies, and doing her Find-A-Word Puzzles. Her biggest enjoyment in her life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. For most of her life, Mary was a stay at home mom, but did work for ten years in Food Service at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland.
Mary is survived by her son, John Rizzo and wife Debbie of Vineland, daughter, Elizabeth (Betty) Michniak and husband Steve of Chester, Va., daughter Michelle Rizzo and fiancé, Mike Oliva of Vineland, son, Michael C. Rizzo of Washington, D.C., and daughter Lynda Trapani and husband Bruce of Vineland, grandchildren, Matthew Garvey, Brigitte Garvey, John Michael Rizzo, II, William Newman, Valerie Newman, Dominic Michniak, Arianna Michniak, Christina Moir, Susan Dunks, Sonia Everest. Great grandchildren, Giovanni Moir, Giada Moir, Victoria Vance, Riley Dunks, Sierra Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson, Ava Newman and Grady Newman. Nieces: Margie Amenhauser, Lynn Markham and Kim Loper.
Mary is predeceased by her husband, Michael U. Rizzo, sister Elizabeth (Betty) Watson, brothers, John Monahan and Michael Monahan.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 8pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Friends will be received on Saturday from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arthritis Foundation, P.O. Box 962280 Washington, D.C. 20077.

Ms. Brenda Lee Wood

Brenda Lee Wood, 51 of Vineland, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at the SJ Regional Medical Center, Vineland.
Born in Puerto Rico, Brenda was an aspiring and inspirational artist since she was a child. She enjoyed painting, drawing, crafts, sewing, singing and dancing. If Brenda could reach up and paint the sky, she would create a piece of art large enough for the world to see. She loved her children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and every smiling baby she came in contact with. Brenda loved quality time with her family and spent her time making people laugh. She was quick to make friends, and kept those friends close to her for all of her life. Brenda's affection and care for others before herself was beautiful just like her heart for her family. She loved to help people and never asked for anything in return. She will be missed by all of those who have been touched by her love. To Brenda, everyone was family.
Predeceased by her mother, Milagros Perez and father, Juan Torres.
She is survived by her children, Tony Alicea, Phillip Wood, and Sheree Wood; brother, Leslie Caraballo; sister-in-law and best friend, Madonna Caraballo; step-father, Eusebio Arroyo Quiles; ex-husband, James Wood; grandchild, Arturo Wood; longtime friends and family, Jose, Dolly and Chicky Vasquez; nieces and nephews, Alaina Caraballo, Anthony, Tamara, Elijah and Joseph Vasquez.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 7:30pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Robert F Vassallo

Age: 61
Robert F. Vassallo, aka "Gomer" 61 of Buena Boro, NJ, passed away Tuesday evening at the SJ Regional Medical Center, after a 9 month battle with brain cancer and its complications. Born in Vineland, Bob lived in Buena Boro his entire life. He was a graduate of Vineland High School and was a member in the Airforce of the 177th Tactical Fighter Group.
Bob owned Robert Vassallo Masonary Company, servicing the South Jersey area. Prior to starting his own company, Bob worked at Ireland Coffee-Tea Company for many years. He also worked at the Buena Vista Country Club as a bartender and assistant in the Pro Shop. In Bob's early masonary years, he worked for Dave Kemenish Assoc.
He was active in his community and served as the Buena Boro Code Enforcement Officer. He also held the position of animal control officer in Buena Boro and Upper Twps. Bob served on the Buena Boro Planning Board. He was a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, DC Rod and Gun Club, Pinebelt Skeet Shooting Club, 177th Tactical Fighter Wing Reunion Assocation, Landisville Social Club, American Legion in Somers Point and American Legion Post 270 in Minotola. Bob was also known as "Santa" for over 30 years for the American Legion Post 270.
Bob's greatest loves were of his family and friends. He was a great son, husband, brother, uncle, step-father and step-grandfather. He was blessed with many friends whom he loved dearly. His warm heart and sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew him. He enjoyed life to the maximum and living it his way. Bob enjoyed going to his place in the Poconos, as well as spending time on his boat. He also loved sharing time with his step-children, step-grandchildren, nephews, great nephews and nieces. Bob was quite the outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, skeet shooting, motorcycle riding and playing golf, were some of his favorites. He loved to cook, go to the casinos and had a large network of casino friends. Playing cards with his buddies was a favorite pass time for him as well. Bob loved his Golden Retriever dogs- Rocky, Baron, and Molly.
He is predeceased by his parents, Orlando "Earl" Vassallo and Mildred (Layman) Vassallo.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Vassallo, his brother, Earl (Jackie) Vassallo, sister, Anita (Jim) Abba, his nephews, Jim (Jodi) Abba, Brian (Michelle) Vassallo, his step-children, Julie (Joe) Naumchik, and Natalie (Gary) Reynolds, his great nieces, Taylor, Alyssa, and Madison Abba, his great nephews, Camden, Christopher, and Alexander Vassallo, step-grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah and Alexander Naumchik and Gene Reynolds. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, godchild, and many loving friends.
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, Our Lady of Victories Church, Landisville. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victories cemetery, Landisville. Friends will be received on Monday evening from 6pm to 9pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, and again on Tuesday morning from 8:30am to 9:45am at the CHURCH. Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association at JDRF.org.

Mrs. Patricia Daugherty

Patricia (Forcinito) Daugherty, 73, of Minotola passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 14, 2013, surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; three children, John Forcinito (Vogel), Karen (Vogel) DiGregorio, and Chris Daugherty; three brothers, Richard, William, and James Forcinito; one sister, Joan D'Ippolito; three grandchildren, Heather, Luke, and Jason; and six great-grandchildren.
In accordance with Patricia's wishes, services will be private. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.

Ms. Lori A. Markgraf

Age: 52
Lori Aline Markgraf, 52, of Vineland passed away Wednesday, June 26th at the Inspira South Jersey Medical Center. Born in Denver, Colorado, Lori was a lifelong resident of Vineland. She was the daughter of late parents, Marc and Pauline Markgraf, granddaughter of the late Berneice Dargan.
She is survived by her sisters, Stephanie Markgraf of Washington, D.C., Sharon Markgraf and her husband John DePasquale, and her niece, Jennifer Abate, all of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Lori worked at the Vineland Development Center for over 30 years. She recently retired as an Executive Secretary to the Medical Director.
Lori was fond of animals her entire life, especially her beloved cat, Chai, who lived by her side in life and now will sleep by her side forever. During her earlier years, Lori took pride in her horse, Pal, that she tended and rode daily. She found joy in caring for cats and other animals her entire life. Lori supported several non-profit animal rescue and caring organizations for many years. She had a passion for nautical artifacts and collected glass and porcelain crabs. She enjoyed football and was a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan. Lori loved gardening and her beautiful backyard was an oasis for family, neighbors and friends.
Lori loved the ocean and many of her weekends were spent at the Jersey Shore. She loved to travel to the Caribbean and enjoyed beaches in Florida, Aruba, the Virgin Islands, California and Paradise Island. She also enjoyed cruises, most recently a cruise to the eastern Caribbean islands for her niece's college graduation.
Funeral services will be private for family. In her memory, contributions may be made to the Cumberland County SPCA, 1244 N. Delsea Dr. Vineland, NJ 08360 or any organization of choice that rescues, protects, or cares for animals. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
